“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!“

The brewery offers mostly Czech and German style craft beers, each brewed with care and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new brew or answer any questions. Plus, the spacious taproom provides ample seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Keep in mind that they do not sell beer flights. Overall, Notch Brewery and Taproom is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy some great beer in Salem.“

“Thanks so much for an excellent dinner! The pork with gorgonzola cream sauce was recommended by Madison and I'm so happy I followed her suggestion! Perfectly cooked pork with a rich but not to "blue" cream sauce. Plenty of food for dinner plus the leftovers which will be lunch this weekend! My vegetarian wife ordered the leek and mushroom ravioli and she was in heaven too. Lastly if you are a fan of German Hefeweisen beer, grab the Tucher, prob the best authentic Hefe I've ever had!“

“Lovely view of the lighthouse from the deck.Ordered lunch and a cocktail here - their take on a spicy Moscow Mule was lackluster, it tasted like it was made with ginger ale instead of ginger beer, very syrupy with no ginger kick. Also, no crushed ice, but that's less of an issue. Definitely wouldn't order it again.The pizza was great, though. We ordered one with fried squid, and it was delicious! Good sauce, great calamari, and a crisp thin crust. Hit the spot!We also ordered a plate of steamed mussels, which were fine. Sauce was pretty medium.If I went back, I'd just get the pizza.“

“Took my mother there for lunch on Mother’s Day. Everybody loved the food, both Jamaican and Mediterranean options. Had the escoveitch fish and it was excellent, I also tried some of the brown strew which was equally delicious. The owner was also incredibly friendly and told us the story of the restaurant, really fascinating and inspiring. Looking forward to coming back!“

“The ciders at far from the tree cider house in Salem, Massachusetts were so delicious and refreshing! We had so much fun here enjoying each others company and enjoying a variety of unique and yummy hard apple ciders! We tried the "pocus flight" which of course was named after the Sanderson sisters and binx! Let me tell you this flight was completely on brand and the best hard ciders I have ever had! Our second flight was also incredible and unforgettable! The second flight of ciders included cherry bomb, candy apple, macachusetts, and nova. “If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I absolutely would. It was PERFECT in every way, shape, and form. This goes down as one of my favorite restaurants EVER. After a fun and busy day exploring Salem, my friend and I came here to eat. I started off with a cup of clam chowder. It really hit the spot, especially in the cold weather. It was truly high quality clam chowder. For the main meal, I got the lobster mac and cheese. Y’all. Please listen. This is the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my entire life, and no I’m not exaggerating. It was SO cheesy and SO creamy, I kept eating it until I was beyond full. I’ve never had mac and cheese this incredible before in my life. I went straight to the mac and cheese heavens nonstop. It did something to me I can’t explain. Literally the perfect mac and cheese. I’ll be thinking about it for the rest of my life. My friend ordered the lobster grilled cheese, and she was in love as well. She went straight to the grilled cheese heavens. We were both the most satisfied we have ever been at any restaurant. The lobster pieces in our mac and cheese and grilled cheese were very fresh and tasty. Also, the servers were all incredibly sweet and friendly. Truly wonderful service. If you are in Salem at any point, you must try this place. You need to. No exceptions. I can’t wait to come back in the future and try everything else!!“

“An overall amazing experience eating here! The food was served to us within a reasonable and quick time! And it tasted extremely good! Eating here was well worth it! I had the sushi and scallops and they were large portions and extremely worth their value! Moseline was Wonderful and very attentive to our table!Kid-friendliness: I brought my younger brother and he was so satisfied with the size and taste of the food. He absolutely loved the sushi and fish and chips! Really good experience dining here even with my younger brother. (He is 8)“

“I picked this place out ahead of my trip to Salem because of the reviews and it was even better than I expected! I ordered the Forest Mushroom Pizza and I loved it! It really hit the spot after a 2-hour walking tour. My partner got the Margherita Pizza, which he enjoyed as well. Fast and helpful servers, clean bathroom, nicely decorated. It was a nice surprise. I'd love to come here again.“

“First timer at Longboards, was told 20-30 minute wait, ended up being 40 when multiple small tables for 2 were available.Cheese sticks were a bit greasy but good. I had steak tips over Cesar salad and it was excellent. My gf had fish sandwich with fries. Sandwich was very good, fries thing and not very good at all. Alcoholic beverages were very good.“

“Spitfire is amazing! Their tacos are always delicious and they're very adaptable for kid preferences and food allergies. We often get take out from them, and had them cater a party for us. They were fantastic to work with and the food was amazing! I highly recommend!“

The food was really yummy, I'll come back just for the scallion pancakes but I enjoyed the bao, the sushi, and the fried pickles! We liked everything we ordered, and we came hungry. “Went here once and I really enjoyed it, I'll actually be back! Just wanted to stop in somewhere and get a drink or two, going out is kind of new for me. Sat at the bar, ended up getting a drink called Starry Night (cmon can you blame me! the name is beautiful!), Blue Velvet, and some type of beer that tasted like grapefruit drink that was ordered for me. Blue Velvet was my favorite :) it's in the photo. The bartender was just as sweet as the drink and even shared how the foam was made. All around it was a great time in Salem and it definitely made walking around Salem slightly more fun after getting my buzz on lol“

“My husband and I had a small amount of time to grab some lunch before our next activity and Bonchon got us fed quickly! We have Bonchon in Queens, so this was familiar and hit the spot with it's fried chicken deliciousness - half soy garlic and half spicy. We kindly explained to the server that we had to run out fast and initially asked if the chicken would be cooked fairly quickly. They assured us it would be and they were right. The server was awesome in getting us fed and out the door in time for our next activity. It's also nice to have a bit of home =)“
