“I went out of my way to find this coffee shop and I'm happy I did. I usually go for a pour over but I needed to make a ferry so I went for the drip coffee. Mid-afternoon, this can be a terrible choice when coffee has been sitting around. Not here. The coffee was fresh and delicious. It was a Columbian and you could clearly taste the tea and peach notes. Everyone here was very friendly and I hope to visit again when I'm in the area.“

“Love Daily Harvest cafe! The food and coffee is always fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. My favorite breakfast is the veggie sunrise wrap and the Chloe sandwich for lunch features the most delicious cranberry orange mayo! I love that their breakfast wraps and sandwiches have freshly cooked eggs, not the microwaved patties you sometimes find in other coffee shops. We come here year round, but I especially love DH around the holidays. It's small and cozy, and I always look forward to voting for my favorite gingerbread house while sipping on an eggnog coffee. :)“

“After seeing this lovely bakery on Chronicle I finally made my way there. The location is beautiful because it's on a part of Main Street speckled with homes steeped in history. It's also next to the public library, so perfect to grab a snack while enjoying your book of choice. Upon entering it had a contemporary although very warm feel to it. The selection between savory and sweet was had me purchasing more than anticipated. I just had their goat cheese and spinach quiche for lunch and it was one of the best quiches I've tasted in a long time. The goat cheese was mild and creamy so not to overpower the other flavors. The crust was tender and buttery. I opted for the chocolate covered macaroons and am so happy I did. My family owned a bakery for 54 years. I'm used to being spoiled with the best quality baked goods, which makes me a bit fussy. Their macaroons brought me back to my childhood and were, are absolutely fabulous. I still have the scone and oatmeal raisin cookies to try but if they're anywhere near as good as these other items then I've just found a new favorite place. A must try for the fellow Foodies out there.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to enter from the sidewalk.“

“I went to La Dolce Vita on Friday for my mom's birthday and it was definitely worth the 2 hour drive. I'm originally from Connecticut, I saw them on Instagram and the atmosphere looked so nice and fun I decided to take my mother. From the moment you walk in there's lots of smiles everyone is very friendly and super attentive. They attended us very quickly and when they saw that there was no seating they quickly helped us got us chairs and clean the table off for us they even went as far as helping us with pictures. The atmosphere is great I also loved how they play Christian music in the background making the atmosphere child friendly and also peaceful. Everyone there is so nice and friendly I can't wait to go back again. If you do stop by try their pistachio macaroons they are delicious!“

My husband and I were surprised to see so many cars coming in and out of the sizeable parking lot. Taking it as a good sign, we headed into the beautiful building. The line was long, but worth the wait! We grabbed a beautiful load of herb Parm sourdough, a cinnamon donut, a brioche chocolate mousse roll, ham and cheese croissant, two passion fruit tarts and two coffees. We were looking for a bakeshop near us ever since Bird & Wolf shutdown, and we are thrilled to find this gem that's only 10min away from our home.Only suggestion would be to possibly consider a slightly better system for order fulfillment. “Found this good sized local coffee shop and deli on the way through 'downtown' old Boxford. Been back twice already! The Reuben is great! The Mexican Bowl is great too! There a a few good looking selections on the menu and as specials that I have to get back and try. The breakfast and brunch selections all look good. Service and tables are quick and great. I love nachos and I love BLTs, and it's amazing how many places have managed to not do these two things well. I have never been able to find a place that can make a good BLT, until now!I needed a quick lunch today and went here on a whim because it was close by. I saw they were closing soon, but there were people inside so I headed in. Sometimes small, local coffee shops can feel drafty or unkempt or just lifeless. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I'd want to sit there for hours. The temperature was just right, and the ambiance felt friendly and warm.I acknowledged that they were closing soon and asked if I could still order a sandwich. They replied in a way that felt welcoming, and not like I was imposing on them (which some places, 15 minutes prior to closing, would have). I ordered the BLT and used the restroom while I waited. Even the restroom was pleasant!I sat in one of the two window bays on a comfortable stool (again, perfect! sometimes they're way too high for a 4'10" to get up on, or off), with a complimentary cup of water (I love when cafes have serve yourself water). One of the servers brought my sandwich over and even on first glance I could tell it was going to be good. No wilted lettuce, no weird bread, perfect amount of mayo and bacon. It was the best BLT I've had at a restaurant, even better than I make at home.So, 5 stars for great ambiance, friendly, unrushed service, and a great BLT!
