They were busy when we got there for our reservation, and when our server arrived at our table, we were ready with our whole order, and he was able to quickly pivot and take the whole order and get our night going. “We regularly get takeout here. Affordable prices, decent food, what's not to like? If you can get mediterranean from anywhere else (Falafel King in Boston, Adea's in Salem) then do that instead. But a gem for Beverly nonetheless. I eat here happily. I've never been inside the store, takeout only so I can't speak to that.“

Both the food and service was excellent.Their staff was extremely helpful in putting together the right amount of food for the order and coordinating timely pickup on the day of the event. All the food tasted great, including both meat and vegetarian options. Our favorites were the beef kofta, falafel, and grape leaves.My family and I will certainly be back. Thank you!“

“I accidentally came across Falafel Mom’s location and owner this morning. It wasn’t opened yet and I asked her questions about the menu. Very helpful. I returned after shopping and ordered a falafel lamb wrap to go. While waiting for “made to order wrap” Falafel Mom gave me a spot of hot black Arabic tea. So thoughtful and good. The wrap was absolutely delicious!!! Ya gotta give this eatery a try!“

“We have been going on a very regular basis ever since this wonderful taverna opened. I have never experienced such consistency with food in any restaurant in the area. It is always wonderful, always fresh, the service is excellent, and the staff welcomes you as if you are in their home. I have traveled a great deal in Greece and I must say that the food that we have at Elia is right up there with what we experience when we are out of the country, often even superior to what we have when we are traveling. “I rarely leave reviews, but felt I needed to for our first experience at Ithaki. We dined yesterday, which was Greek Easter. It was also my birthday, so no cooking! lol Made a reservation for 4, but at the last minute, my 92 year old mother felt up to joining us - she hasn't been interested in going out much lately, so we spent the morning with her. We were thrilled, and decided to chance it, hoping they could add a fifth to our reservation. It was crazy busy, but the staff really worked hard to accommodate us, and did so in a very timely manner. We were most grateful. The decor is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was superb, even on this very busy day. They even included red eggs! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.“

“Took my mother there for lunch on Mother’s Day. Everybody loved the food, both Jamaican and Mediterranean options. Had the escoveitch fish and it was excellent, I also tried some of the brown strew which was equally delicious. The owner was also incredibly friendly and told us the story of the restaurant, really fascinating and inspiring. Looking forward to coming back!“
