If it's very busy there might be some pressure from staff to leave your table quickly after you eat, which I don't love, but understand. But you can linger if you sit at the bar, and they have great cocktails!“

“Delicious food from Chef Ha and family. Best chicken soup anywhere that will cure whatever ails you! We go back as often as we can. My other favorite is the grilled tofu with vermicelli noodles.“

“We always get the Korean beef short ribs with kimchi. Amazing. Recently we have had the salt and pepper shrimp with lemongrass, tamarind, etc and all were great. Today we had the shrimp in house curry which was delicious. The broth in the pho is so rich that occasionally we purchase the broth. Young ladies providing service are excellent. No better Vietnamese restaurant in the 504!“

“I grew up in NYC loving the food in Chinatown, so when a local friend suggested we have lunch at Hong Minh in nearby Harvey, I thought "oh no, suburban Chinese food... blah." I quickly shed my preconceptions once food started arriving at our barebones table in a plain-Jane dining room in this nondescript strip mall. Dang! This is easily up there with the best Chinese food you'll find anywhere in the country. Highlights include BBQ pork, roasted duck, salt & pepper string beans and Singapore mei fun. I asked one of the owners who was taking a break from hacking up roast ducks what part of China they were from and he said "Hong Kong and Taiwan, NOT China." Take that, China and preconceptions!“

The BROTH was the MOST special thing about this place's Pho! I chose the bowl that boasted both the Beef flank and Navel cuts. Succulent, flavor, and so tender that I was able to hold one end with my chopsticks and use the spoon to pull the meat apart!
