This means the beef itself has to be well seasoned without relying on the sauce and Bella's does not disappoint!My husband and I drove from another part of the state to eat here because it's so highly rated on the North Shore Beefs page. “For round NY style this is easily the second best in Massachusetts only behind Joanie’s. Thin and crispy with a nice mild char on the crust. Nice cheese blend and a sauce that’s mildly robust and flavorful. Got a side of meatballs and they legit tasted like what my mother made when I was a kid. The 80’s decor and vibe is absolutely awesome. Highly recommended.“

She could barely finish it. That too was cooked perfect and very tasty!My only complaints...it was very loud. Difficult to hear our conversations. Also...the bathrooms are one person at a time. So my suggestion is to rush to one as soon as the 'urge' happens. “[Long review alert - but I simply can't shorten this] From the initial contact of calling in our take-out order, I knew this was a quality place. I could feel the smile on the other side of the phone, very welcoming. I shared with her (the owner, but I didn't know that yet) that I was picking up a sandwich for my sister who was nearby in a nursing home, who had specifically requested from Amore. When I walked in I was instantly drawn in by the amazing smell of the food, and noticed how clean and cute it was inside. I was greeted with smiles by both the husband & wife owners, even while they were busy helping who was in front of me. Then the husband said "Laura?" - YES! I felt like I was in their home. Chatting with wife as we rung up, she asked how my sister was. I told her how excited I was that she was actually hungry and made this request, as she's been very ill for a long time. The wife was so kind and genuine and shared in my joy, and proudly shared everything they make is from scratch. After we rang up, I was starting to leave and she implored me to "Please pick a dessert for your sister, on the house." I was floored. I said no, it's ok! But she, like a nurturing mom, insisted. --- OK - now I'll tell you about the subs. DELICIOUS! My sister devoured her steak and cheese made just as she'd asked it to be, and my chicken parm was full of fresh chicken, with authentic tomato sauce (no added sugar as far as I could tell, which delighted me) and perfectly melted cheese. The bread rolls were super fresh. And the dessert? I chose the chocolate chip cookie, thinking just 1 but she gave me 2! So I can personally attest now that the cookie melted in my mouth. She must have just baked them today. How on earth I have not been here until today blows my mind. I can't wait to go back. Places like this are rare and I'm going to sing their praises to everyone! Space is very roomy and tables are not on top of each other. Large windows make inside light and sunny. Staff will adjust window shades as the sun streams in if need be. “Wow is my first impression. We just moved to this area from Las Vegas and chose this as our first meal to try and we were not disappointed. First, that bread!!! With the toasted sesame on top w a little butter had me begging for more. Being our first time here we chose the Italian platter that was insane huge and only $22.99!!!! Full side chicken parm, eggplant parm, one meat ball, one sausage and lasagna. The sauce is top notch for sure as was each bite of each item. My husband prefers a meat lasagna but combined with the meatball he was for sure satisfied. If I had to pick one that item I could do without and that would be the eggplant parm but that's a personal preference. In the end 10/10. Will eat again. And to top the food, the service was outstanding as well.“

I’ve always ordered for the 2 local pizza/sub shops in west Peabody, But the new new owners at Loui’s definitely top any place around me. A short drive down lake st in west Peabody to get there. It is a little tricky leaving but it’s worth it. They also know the spots a little tricky so they will deliver to me in west Peabody. Their new Italian style pizza is outstanding. There portions are huge. There prices are just a little above average but their huge portions way it out. If you haven’t been here yet. Try it out you won’t be disappointed.“
