I rarely leave bad reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was not good. First time at Palace Cafe, and won’t be back. We went for breakfast, and service was slow, they were out of bacon, and didn’t have any cheese other than feta for their omelette. The berry crepes were really bad, dry and the filling tasted spoiled. Our waiter never asked if we liked our food, and we couldn’t get coffee refills because no one checked on us or was around to get us some more coffee. The kids liked the pancakes, though. We definitely expected more from a restaurant owned by Dickie Brennan.

I have tried Palace Cafe a couple of times and that's enough. I took my husband there last night for his birthday/valentines day for a nice dinner. Both times I have been here the waitress' were not as attentive as I feel they should have been. It was not that busy last night and to top it off my husband ordered the shrimp etoufee and was given the shrimp tchefuncte. We were wondering why there were mushrooms in an etoufee. For this to be a Dickie Brennans chain, it is horrible. The atmosphere and the food that was correct was fantastic but we will not be back!
