“Gyu-kaku is the best answer to "Where do you want to go for dinner?" You get your own little grill at the table to cook everything yourself, so much more fun than a standard restaurant. The all-you-can-eat menu is a great value, there is so much to choose from and the food is great! The service is always top notch, especially Jovan! He's the best server and we always request him because he's super friendly and helpful. Gyu-kaku is awesome!“

“Ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and stir fried vegetables. Bowl included a generous amount of teriyaki chicken, moist and succulent thigh meat. Well worth the visit . I will return. Service was friendly and fast. Busy parking lot, but was able to find a spot during a week-day lunch hour.“

“We hadn't planned on dining here, but I'm so glad we did. The ramen far exceeded our expectations, especially considering its location near campus. I had anticipated overpriced, mediocre food with subpar service, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ramen was rich in flavor and truly satisfying. The real standout was the exceptional service we received from Bryanna. She was incredibly patient and attentive with our group of seven, ensuring we had everything we needed. Thank you, Bryanna, for your outstanding hospitality. Your warm and accommodating service made our experience truly enjoyable. We greatly appreciate it.“

“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!“

“This was an amazing Omasake experience in Lexington. Chef Mike prepares all of the sushi fresh in front of you. He is committed to pushing himself to create unique and different flavors. Definitely the best omakese we've had in the Boston area. Could not recommend more if you want great food with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.“

“The broth was super flavorful. Noodles were very fresh. A little too salty to my liking, but it was overall a very mean bowl of ramen. The service was good! Everyone was polite and got us seated as soon as they could (given the line and no reservations). Interior was so adorable. Loved the art on the walls and pictures for memorabilia. The timeline of how the restaurant and food came to be was embedded in the art and it was super entertaining!“

“The ambience inside was cozy and homey feeling- perfect for an intimate date night or a fun night out with friends. I loved their menu which focus on japanese style small plates. The sesame salad was fresh and had a great portion, fish katsu was slightly dry but the tartar sauce was a good compliment. I found the ribs to be lacking in flavor - basically tasted like barbecue sauce and the meat was not very tender. Liked the mushroom and tofu dish which had a great crunch from the crispy garlic. Service was not exceptionally bad or good. Interested to come back ot see how their daily specials change.“

“What a great experience at Fuki.. the staff was quick, attentive and friendly but not overbearing which made for a very pleasant meal. I decided to try the set menu which for $45 a person was a great deal. I thought the spicy seafood salad was delicious as well as the chefs choice sashimi and rainbow maki. They had plenty of seating and nice low lighting which was relaxing. I will be recommending Fuki to friends and family for years to come. Hats off to the chef, keep up the good rolling.“

“This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The fatty blue fin tuna is like wagyu of tuna (see picture). This type of cut is very rare. The place is not very big, with about 30 seats, so if it’s busy you may need to wait to be seated. Luckily the service is very fast and on-point. The chef (itamae) is super friendly and can create a-la-carte rolls.Super Fusion Sushi is now my favorite sushi place in the Boston area. Two thumbs up!!“

“I lived in Japan for a year, and I haven't found a More authentic sushi restaurant in Boston. I love this place. Single owner who is the sushi chef. Don't expect it to be fast. Don't expect it to be over the top, but do expect it to be authentic and oh so good.“

“Quite simply excellent Asian cuisine. They aren't kidding when they say that your name and face are remembered. One of the waitresses, Sharon, is one fine example of that. She remembers our preferences from visit to visit plus she is friendly and accommodating. Do you enjoy sushi? They have great, fresh sushi just waiting for you to sample! Check this place out. You won't be disappointed!“

“Best Don Katsu (pork cutlet) place I've ever been in Boston! So warm and crispy, with delicious sauce, hearty portion, and quick serving. Price is budget-friendly (considering that it's Boston) relative to the huge pork cutlet, salad, miso soup, and rice that all comes in one. Great for hungry students who need heartwarming meal. :) The server lady was nice and friendly, and the restaurant is small, but they also have tables outside. Uber eats delivery and lunch specials are available as well, so would definitely recommend to others as well as try it again myself next time.“

“They have the best sushi I've ever eaten in any way in Massachusetts I have tried other locations and I'm actually not a big fan of seafood so I like the cooked sushi but I do love their shrimp tempura and they're Nagi Sushi is so good too. Oh you definitely got to try to Alligator sushi too I didn't know it was topped with you but for the first time I ate it it was really delicious. Like I said I'm not a type of person to really eat seafood and I love this place“

“Such a good quaint gem. The broth was perfect - it was so good that we came back for other dishes. The Cha Sui Don was the best I’ve had in a long time! Service was with a smile and efficiency. “I recently moved into the Windsor apartments and live right near Ocean Sushi and I am beyond elated that I get to live so close to this awesome sushi bar. Although it is takeout only, the staff (including Li) is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! I go here at least twice a week since the portions are so generous, the fish is fresh, and the lunch specials are a great value. I would highly recommend checking them out as soon as you can, you will not regret it!“

“Good Thai and Korean dishes served at this restaurant ?. Their menu offers many choices, from Japanese to Thai and Korean dishes. We ordered Thai dishes, and we prefer spicier foods. They didn't disappoint they were very tasty, just enough heat like we prefer ? .Well worth the try ?“

“Service was great and the food came out fast. We got the fried Peking ravioli (lmao, did not know this was a Boston thing), beef chow foon, and beef yaki udon. The raviolis were quite dough-y and the beef in both dishes were cooked too chewy, but otherwise the dishes were just fine. The table next to us shared that they really liked their roast duck dish and angel hair noodles dish.“

“TL;DR: TAKEOUT REVIEW. Everything was so good! Ikura was the starOrdered takeout/delivery on our last night in Boston for our late night snack. We had gone earlier in the day, but their chef's were not doing ala carte orders yet (they had just opened). But the store has a good selection of grab-and-go items from sushi, to drinks, to other merch like soy sauce and snacks.FOOD:~Chef's Sampler (5/5) and Signature Set (5/5): each of these sets came with 5 pieces of nigiri, and they were all so good. Each of them were topped with a unique seasoning/sauce, and they accompanied each of the fish so well!Salmon don (5/5): came with a great assortment of salmon, all of it very fresh (salmon belly was my fave). But the star of this dish to me was the ikura and the cucumbers. SO DELICIOUSGreat quality sushi, great portions, delicious flavors, and affordable prices! Definitely a must visit!“

“Each experience we've had here has been wonderful. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients is high. The staff are friendly, and we especially love that the owner always remembers us and offers us extra kimchi because she knows how much we love it. Wide ranging menu that offers great options for all, including our kids.“
“Hands down, cheapest, highest quality stuff you'll find in the Watertown area, The owner Yoshi is so nice, he literally just handed me an extra piece of fish he was working on one night. Not sure if I came in at the end of the day, or because I spent X amount, but he straight up just gifted me this chunk of Tuna. Amazing owners, I will continue going back as long as I live in Boston.“

“We love it here. The food is so authentic and spicy. It takes your tastebuds to a whole new place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It’s truly a gem here, and the authentic nature here makes you appreciate their culture. Also, the Mai Tai is wonderful and the price is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. The restaurant is huge, and we only had to wait once on Chinese New Year. We get the Spicy Jumbo Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Picked Radish and the Smoked Pork with green pepper. You must give this place a try if you keep an open mind, and truly want authentic cuisine. It’s simply the best! Thank you.“

“Very nice atmosphere. Service okay but need to ask twice as a reminder. They walk away from the keno machine too often and you miss your game. All the food I ordered was delicious except fried calamari. Looked terrible and smelled fishy. Don't let that sway you from enjoying this resturant. Very nice place and friendly staff.“

“Tried it while in the area based on Yelp reviews. Got the springs rolls and pan fried dumplings as appetizers. The spring rolls were okay not great. The pan fried dumplings were really good. for entrees we got the Vegetarian Delight, the Basil Chicken with eggplant in Garlic sauce, and Chicken in black bean sauce. The vegetables in the Delight were excellent, the sauce was one of those sort of Chinese American white sauces that I am not really a fan of but was still decent. The Basil chicken dish was quite tasty, really good sauce and the eggplant was really, really good. The chicken in black bean was a simple but excellent dish. The serving dishes might have seemed cool in concept but perhaps had a flaw in actual use because they seemed to have a tendency to easily overflow due to design that has weakness on either end. Simple order at the counter and they bring to your table in the small dining room. Seems to be primarily a take out place but the dining room was clean and the service to the table good. They checked in on us. Bathroom was nice and clean.“

“Went here with a bunch of family members and we had 2 tables at the Hibachi. We started of with Sushi, got the Patriots roll and the Spicy bad girl roll, if you like Jalapenos than I recommend the spicy one. The chef we had was entertaining which always makes the experience good, we had a mixture of chicken, steak and salmon. They give large portions, the hibachi comes with rice and noodles along with vegetables and some shrimp. If you want to try good Hibachi this is a good one to try, As for drinks they were okay“

“The first time I ordered from here, I didn't like it because I ordered 2 bowls and they had diff portion size and all the toppings weren't there. However, I gave them another chance and since then, this is my go to poke place! Large portions now and the ingredients are fresh. There are chairs and table inside and outside if you want to eat there.“
