“Excellent quick food service! I was impressed with the open kitchen and the freshness of the meat. We had the gyro wrap plate and the chicken shawarma plate. Both with salad which tasted better than it looked, and hummus, which was good, but not as thick as I'm used to. I thought for the price the serving size was fair. As others have noted, they do charge extra for pita bread. Overall pretty good and will definitely return!“

“We were at a conference at the Marriott and wanted a healthy choice of food. Cleo's did not disappoint! The menu had several dishes to choose from and the food was so fresh and delicious! We had the lamb kebabs, salad, saffron rice and hummus. I want to go back and try other dishes while we are here. It was a quiet and intimate atmosphere if you are looking for a break from the noisy NOLA scene. Prices were very reasonable!Vegetarian options: Vegetables were cooked fresh, salad was amazingDietary restrictions: There were so many options to choose from. I did not want bread or fried food, and we found the dishes delicious and fresh and portions of meat and vegetables large and satisfying!Kid-friendliness: There were children eating there, they seemed to enjoy the hummus!“

“Probably some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The creamiest hummus with loads of flavor. Really good baklava. Don't be put off by the fact this is inside an unassuming bodega - wfich ny the way has literally every kind of single serve beverage you can imagine as well as a huge vairiety of snack foods I've never seen. This is not an eat-in establishment. Take your food to go.“

“This has been our favorite restaurant for 10+ years. Can’t say enough about the food and service. My wife and I always ask for Carlin. She’s an excellent waitress and a sweetheart. With that being said, we’ll probably not be going back except maybe for a special occasion. The prices have gotten to be “above our pay grade”. We’ll miss you Carlin.“

“This is my fave Israeli restaurant, much more authentic to Israeli cuisine than Saba down the street, and a table full of delicious food for good prices. The owner even owns the restaurant across the street, Misa, where you can get cocktails discounted to bring back to Tal's. The staff is always friendly and food comes out quickly. I moved to Dallas several years ago and this is always my first stop when I come to NOLA to visit! Best meal I've had in months!“

“This place was great! The food was delicious beyond expectations, and the prices were very reasonable. We aren’t fancy restaurant people, so the laid back easy atmosphere was fine for us. The staff was super friendly. And what’s better than sitting on a barstool right at the front windows watching people go down a dirty sidewalk in New Orleans? It will always be a favorite in NOLA.“
