Went here for dessert and coffee after stuffing ourselves at another establishment. Love that about The Big Easy where you can restaurant/ bar hop all you want because they have late hours and are always friendly. (Makes it very easy to gain weight and get tipsy.) My cousin likes this place because unlike its fancy older brother Antoine which is just next door, Hermes does not require a dinner jacket or long pants. Tried out the happy hour here on a recent trip to NOLA. We arrived just after 4 pm, when happy hour started, and the bar was packed. Luckily, we found a couple seats available at the bar. Service was great, despite the packed bar. Drinks were good and the appetizers were on point. Loved all appetizers we had, which included: shrimp remoulade, onion petals, andouille sausage, and one chicken cordon bleu slider. The food was well seasoned and delicious. This place is amazing!! Chad and the staff are exceptional at creating a welcoming experience. Drinks are amazing. Food is superb. Prices are a steal. Definitely stop by before dinners reservations at Antoine's or just for fun! Highly recommended ?
