“As soon as you walk through the door, you begin to understand that Thaihey has true heart and is all about the love of food, staff and guests. When we took a bite of our first appetizer, the small plate okra with secret spices, our feelings were confirmed: this is a special restaurant. Thaihey excels from the front of the house (Misty, Greg and Nate) to the kitchen (Chef Yimchalam). Chef creates magical Thai fusion dishes in a small, four burner kitchen with authentic Thai ingredients enhanced by locally sourced ingredients. Thank you for this truly amazing experience!“

“This is a really good locally owned Thai restaurant just a few blocks outside the French Quarter. I got the Crab Rangoon and the gyoza as appetizers, and they were amazing! For dessert, I loved the Umi cheesecake so much I got a second slice. I also found the chandeliers and the detailed mural made the space feel classy but still casual. The service was also very good. I will definitely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is level with the street. There are no stairs either inside or outside.“

“Love this place! The food is consistently delicious. Kind of a fast casual style, you order at the counter and pick a table. If it's very busy there might be some pressure from staff to leave your table quickly after you eat, which I don't love, but understand. But you can linger if you sit at the bar, and they have great cocktails!“

“This first time trying Thai food and honestly I was a little scared so I didn't order much. But the Mango Sticky Rice was amazing. Lately I’ve been so sick of eating the same foods so this dish definitely gave me something different. The Nola Thai Rolls were amazing and you can definitely tell the ingredients are made fresh and the sauce that it comes with is a 10/10. Customer service was great, I placed a to go order on the phone and the guy i spoke with was nice and informative about the dishes. So if you looking for something different I recommend Thai Nola. I’ll definitely return and try some more new things.“

“I’m usually a google review lurker, but this place is so amazing I had to share. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 5 years and walked by this place many times but have never dined until yesterday. In a city with so many trendy restaurants, it is easy to overlook this place at first, but don’t be fooled. My partner and I decided stopped in to check this place out and had an EXCEPTIONAL meal! We sat on the patio which has the loveliest energy and is decorated in a way where you can really tell someone put some love into opening this place. We had a Thai tea and iced coffee, a seaweed salad, a squid steak, crab fried rice, and the garlic shrimp. Everything was delicious, but the squid steak and crab rice were out of this world. Super fresh and generous portions. Everything is priced so reasonably! Our food was a little slow coming out, but there was just one waitress and we weren’t in a rush so we actually enjoyed being able to relax outside and just enjoy the atmosphere. This place has a lot of heart and soul in the food and location, and was a lovely departure from some of the heavier dishes/cuisines NOLA is known for. Will definitely be coming back!“

“The food here it is absolutely delicious!, I had the best spring rolls ever here in NOLA in this place! They have plenty vegetarian/vegan options, the curry is delicious, the fried rice is abundant and amazing!.... The lady that took care of us that day was super nice and helpful. I'm definitely going back someday!“

“Denied access to a legally allowed service dog without any interest in making accommodation. The dog tucked immediately under the table where she is supposed to be and the server (maybe owner) came over immediately asking for paperwork, which isn't required in the United States. Any paperwork provided is typically bought off the internet. Don't waste your time or money here. Sharing their intolerance on every platform. Also just found out that the person who told us we couldn't eat there laughed and tried to joke with the rest of our party and offer free drinks after the fact like that was going to fix splitting our dinner party.“

“We stopped in 2 years ago with 3 teenage girls, 2 of whom are extremely picky. They still talk about how good the was here, and ask when we are going back to New Orleans so they can get more. It was delicious.“

“Came here the other day for lunch. I have a friend receiving treatment at Touro Hospital, just a block away, so I walked over here to get some food. I had the egg drop soup and the Vietnamese chicken salad. The egg drop soup was as good as I have had elsewhere. The chicken salad was good but unusual as it had a lot of celery. Food was ready promptly and easy to call in over the phone. The vast majority of their lunch business is takeout! And they are efficient at it. Recommended. They seem to do the basics without issues at pretty good prices -- nothing special but nothing to complain about either!!!! Very convenient for take out to Touro.“
