“I took my boyfriend here for his first time, and it was a joy to watch his jaw drop with every meal item. The owner came and introduced herself and made everything from scratch including sauces that were requested. The waitress and bartender were friendly, attentive, and creative with drinks. 10/10 would recommend to anybody. Great dining experience and will definitely return!“

“Food was hot and delicious. Not much of a wait time for service either. Tables are big enough for everyone to eat comfortably also their daily menu is very reasonable for the food you get. If in the Slidell area give them a try you won't be disappointed by the flavor.“

“Fried shrimp were good, fried oysters were good, potato Salad was good, coleslaw was good, gumbo was different but good.Crab cakes have a little too much filler for me, they had a decent flavor though.I would avoid the fish, definitely not wild caught local fish, which is a shame give all the catfishermen in the area. It was kinda tasteless and rubbery. Overall decent place with friendly people, I would go back, just wouldn't get the fried fish even if it were free.“

“They cut out many options they used to have. Staff barely pays attention to anything you have to say. There is only one size bowl & of course it is large. Quality overall has gone down while the price continues to rise. It may be due to inflation or shortages, but to me the food & even experience as a whole is not worth the cost. Will probably not much longer in my opinion.“

“Love this olive garden the food is always amazing I got the spaghetti but one time my moms steak was a little overdone and they made sure to fix it right away. Staff is really amazing some of our favs are Jojo, Kaitlyn, and z the atmosphere is always inviting.“

“I've ordered here more than 20 times. They've always been great at my orders but I've never left a review. Today they messed up my order, 2 slices of carrot cake. I got home, noticed one was cheesecake, called them and they made it easy and gave me a handwritten apology. First class service that's worthy of being acknowledged.“

“All staff were courteous and friendly, even opening the doors for my Wife and myself (both of us are disabled and use walkers ). We got seated right away and our order taken. Thin fried catfish is still the king ! Hot, fresh and crispy ! Warm french bread with butter yummy .. hush puppies were not the best as they were hard to chew. Fries and slaw was good. Inside dining area is nice, roomy and clean ?. Definitely coming back to try the thick cut catfish ? ..if you leave here hungry, it's not their fault as portions are good !Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty room to park as well as move inside.“

“On 4/9/2024, I went in to the restaurant for a carry out order. When I got to the pickup area, there was a (not so) gentleman in front of me berating an employee, Mary Cantrell (who I believe is a manager). The man was angry that his card had been cut after he negligently left it at the restaurant. Ms. Mary explained numerous times the card was cut for his financial safety. Despite the male customer being a complete and total jerk and not being appreciative, Ms. Mary handled the situation professionally and as calmly as she could. Ms. Mary I applaud you for your patience. You’ve been there for years and I hope you continue to be there for many more.“
