“this place is my favorite! pork and chicken bahn mi are both incredible, pork breakfast roll is amazing good and crispy, and the ice coffee is simply the best. the bahn mi has homemade bread that is simply incredible. and the sandwich does NOT skimp on vegetables and meat, the second time i went i just decided to give in to my deepest wishes and bought two lol. for whatever reason the address on google is listed wrong, behrman HIGHWAY not avenue!! i hope anyone who accidentally drove all the way out there makes it to this holy mecca one day. it is incredibly worth it.“

“Probably one of the nicest and cleaner Starbucks I've been in in along time. I especially loved the murals and artwork. The chairs and dinning room layout was homely and nice. This is the kinda coffee shop you want to go sit and hang with friends. Reminds me of the good Starbucks I've seen abroad in Japan and Spain. Alot better than the mundane and sleepy college coffee shops I've seen back in North Carolina. I just wish they would grind my beans the right grind size.Kid-friendliness: My kids are loud and hyper and they had plenty of room to not bother people.“

“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.“

“We loved our meal here! The environment felt very nice and clean, and the service was great. I had the lemon buttermilk ricotta pancakes, and OMG! They were so fluffy and decadent without being too sweet. My dining companion had the BBQ shrimp and grits and said they were the best he'd ever had. He looked so happy! Would eat here again all day, any day!“

“This place is an absolute gem with one of the best cappuccinos/iced cappuccinos in town. Gelato and pastries are always amazing… rainbow cookies (seasonal) are my personal favourite, and I’m picky. I’m writing this review to specifically combat the poor review left a few below mine. it’s really off the mark. to want an update to the decor means you probably want a whatever hipster bakery vibe — this place is a living piece of history and the decor is half of why i go & choose to dine in. don’t be dissuaded becos Brocato’s is wonderful and one of a kind.“

“Great little cafe tucked in the quarter featuring a wide variety of games from arcade machines to uno. Love the vibe and the food here but the coffee is a bit pricey.Got a large mocha (more like medium sized) for around $8-9. Just a bit more compared to other cafes like PJs.“

“This was such a cute little restaurant. It came recommended by our Air B&B host. The doughnuts were delicious, and the cinnamon buns were awesome! Coffee was killer! The staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. We will for sure be back!“
“Very cozy bookstore and coffee shop. Really beautiful space. Extensive selection of books. We came about 30 minutes before the store was closing, so by the time I found a book to buy, I didn't get a chance to order anything from the coffee bar, but it looked delicious and the menu had a few things that were very unique, such as rose matcha. Hope to be back in New Orleans and spend more time in this bookstore.“

“Just arrived in NOLA and needed a wellness boost after traveling, so I stopped by the Antidote Juice for a visit. For juice, I ordered the Beetnix, which has green apple, beet, celery, cucumber, and greens. For food, I grabbed the berry blue parfait, which has Lebanese yogurt with chia, honey, blue spirulina, and topped with berries and house-made granola.Y'all, the blue yogurt was such a fun and surprising twist, definitely give it a try!“

“French Truck Coffee used to be much stronger when this place opened up on 1200 Magazine St. I would gladly be willing to pay the increase if you need to adjust the recipe for your iced coffee brewing process. I'm sure the locals would agree. Thank you! This is coming from one of your first local customers when you guys opened up. Keep the coffee strong! We Love It!“

“I loved the vibe here! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I had their earl grey tea and added some milk and honey, and then had their butterfly peaflower green iced tea with honey and sugar. Both were tasty! The environment here is to die for. Even if the drinks had been garbage I would have stayed just to relax on their lovely back patio.“

“Great place for breakfast, menu has changed some what, less omelet selection, grits are a little runner spread out onto the plate looks like more but less. I ordered fish and grits w/eggs. Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. I told her I had ordered fish and grits, no sir you ask for shrimp and grits. Anyway the food taste good my guess were happy, In the end so was I. 9/04/23.“

“We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mike and his family while visiting New Orleans back in June 2017. This was not a planned visit to their restaurant, but one that will long stay with us. Great Food, Great Experience -Do Not Miss the Chance to add this place to your ‘Bucket-List’. The Shirmp and Grits was off the hook good.“

“We almost kept walking by this place when we looked in the window because it looks like a counter service kind of place, but the waitress waved us in. We are so glad that she did. The food was amazing, best breakfast that we had in New Orleans. And super friendly staff. The atmosphere is kind of combination of diner/cafeteria but don’t let that fool you.“

“Best Breakfast Quiche If you're lucky enough to catch them open this casual spot has amazing hand made pastries and quiche. The owner is there daily doing the baking. I've been a regular at this spot for the last 5 years. They're consistent at what they do. Even the vegetable quiche is outstanding. It's a cost friendly alternative to the crowded breakfast spots downtown. If you're there at 1:30-2:00 they give away the day's unsold pastries to customers...“
