“We requested a booth and got one. It was our anniversary, so they gave us champagne and a beautiful dessert to share. Our steaks were outstanding! We ordered the au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach......both so delicious! We had a wonderful waitress named Jessica who was very attentive to our needs, yet gave us plenty of time to sit and relax before bringing out our meal. Excellent all around!!!“

“As always our meal at Dovetail was spot on. I had the snapper and my wife the scallops. Bother dishes were thoughtfully prepared, attractive and very tasty. We've been fans for years and have never been disappointed in our meals at Dovetail or their sister restaurant, Brewers Fork.“

“We came from Chicago to explore Boston. After we visited Bunker Hill, we were looking for a place to hide from the rain. The only place that was close was the "Brewer's Forks". Honestly we were pretty skeptical at first, but we were extremy delighted by the very tasy, delicious food and warm and nice atmosphere. We loved it so much that we decided to stop by the next day again before we went to the airport! We met Jeorge and Kyle who are very professional, polite and nice guys. They helped us choose from their very interesting and outstanding pizza flavors. We have never tried such delicious pizza before. Also the big variety draft beers was very impressive. I would recommend everyone to visit this place. Delicious and authentic food all made fresh at the restaurant, professional stuff and warm atmosphere, everything that you need to feel good!!!“

“When visiting a French restaurant expectations are high. The food tends to be exquisite and some dishes are here. The Foie Gras is amazing and so are all the deserts we tried. However the escargot which is something I always try at French restaurants was only ok.The service varies on who your server is as we had friends who came to the restaurant after we sat and we ordered before they even got their menus and yet they had their appetizers first. When looking for someone to call for a refill and even when we wanted the menus for desert, it is very difficult to catch anyone looking at your table as if each waiter will only look at their own table only. On the bright side they brought us water as soon as we sat and refilled it often. That is how I would get someone's attention...finish my water so someone could come by and I could ask for something.The place is very small and you will have to be a party of two and be lucky to get a table without a reservation, which is what happened with our friends..who came in a little after we sat and were hoping they could sit with us, but with such little space it seemed unlikely they would even be able to get a table but as they were asking a table for two was leaving.Its rather on the expensive side which can be understood with the quality of some of the dishes, however I would except everything to be great for these prices.Its a good place with potential to be great.“

“This was a really good restaurant. Very authentic Italian cuisine. Food was all amazing. Jeff, our waiter was the nicest most cordial man I've ever met has a very sociable personality. He gave us good recommendations on what to order and was very accommodating. You could close your eyes and point to any random dish on this menu and you will NEVER be disappointed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.“

“This was my second visit to prima to celebrate a special event with my daughter on a miserable rainy Thursday night. The restaurant was packed and initially thought we would need to wait an hour for a table . We proceed to the bar where we were seated almost immediately! Darren was our bartender. He was pleasant and attentive. Our food was brought quickly and was absolutely delicious ! Scott the manager introduced himself as a table had become available and I appreciated that personal introduction. After our yummy meal, our bartender surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our special night . I was so impressed!! Again another wonderful experience at Prima!!“

“This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food and service are fantastic. Dan, John & Tony bring it every time - they are the A-Team! Last night we tried the “Meaty” Mushrooms and it was excellent! Mixed Fat Moon mushrooms, miso-roasted gilfeather turnips, herb-butter pan sauce, parsnip puree, crispy onion. I am a lover of wild mushrooms, and this dish is one of the best I’ve had. I love how they use farm fresh foods and change up their menu accordingly.“

“Wow. Wow. Wow. Honestly blew us away. I’m a classic pizza person however, we went for the ramen pizza and I have zero regrets. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Insanely wonderful service. “After cruising around for parking for nearly 30 mins, the bartender was generous enough to allow me to park in their lot in an illegals spot and not have me towed. I had called and he could hear the stress in my voice since the rest of my party had already been seated. Upon walking in late, he immediately came over and poured me a complimentary glass of one of the most delish glasses of French red wine idea ever had. The food and service was top notch. EVERYONE that worked there was incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and just seemlessly working together to ensure we were taken care of. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in years based on the quality of service and creative dishes. 1,000/10 recommend!“

“Pleasant ambiance, nice playlist. The hot waffles are yummy! But get them out of the paper very quickly or you'll be eating some of that paper glued by the sugar... Coffee wasn't "the best" in Boston, but it's smooth. Only issue was (the lack of) the space. It's very small and the few tables were hoarded by people on their laptops...“

“This is a go-to Friday night date place. Comfortably sophisticated decor. We love to sit at the bar. Rebecca is a great mixologist, engaging and fun. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. Always enjoy outstanding service in food. The seafood is amazing - great oysters on special this past visit. We'll be back again.“

“Ok let me be clear this is a very fun little spot. The charcuterie is next level, well sourced selection you’re gonna be hard pressed to find, BUT when we were seated a waiter reached over me at the bar twice to mess with some small glasses, first time fine whatever, second time he dropped the glass in front of me and it shattered absolutely everywhere. There were tiny pieces all over me, he was super apologetic and luckily there was no food in front of me yet, but I’m disappointed nothing further was done about it. He wasn’t our server. Our servers name was Peter, and HE was an absolute delight. I would go there again just to small talk him. He made the experience fun. Will still go again because we dream about the honeycomb and cheeses.“

“Seriously the best Italian food I’ve had yet in Boston, I prefer Ravellos to most places in the North End. Short Rib Ravioli is unreal, food is fairly priced for Boston, and the quality they deliver is unmatched. We live down the street and prefer to come here whenever eating Italian. 15/10 stars for this “

“The owner was very understanding at my confusion about cancellation fees and in the end I was able to come in and enjoy a lovely evening of wine and earl grey mousse (all delicious). I’ve been many times before for fondue and other dessert and have always enjoyed. Thank you Alexandra!“

“What a gem! Super approachable, super service, super variety... it really is super bien! Pop in and grab one of their empanadas when you're waiting for a table in Charles Speedway. Or, sign up for one of their wine tasting classes (wine and hot dogs, anyone?!!). Or cozy up at the bar with your favorite person and try one of their expertly curated wines. Oh -- don't forget to grab a lil something from their ready-to-go deli fridges: flan, salads, all sorts of fresh goodies.There's no bad choice here: you'll have a super bien time :)“

“In-laws are visiting and wanted to eat Italian in the north end. This place was recommended on reddit. We ordered the wild boar ragu, shrimp fra diavlo, veal, and salmon. I want to comment specifically on the shrimp and veal because these are so easy to over cook. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The fra diavlo sauce had the right amount of heat (actually spicy) and was simmered perfectly. My father in law asked for the veal to be cooked medium- and it was perfectly medium. One of my favorite restaurants in the North End so far.“

“Came here with my girlfriend for a quick mid-week dinner and left feeling satisfied and impressed! The eatery is small, and has a dark-cottage like feel. We sat ourselves and were served promptly. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was very juicy and jam-packed with minced pieces of fajita vegetables. It was delicious and cheesy. Every ingredient was very fresh and of good quality. It came with a side of cheesy refried beans, which were incredible! They were so good I'd honestly order them on their own. Wow! My girlfriend reported that her Bahn Mi sandwich was good, but a little on the hotter side. If you're a spice lover like me, though, that is a perk! Overall, we had a great dinner at Shay's and will definitely be back!“

“We haven't been to Alcove in a while because we moved away from the neighborhood. And Boy had we missed it! This visit reminded us why we always loved it so much! We had an incredible evening! “Everything about Limoncello’s is terrific. I started back in the early 2000’s having lunch when visiting family that lives in Chelsea. Then we came this past summer for my son’s 10th birthday. We dined there Friday and Saturday night this past weekend because my son loves it so much. If you haven’t tried it, then get there! It’s the best I’ve had in the North End! Maurizio is a gentleman and his family treated us wonderfully. Chico is a great server and LuLu is quick witted, kind, and BEAUTIFUL! Every staff member was great…especially one person that really made my boy feel special.“

“Came here after a disappointing trip to another wine bar close by. Was greeted by the nicest person who gave us recommendations and suggestions. This person was working alone but was able to check in on us and ask if we had questions. Love the fact you can also buy some of the bottles to take home. You can also get takeout from their parent restaurant next door. Will be back for sure!“

“The Ethiopian food here is excellent and pretty authentic from the other options around!I really love this restaurant but the only concerns are the poor service at times and small portions for the price.More often than not, service is slow and multiple times it has taken over 30-35 minutes to have the smaller dishes and drinks touching the table. But sometimes their service is excellent if the male employee/worker is the server.All in all, this establishment can be described as a real taste of Ethiopia! 4.2/5 stars!“

“Geppetto is tucked away in the center of the Lechmere shopping area. We had a reservation for 6 but were 30 min late due to MBTA struggles; thankfully they were super nice about it. We were seated at an elegant circular table booth. The food came out very quickly (as it was made), so we had a table full of food in no time.A lot of things on the menu looked really good so we just dove in. Overall a lot of the dishes we ordered were quite cheesy/rich, so I much preferred the lighter dishes.Delicious, would get again- Cod cioppino ($38) - The broth for this dish is perfect -- light, savory, and very seafood forward. The cod was also great - flaky and somehow had a crispy crust. I also really enjoyed the bay scallops in the broth. The other seafood (shrimp, mussel, clam) didn't stand out as much, and may have been a bit overcooked. This was a super tasty dish.- Grilled focaccia ($2) - We got one piece of focaccia which came with a small bowl of white truffle bean dip. Wow this was great! The bean dip was delicious -- smooth but not heavy, lovely truffle flavor. The bread was just a vehicle for the bean dip deliciousness.- Beef carpaccio ($20) - I had no idea what to expect, but wow this was delicious! The smoked wagyu beef was very thinly sliced and tasted like a cross between smoked salmon and prosciutto. The toppings were delicious as well, with interesting textural contrast. It's pricey, but worth it.Good, might get again- Porcini lasagna ($26) - I'm a sucker for porcini mushrooms, and they definitely did them justice with this lasagna. There were crispy parts on the top and bottom and delicious compacted layers of mushroom. There was also a lot of cheese surrounding it which I avoided.- Seared brussels sprouts ($10) - Hot and tasty brussels sprouts, who can complain! I appreciated that there was no sweetness in these, as I have come to expect of restaurant brussels sprouts.Meh, wouldn't get again- Pull apart garlic bread ($10) - I was enticed by the concept, but was disappointed by the result. The bread wasn't as fresh/soft as we would've wanted. It was also sitting a pool of cheese, and that was a lot.- Lobster fra diavolo ($32) - I didn't like the seasoning for this pasta. It was overly acidic. The lobster had good flavor but was a bit overcooked. It comes with half of a lobster tail (in the shell) and some cut up claw meat in the pasta sauce. I've definitely had better lobster pastas.We also got the Cosmopolitan ($15), which was fine, nothing special, and the pineapple orange guava sorbetto ($9), which was pretty good (though I wasn't a fan of the candied orange pieces). We also didn't realize that the gelato toppings costed extra ($1 each), because the menu didn't clearly indicate that.Overall, I tried some tasty things here. I think their textures and flavors are generally very good, though many of the things we got were a bit too rich for me. Some of the seafood was also a bit overcooked. I would say the restaurant felt pretty similar to Moeca in terms of price point and types of dishes, but Geppetto food felt heavier on average, and the seafood wasn't as on point. The restaurant has great ambience and service, and some fun dishes that I haven't had elsewhere.“

“Mark & Toni's delivers a legit and excellent take on the classic New York pizza slice - elevated significantly with their coal fired oven. If you order a whole pizza the selection of toppings is comprehensive. But it's their authentic Greek-inspired sandwich and kabob selections that are absolutely off the hook! The house dressing is killer and I love using it to dip the souvlaki or other sandwiches. It's a wonderful local spot for Belmont. But it's totally worth the drive from elsewhere to check out the tremendous food.“

“Lucia is a pretty standard Italian fare; the food and atmosphere are fun. I brought my girlfriend and her parents here to meet them for the first time. The lasagna I had was okay; everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. We had a nice NZ Sav Blanc that I enjoyed for a white. Arguably the best thing we had was the Amaretto cake; moist and warm, and the crème Anglaise was a delicious addition. Lucia wisely avoids pizza on its menu, opting to focus on their pasta and grill menu. I’d like to go back and try the fish, they’ve got a good selection. Valet parking was $27, which was kinda steep, even for the North End. But good luck finding parking elsewhere in the North End.Vegetarian options: Lots of pasta dishes and salads with no meat.“

“My husband and I stopped in for our first time here. There was no wait around 5:15 on a Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan. I opted for a salad instead of pasta. “This place is something else. Very serious Italian food - rich sauces made with fresh ingredients, hand-made pastas, etc — in basically the back of a sub shop / deli in Somerville. We sat in the downstairs area as a family of four and had a great time. Portions so large we took about half of our food home.“

“We had our wedding at Batifol, with ceremony next door at the bakery. It was literally the most amazing experience. The Batifol team was extremely responsive, organized, and executed everything perfectly. The food was amazing - all of our guests said their Salmon and steak were cooked perfectly! And they allowed dietary changes for guests with all different kinds of restrictions (vegan, gluten free allergies). 100% recommend any day of the week. I also love their brunch and dinner menus. And If you want to have an intimate event, their event coordinators are out of this world!!! Thank you all for making out day so perfect!“

“Dear Annie is a cute wine bar where you can try a variety of different wines. If you are going to have more than 1 glass of wine it is definitely worth it to get a bottle price wise than get a couple single glasses. It can get pretty busy since it is a small establishment. They let us stand and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting for a seat to open up which I thought was very nice. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of wine, I enjoyed the wine that was recommended to me. There us no table service - you go to the counter to order which I don’t mind. There is an automatic fee applied to your bill that serves as the tip.“

“Located inside of the casino (must be 21) is Fratelli for sit down table service dinning. I highly recommend trying their beef short ribs or shrimp scampi for an appetizer.If you're around on Mondays they offer Rush Hour special starting at 4pm for a 4 course meal including dessert! A taste testing delight to sample the menu. Portion sizes are just right so you're not stuffed.“

“Lunch with friends was good. Waitress was great. Food was good, 3 friends got the salmon salad which was good tho salad dressing was a bit too sweet. I got "pairing of soup and flatbread which was tasty and just the right size. Convenient Burlington location to meet up.“
