“the food here was great. the space is a bit more casual and the service wasn't the best. our waitress did not bring us small plates for the appetizer until asked and there were not enough utensils and napkins for everyone. overall it is a great place to eat, but the service made it a bit frustrating.Parking: they have their own parking lot next to the restaurant“

“Enjoyed a fantastic breakfast experience here. We were seated promptly within 5 minutes, despite the bustling atmosphere, and there were no delays in service. The waitress was attentive and amiable, and our orders arrived promptly. All five of us were pleased with both the quality and variety of breakfast options available. We'll certainly return in the future. Note that parking on-site is limited during peak times. Overall, a great way to start our day!“

“First time trying their breakfast, and was quite impressed by the quality. Real eggs instead of foam disks, ridiculously good home fries, and a honey butter chicken biscuit that beats any I've tasted. That's the good part. The bad part is that training is sorely lacking, I had to repeat my simple order ten times before the cashier understood, and even then had to return to the counter six times for forgotten or incorrect items. In the end, I never did get my simple honey butter biscuit, I just gave up and accepted the chicken one instead. They need to either invest in training, or else in kiosks to eliminate the hopelessly lost human element altogether.“

“It was an extraordinary experience! We had such a special evening for 7 of us. Our waitress was amazing and the service was excellent. The chef came to our table to discuss how to prepare a dish for a member of our party with complex allergies and then nocked it out of the park with one of the best meals our niece has ever had at a restaurant. We were seated right on time for a larger party and our drinks and food came quickly. Everybody loved their meals. We highly recommend the Oak Bistro!“

“Large enough to be available even with short lead time. Friendly and skillful service. Patio option was enjoyable in nice weather, and felt spacious. Wide variety of cocktails. Food was tasty but a bit oily for my preference - would love to see more healthy choices on menu. A great neighborhood place to return to.“

“We found this place near our hotel after a long travel day & were so happy the kitchen is open late. We lucked out! The food was delicious, not fancy or pretending to be more than it is, just solidly well prepared, priced, and presented. Staff were friendly and helpful with beer suggestions and tastings...a nice neighborhood vibe. We ended up going back a second time during our stay and had just as yummy a meal.“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“
