“As always, the food is delicious. We recently had the special, ramen, which came with either shredded beef or chicken and spicy or not. The broth was delicious and seasoned well. I chose the spicy option, which was not super spicy, just a hint of heat. It came with melted cheese, a boiled egg, and chopped red onion on top of a mound of noodles and shredded beef. We all would order it again. The atmosphere is also a key point. The space is large, airy and open, and beautifully decorated with plants galore. We always enjoy eating here and grabbing a coffee to go.“

“All thoughts are honest and opinions are my own.* My family and I have visited the Creole Bagelry many times while being stationed in Slidell. It is truly an incredible bagel shop and the staff are incredible. Every single time we have come, the staff are friendly, warm and welcoming; they are always happy to see their clients and it shows with their smiles. Everyone from the front cashier to the associates behind the window are sweethearts. The food is absolutely delicious; we come here specifically for their bagels of course. They have a new monthly bagel and cream cheese- which is always delicious. Of course for Mardi Gras they had King cake and it was bomb! My 11 year old loved it. I love that they have bagels to satisfy every tooth- if you’re a sweet tooth like me or prefer hearty, they have it. However, I always get a blueberry bagel and blueberry cream cheese. It’s consistently delicious and always satisfies my sweet tooth. All of their bagels I’ve had are delectable though. Their breakfast plates are great portion sizes and well priced; we prefer to support local businesses as much as we can and the Ma and Pa environment is real here. They genuinely treat you like friends at Creole Bagelry; we will continue to get our bagels from here while we finish our tour in LA. Thank you Creole Bagelry for 10/10 service every time! Enjoy my pictures of my yummy bagel!Kid-friendliness: Extremely family friendly; they had a Mobile arcade party to thank their clients. My husband and son and myself had a blast!“

“Best snowballs in Slidell. The ice is sooo soft and the flavors are rich! My mother loves to visit this stand when we are in the area. They have so many menu items, including cheesecake stuffed snowballs. The absolute best part is their drive thru, yes, you don't even have to get of the car! If you are in the area stop by for a refreshing sweet treat!“

“Absolutely amazing, burritos, tacos and rice and beans. Haven’t found Mexican this good since el paso. Oh, and I’m not hyping this up as some previous disgruntled people reviewed. I live 3 hours away and make sure to make this a weekly stop on way back from Nola for work. Almost forgot to mention they are very consistent! The food is exactly as I expect it every visit.“

“Home style cafe vibes Menu was vast from salads to seafood. I chose the Catfish and Shrimp plate. Filet was a very big portion and the shrimp were definitely jumbo I got side of veggies and this was not what I expected. Chargrilled and full of flavors! As for the Mac-n-Cheese, get it if you love cheese. I do and I will say it's worth it. I'm almost positive there were 42 1/2 layers of cheese and noodle. Delish! My only knock, tarter did not taste homemade and I'm a stickler for dips/dressing being bought. Mainly because I know how simple it is to just make them. It could be homemade but I didn't get that. Otherwise, the cocktail sauce tasted homemade. Different vibe than usual. More of a chunky salsa consistency with some heat. Wasn't mad about it. Overall would I go back. Yes. Would I get the same dish, heck yes. I want to try a salad next. The staff said they are really good. Better be NOT store bought dressing though“

“Living in Houston you can only get snoballs a few places. I heard that New Orleans was the place to get them. I know this is Slidell but was told this was a cool spot. The lady who took our order was cool and when we asked which was sweeter between the Tigers blood and Tutti Frutti she gladly gave us jello shot size samples. I ordered the Watermelon/Pineapple in a kiddie size and the kiddie size is about 8oz! The ice is soft but I prefer it a bit softer but the flavor was on point. Although it didn't look like alot of juice it definitely was and perfect for a hot day. If you looking for a cold treat for a hot day stop by!“
