“Gyu-kaku is the best answer to "Where do you want to go for dinner?" You get your own little grill at the table to cook everything yourself, so much more fun than a standard restaurant. The all-you-can-eat menu is a great value, there is so much to choose from and the food is great! The service is always top notch, especially Jovan! He's the best server and we always request him because he's super friendly and helpful. Gyu-kaku is awesome!“

“Ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and stir fried vegetables. Bowl included a generous amount of teriyaki chicken, moist and succulent thigh meat. Well worth the visit . I will return. Service was friendly and fast. Busy parking lot, but was able to find a spot during a week-day lunch hour.“

“I was craving Pad Thai and saw great reviews for this new Thai restaurant in Lexington and decided to order takeout. I'm so glad that I tried them because everything was delicious. The place is nice and bright and my order was ready on time. I will definitely order from them again!“

“Always great food every visit. The woman that runs the front of the restaurant is extremely kind and always smiling. I've only had a few items on the menu, but say with confidence that the pad thai, crazy noodles, yellow curry and spring rolls are all fantastic. Also recommend trying the thai iced tea, it's a great addition to a meal or just a nice mid day treat. Can't say enough positive things about this small business, glad to see it's been able to survive the pandemic.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: I've brought my daughter here a few years ago and they were so nice to her there.“

“Just got done with my dinner from these folks and all I can say is..WOW!Walked in and my order came out nice and hot and on time. Friendly service for starters.I ordered the rangoons and sweet/sour chicken. My lord it was tasty.I am a cook and really have grown tired of some mediocre establishments in this areaSo many Asian places round these parts use frozen/premade items and you can always tell. It’s time for a change I sayHere it’s all fresh and made from the heart.Rangoons came with a nice dipping sauce that is miles better than the usual fair. The size is just right. Too many places serve overly greasy ones filled with mostly cream cheese. This has all the goods.A healthy dose of chicken came w my other orderAlong with perfectly cooked rice and veggies w the dish. Nice balance of flavors here.Their crispy chicken is so tender and GODLY. No I’m not kidding.I’m new to Thai food, so I’ll certainly be trying their traditional dishes in the future. But I also now have my new comfort order.I believe the prices are more fair for take out considering this is all cooked from scratch. The place is small, yet has a wonderful inviting atmosphere. I’ll certainly have a sit down lunch one day. Will be adding pictures of subsequent orders too!Until next time. Well done to the chef and staff ?“

“If you want standard American Chinese food then order off the lunch special menu. If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu. They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. Szechuan string beans are also really good.“

“I recently moved into the Windsor apartments and live right near Ocean Sushi and I am beyond elated that I get to live so close to this awesome sushi bar. Although it is takeout only, the staff (including Li) is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! I go here at least twice a week since the portions are so generous, the fish is fresh, and the lunch specials are a great value. I would highly recommend checking them out as soon as you can, you will not regret it!“

“I took my dear friend Alla to dinner. She promised me the New Ginza would have great food. Honestly, it was the best Japanese food I ever had! We ordered Avocado salad, volcano Maki, with a fabulous shitaKe mushroom topping and scorpion maki. Fresh food with a wonderful mix of spices. Can't wait to return next time I am in Boston.Andrea“

“Oh my goodness. I'm only halfway done and I feel I MUST rate this place right now! First, be aware of the hours. They are not open all hours of the day. But, wow, the red glazed pork is one of the most wonderfully divine foods I've put in my mouth! So hot, juicy and flavorful. I was offered to taste samples (the host was so very nice) of a few items, I wanted this, tasted this and immediately ordered. Served over a bed of white rice, the juices just soak in and every bite is an intense pleasure. Gosh, I sound hokey and made up. I'm being serious as a heart attack. To top it off, I added optional green beans and those were very delightful, too! Well cooked with a nice snap and awesome buttery flavor, they were the perfect topping to break up the pork nirvana. You can bet I'll be back. The hard part will be trying other dishes instead of just having this over and over.“

“This is my go to sushi spot. If you're looking for a specialty roll, you need to try the sakura. Hands down the best roll I've ever had. The restraunt is extremely clean and warm. The staff are welcoming, and there is often a pianist playing some music.“

“I've been to all the Boston locations and this is my absolute favorite location. My boyfriend and I try to get in once a week when we can. Every time we go the staff are so cute and friendly. We always get the split pot as I am obsessed with the tomato broth and he is obsessed with the spicy broth. The beef is beefin'. We get a minimum of 4 plates of beef to start. So much beefy goodness in those really thin slices. You get a variety of veggies and proteins from the buffet line. When we eat at a different hot pot place I feel like I am betraying happy lamb. This location is the best.“

“I ordered pad thai and rice noodles. Of all the pho restaurants I've tried since coming to Boston, this was the most delicious and friendly. The staff’s delicacy and professionalism gave me a great sense of trust! I was disappointed that the Pad Thai noodles were a bit short, but the seasoning was just right and I ordered it with a fork and was satisfied with both the quantity and taste. The rice noodles also have less MSG flavor, are refreshing, and have quite a lot of meat. It had a clean rice noodle flavor, so it suited my taste ^^“

“Wings and spring rolls were delicious. Best wings I've ever had. No prices on menu, only photos of dishes. Asked ahead of ordering. Overcharged by $12. Mentioned and a portion of charge removed. Too lazy to argue any further. Will go back, but making sure of prices by asking wait staff to write it down.“

“So good. Like going into Chinatown but with parking and good service ?2024 Update: This restaurant has been under new management (I believe it was sold to the previous owners god children) for a while now. Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. It's so fun to watch old dishes that I loved get even better (ex. 3 cup tofu eggplant now has a smokey aspect that I didn't know I was missing) and to see the new owners make their mark. Thanks for bringing your passion, we are so proud of you and I am sure your god parents are too!“

“I just moved to town and have eaten at maybe 5 or 6 places, and this place is far and away my favorite. Best pad thai I've ever had, drinks are really good and cheap, and the atmosphere, at least on a Tues night, is really nice and quiet. Also, I am not sure why it's listed as 30-50, I got a mixed drink, a sushi roll, and pad Thai for <30, and they brought out wonton for free.Really happy with my meal! I look forward to sharing this place with friends.Update: Still my favorite spot.Vegetarian options: Great vegi options.“

“Very nice atmosphere. Service okay but need to ask twice as a reminder. They walk away from the keno machine too often and you miss your game. All the food I ordered was delicious except fried calamari. Looked terrible and smelled fishy. Don't let that sway you from enjoying this resturant. Very nice place and friendly staff.“

“Delicious authentic noodles of all varieties, this restaurant is a hidden gem!! It’s take out only and NOT because of Covid, they simply do not have the workers to attend to the floor. It’s a shame to see negative reviews based solely on that. If you take the time to ask why the owner very kindly explains their struggle, and is very apologetic for the inconvenience. I would hate to see them lose business because they don’t have the help. I strongly recommend this restaurant, it will not disappoint. ^.^“

“Today was my first dining experience with Meet Us. I am so happy to give this restaurant a 5 star. The food was delicious and the owner was pleasant and personable. She made one of the most amazing drinks for me which is not even on the menu. If you come here, which you must, ask her to make a coconut mai tai. You’ll love it.“

“Rating: 4/5 Stars Alright, let's chat about my visit to HoneyHoney Dessert Cafe, a spot known for its Hong Kong-style desserts. I had a hankering for some mango sago, so I decided to give theirs a try. At about $6, it seemed like a decent deal. However, I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed with the quality. The mangos were on the hard side and definitely not ripe enough, which affected the overall taste. To make matters worse, I got my mango sago to-go, and it just seemed a bit frothy and off, to be honest. On the bright side, they do have a variety of affordable dessert options, so I'm willing to give them another shot to try something different. As for the setup, there's seating inside if you're in the mood to dine in. Plus, they've got a convenient kiosk for ordering if you want to skip the cashier line, which is a nice touch. Overall, HoneyHoney Dessert Cafe has potential, but they could step up their game when it comes to the quality of their desserts. I'll probably swing by again to explore other options, but for now, it's just an okay experience. ---------------- My Star Rating Scale: 5 Stars: Blew my mind, had a wow factor, will come back 4 Stars: I liked it but didn't love it, no wow factor, will still come back 3 Stars: It was okay, I didn't hate it but didn't like it either; would not voluntarily come back 2 Stars: I did not like it, I would not come back 1 Star: Absolutely hated it, I would not come back here“

“Tried it while in the area based on Yelp reviews. Got the springs rolls and pan fried dumplings as appetizers. The spring rolls were okay not great. The pan fried dumplings were really good. for entrees we got the Vegetarian Delight, the Basil Chicken with eggplant in Garlic sauce, and Chicken in black bean sauce. The vegetables in the Delight were excellent, the sauce was one of those sort of Chinese American white sauces that I am not really a fan of but was still decent. The Basil chicken dish was quite tasty, really good sauce and the eggplant was really, really good. The chicken in black bean was a simple but excellent dish. The serving dishes might have seemed cool in concept but perhaps had a flaw in actual use because they seemed to have a tendency to easily overflow due to design that has weakness on either end. Simple order at the counter and they bring to your table in the small dining room. Seems to be primarily a take out place but the dining room was clean and the service to the table good. They checked in on us. Bathroom was nice and clean.“

“The food was so good! I wish I took a picture before I ate it all. I tried the jerk pork with rice with djon djon. When I called to ask about food/recommendations, Juan was amazing! He asked if I like spicy and told me about the jerk pork. It was perfect. And he was helpful and nice. I won't order from some places, sad to say, because some are so rude and not helpful when you call an order in. And the staff here was friendly and said hello when I got there to get my food. I'll definitely go there again when I'm in that area.“

“Solid overall, with big, fresh specialty rolls and hot appetizers. But with minor dings: tiny bathroom in the back; repeated server difficulty understanding my requests; and price-points can be hard to track vs the value (quality + quantity). Neat option for this side of town.“

“We went on a Monday evening and didn’t have to wait for a high table. The vibe and atmosphere was really upbeat. Our waitress was prompt. We ordered a crazy maki roll, a happy family(white rice is a choice) and Peking dumplings. Portion sizes were medium. For drinks we ordered a mai tai which was really strong and tasty and a shinjuku which was extremely smooth. It’s a must visit place if you like Asian.“
