“Incredible experience at Bar Marilou! Highly recommend. The ambience was great, the drinks spectacular but Hunter made the evening. Great personality and recommendations. We tried a variety of drinks and all were delicious, balanced and refreshing. If you're looking for a great experience, find this bar and ask for Hunter!“

“Bacchanal was recommended by our Lyft driver. We went the last night of Jazz Fest. Our driver was right it was fabulous. The place doesn't look like much when you pull up to the front, but what a surprise when you walk in. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is the perfect New Orleans style place with an amazing vibe. We ate upstairs after picking out a bottle of wine. We had the Gambas(Shrimp), the Patatas Fritas and the Pork Chop. All were wonderful, especially the Pork Chop. It was cooked/grilled to perfection. Maybe the best Pork Chop we have ever had at a restaurant. We were able to hear the band that was playing in the courtyard but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation. And the prices are very reasonable. We will be back next time we are in New Orleans.“

“Outstanding authentic Italian food! We were a party of five and everyone loved their entrees while we shared several appetizers. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. One of the entrées had lobster cooked to perfection! There are some great cocktails and excellent choices for wine by the glass. Deserts were too delicious. Service was outstanding and the decor was enjoyable. With so many choices in Nola, this one is very highly recommended!“

“such a cute lil spot. only got one dish and it was very good (crudités) and wish i could go regularly to try more stuff because what i had was so promising! but the star of what i tried was the soft serve (chocolate with chili crisp), it was smooth and creamy and a nice level of chocolate. good vibes and folks. if i lived in new orleans would hit this spot up often!“

“All of my senses were OVERWHELMED with pleasure at Criollo's Jazz Brunch! The service and food was superb Michelin level quality. The live jazz band kept me entertained as I was coursed out. The chef elevated the fried green tomatoes and chicken biscuit to an award winning level. The chicken biscuit was smothered in jalapeño's, scallions and the best rue I have ever tasted so I sent my compliments to the chef. Every delectable bite forced my eyes shut so I could deeply enjoy the freshness, flavor and texture. While I was enjoying coffee the chef sent complimentary Rosemary & Lemon Custard Madeline's. It was an innovative way to approach this classic pastry. My only critique is the custard on top was so good I wanted more. Very light, fresh, and balanced melody of flavors. The consistency was reminiscent of a fusion between a scone and puff pastry. You can tell the French invited fries by how well the fries here complimented every dish. It was such a phenomenal experience, I found myself making reservations for the next day halfway through brunch and I am happy to say the food, service and entertainment are consistently great here. The fancy French atmosphere at Hotel Monteleone was fit for a Queen and the bathroom attendant cleaned the stall prior to each guests use. This is a must try spot in The French Quarter.“

“Have been here a few times. Despite being really close to the expressway, it's fairly quiet and they've put a lot of work into creating a sleek and posh vibe inside the bar. The wine list is extensive--perhaps one of the best in the city. They offer a decent list of wines by the glass daily. I haven't been there for any of the happy hour deals or food pop-ups yet. Hopefully someday. As someone who grew up around Northern California wine country and has lived in other countries that produce world-class wines (France, Hungary), it's great to see so many types of wine in one place. However, I've found the service average at best--not particularly welcoming--which is odd in New Orleans. There is just a smidge of condescension, which doesn't bother me, but I do sense it. I guess this is why people who like wine sometimes get labeled wine snobs. The bathroom area is really cute, and I heard some pretty good minimalist type electronic music being spun by a DJ one night. It would also be great if they featured some Hungarian wine, which is very well-known in Europe (in fact, there is a natural wine phenomenon going on there currently) but very slept on outside of it.“

“Just found a jewel near the bayou. Me and relatives wanted a drink after a Friday outing. Some1 searched bars near us, and we headed that direction. After passing the bridge construction and potholes on the nearby street, sat a little unassuming bar with indoor and outdoor accommodations. We stayed inside and viewed the game. I got rum punch another a margarita. Both nice and tasty. Our 3rd person wanted food. The sharable portions were just what we needed. I ventured out to the Xmas lit - gravel filled courtyard and chilled a bit til my people looked around. It was late nite and chill.U will love the atmosphere. Bartender Ally catered to us with a few song selections. She made the nite.E n j o yGive this review 5 ? 'sParking: Found a spot on street no problem“

“Staying nearby and drove by a few times and saw it was always busy. Walked up for an early dinner and couldn’t have been more impressed. Great people, great atmosphere and unbelievably delicious food made with fresh ingredients. Also found everything reasonably priced. Very happy that we trusted in our rule of eating where the locals go. How have they not been featured on the Food Network???“

“Our first stop in the French Quarter this place is tucked away on one of the side streets. There's a nice outdoor area and a very cool air conditioned seating area inside with lots of couches and chairs to hang out at.Mostly wine, sparkling wine, and various cocktails. Everything was priced reasonably for a wine bar. There are lots of puppets and classic NOLA trinkets and artifacts to look at here as well. If your looking for something more casual near bourbon to hand out and escape the crowds this is a good stop.“

“I lived down the street from Ale for three years and absolutely loved the place. The setup is perfect. I describe it to my friends as "A casual bar on one side with great beers on tap, and then a nice wine/cocktail bar on the other side, connected by a patio between the two." They have something for everyone at Ale or Wine, no matter what you drink. They also have one of the best burgers in the city and you can quote me on that.I love going to Ale to watch a Pelicans games on one of their many TVs, and they open early for Tulane and LSU games sometimes too. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. Also the bathrooms are always clean. There are all sorts of people that come to Ale, whether they are locals, couples on a casual first date, a local business having a staff party, or a group of friends grabbing a drink before a show at the Maple Leaf.“

“Food is varied depending on which pop up is housed. The atmosphere is always great. The bar is spacious with plenty of bartenders. Beer selection is big here, and Wrong Iron also has some specialty beers and wine. The seating is plenty inside and outside. You can reserve sections for a private event. This bar is on the Lafitte Greenway and has a nice view. Plenty of televisions for viewing.“

“Fantastic wine in a self serve environment with great small plates of food and charcuterie boards! The atmosphere is calm and laid back. The maps on the wall point out the wine regions covered; for example, France, Spain, Italy, and the USA to name a few. Use your card you receive upon entering to dispense a 1oz, 2oz, or 4oz pour of each one you select. Present the card pay at the register and there is a log of all your wines along with the amounts!“

“Although they were short staffed, the server was wonderful and the pizza was delicious. I recommend the thin crust. Some family members raved about the Cajun Shrimp pizza. I’d have given 5 stars except the restaurant was not very wheelchair accessible. I might have made it over the threshold. But, I wasn’t sure and didn’t want to get thrown out of my chair. So, we ate outside. The worst part was that the bathroom had a large concrete curb you had to step up on. There was no option for me.“

“We hosted our wedding of roughly 60 guests at Barrilleaux's, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Our guests are still raving about all of the amazing food. It is a beautiful indoor setting, with plenty of tables for guests to mingle outside. At first, we were a bit worried that the space might be too small, but we had a six-piece band, and ice cream sundae bar, and still more than plenty of room to dance, for guests to hang out at their tables, and to walk around and mingle. We found out the day of the wedding that one of our guests was vegan. When we asked the chef if there were any vegan options on the buffet that we had planned, he went out of his way to make her an entire beautiful, custom vegan dinner. We thought this was absolutely above and beyond and we are so thankful to the chef! Brittani was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and Patsy was incredible on the day of. The team is super accommodating, friendly, and truly made it the best day ever.“
