“This is my go-to spot for sushi in the city. While there are several more premium options for sushi, they come with premium price tags. None of them hold a candle to Origami in terms of value. The menu here is extensive, so it will be easy to find something for everyone in your party. The rolls are pretty standard, but all are good. Their nigiri in particular stands out for being excellent yet being almost half the price of some of the other more hyped sushi locations in the city. Their cocktails are great as well.“

“This place was A-MA-ZING! The food was wonderful, the environment was peaceful and the staff was so kind (ESPECIALLY) our server Rob (or Ron). I hope i got his name right, much apologies if i didn’t. He was very sweet, recommended great choices for me and my cousin’s first time there and he truly gave us a fun, vibrant experience with his bubbly personality. I can’t rave enough about how great of a server and his energy both are. We will most definitely be back to eat there again and will recommend anyone who’s in town to stop by and check the place out. “Came for lunch. Miso soup was REALLY good. And the salad looked plain as can be, but the dressing is actually incredibly delicious. Hibachi tasted well-balanced - well seasoned and nice presentation, didn’t take too long. I do dislike how it costs $14, and I end up spending $20 through tax tip etc. But I guess that’s how it is with dining in.Also please fix the flickering light at the bar! That made it a bit sketchy. But other than that good meal.“

“This is my second time here in 3 days. The food is beyond exceptional. I love sushi and went to 4 different restaurants in 5 days. There was something to satisfy every sushi craving. “I ordered food on Uber eats. I went back n forth with restaurants and this one had the best options for me. Preferred the beignets. So good. I haven't had this style in years. I built my own ramen bowl and it was by far the best ramen I've ever had. The broth was wrapped really well to ensure it didn't spill in transit. The pork belly's flavor! Oohh wee!! I also ordered smoked salmon sushi. I definitely recommend. The best smoked salmon I've ever had.“

“The food is great and the service is good...provided you don't arrive within an hour of closing. If you do, you will likely be told they are out of rice, fish, water, etc. I waited tables through college and I get that people who come in 10 minutes before a restaurant closes are the worst, but the staff here shuts down seating earlier than anywhere I've ever known. If they truly don't want to conduct business after a certain time, then they should close an hour earlier or simply clearly post a house policy stating no seating past a certain time rather than lie to repeat patrons.“
