I've been traveling from Haverhill to Newburyport for a good, deli quality bagel for years but now I will be coming here. Big fan. Added bonus is that my personal favorite cream cheese, olive pimento, is available where most local shops have discontinued it. Hooray for Best Bagel!”

“Wow, talk about incredible restaurants. This place is a gem in the rough. When you first walk in, the smell of pizza smacks you in the face. Then you see pizza makers making pizza and using the brick oven, and I can see it baking the pizza to perfection. There is also a huge bar to sit at and enjoy your pizza or drink. You have to check the place out.”

“Celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary at Loretta’s in Newburyport last night. Was seated at a cozy table for two. Our waitress Lorraine was a delight. She was efficient, knowledgeable about the various dishes and there with any extra request for us. The food was just delicious!! We had the crabcake appetizer which were so moist and all crab. I got the chicken dish and my husband got the filet mignon. All cooked to perfection. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Fresh flowers at each table. A perfect date night for us. We even had the crème brûlée and I got the flan .Simply amazing.”

“New Pale Ale might be the best I’ve ever had. Always come here for my preference for lagers and pilsners, but Silvaticus isn’t content to do the same thing forever. Great atmosphere (music is a little loud) and great beer. The addition of a real chef offering food is awesome!”

“For round NY style this is easily the second best in Massachusetts only behind Joanie’s. Thin and crispy with a nice mild char on the crust. Nice cheese blend and a sauce that’s mildly robust and flavorful. Got a side of meatballs and they legit tasted like what my mother made when I was a kid. The 80’s decor and vibe is absolutely awesome. Highly recommended.”
