I had lunch at Kawaii a few weeks ago with a friend and was very impressed with the renovations they had made to the previous restaurant. The server was great and the food was fresh and full of flavor. On Friday, I ordered takeout for our family and the food was delicious. (The owner even carried my order to my car!) Highly recommend Kawaii. Portions are incredible. Recommend trying the Chicken and String Beans and the Hunan Beef. “Amazing sushi. I’ve been going here for years and the quality is always top-notch. It does get very busy, but when it isn’t the atmosphere is calm. The fish tank is pretty cool. The construction of the maki rolls is always great, and to be honest it all tastes amazing. I would recommend the maki named after the surrounding towns, for example the Wellesley roll. The other food is good too - the tempura and beef bibimbap are delicious. Best sushi around.“

We bit the bullet and went there as the pics looked amazing of the food.The atmosphere was peaceful inside, the man behind the counter was the host and was very pleasant as well as down to earth and people oriented. A Koi tank is also in this place to the right of the host area where you wait to be seated. The bar to the left through a corridor and nice and clean, the walks decorated very nicely and tables, chairs, all of the above look beautiful and the instrumental music adds very much to this.
