“Found this good sized local coffee shop and deli on the way through 'downtown' old Boxford. Been back twice already! The Reuben is great! The Mexican Bowl is great too! There a a few good looking selections on the menu and as specials that I have to get back and try. The breakfast and brunch selections all look good. Service and tables are quick and great. Parking is easy in the private lot.”

“It is about time the north shore got quality sushi, We end up in Boston at least once a week at Fuji or Zuma but no more. The fish was exceptional, uber fresh, an amazing assortment ( monkey trout) and very creative. The hamachi toro melted in my mouth. I am a huge fan of this place. To top it off our waitress was phenomenal. Thrilled to have Taku here Pattip”

“I first found Beantrust after moving to the North Shore. Erik, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming and he made me feel right at home! His staff is great too. They make delicious coffee, chai and matchas and the bakery treats are out of this world. The cardamom buns are my favorite! It's such a great addition to the Beverly community.”

This means the beef itself has to be well seasoned without relying on the sauce and Bella's does not disappoint!My husband and I drove from another part of the state to eat here because it's so highly rated on the North Shore Beefs page. “Notch Brewery and Taproom in Salem is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for hanging out with friends enjoying beers and playing games. The brewery offers mostly Czech and German style craft beers, each brewed with care and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new brew or answer any questions. Plus, the spacious taproom provides ample seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Keep in mind that they do not sell beer flights. Overall, Notch Brewery and Taproom is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy some great beer in Salem.”

“This is a horrible place to catch up with out of town friends...Because every amazing bite of the food forces you to silence, to savoring each flavor and spice. You can't think of anything else apart from the taste. Even the crumbs left on the table that I of course didn't stick in my mouth...The care and excitement for the food is admirable, you can tell everything is handmade and thoughtful. I was very lucky to be a guinea pig for one of their menu experiements; maybe it will be called "Toasted Apples Delight" and maybe one day you'll be able to try it too one day. ;)”

“I accidentally came across Falafel Mom’s location and owner this morning. It wasn’t opened yet and I asked her questions about the menu. Very helpful. I returned after shopping and ordered a falafel lamb wrap to go. While waiting for “made to order wrap” Falafel Mom gave me a spot of hot black Arabic tea. So thoughtful and good. The wrap was absolutely delicious!!! Ya gotta give this eatery a try!”

“I rarely leave reviews, but felt I needed to for our first experience at Ithaki. We dined yesterday, which was Greek Easter. It was also my birthday, so no cooking! lol Made a reservation for 4, but at the last minute, my 92 year old mother felt up to joining us - she hasn't been interested in going out much lately, so we spent the morning with her. We were thrilled, and decided to chance it, hoping they could add a fifth to our reservation. It was crazy busy, but the staff really worked hard to accommodate us, and did so in a very timely manner. We were most grateful. The decor is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was superb, even on this very busy day. They even included red eggs! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.”

Two negatives however: music from the speaker near our corner table was much too loud, making it difficult to converse. Wait staff visits table frequently to pick up dishes, making our mealtime and conversation stressed.”
