“Enjoyed our dining experiences here. The service is excellent, the hostess very willing to help us accommodate dietary issues. It's a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it.Parking: Lot is generally full as there are a couple other restaurants here. Look in the back of the lot, you're likely to find a spot there.“

“My husband (Chris) and I started coming here when gas prices sky rocketed. We had always traveled for good Mexican, but said hey what the heck it’s the next town over and it’s been in town for quite some time, why not revisit this place (it had probably pbeen 15 years)? We were instantly hooked. It may not have the same vibe as some of the competition, but what it’s lacks in atmosphere (turn on the music) it makes up for with food, service, and consistency. I typically order enchiladas and an Italian margarita and my husband orders the burrito supreme (always two meals out of it). Our children love everything they have ordered from the fish tacos to the hotdog. The wait staff is always friendly and more often than not accommodations can be made to your order. Oscar’s Piñatas our diamond in the rough we <3 you :) 5*** do not pass this place by!-Rachel L.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love the rubber ducky machine“

“Located across the street from a large church, neighborhood seemed okay, limited parking around, grabbed a spot on main road, thankfully free parking on Sundays and holidays.Place is small, think around 6 tables, service is at the counter, wasn't very busy around 12:30pm on a Sunday. Sadly they were out of the tortas, lengua, horchata, and guacamole.Their quesabirrias and al pastor tacos were excellent. The jamaica drink was good. ood was made on the spot, took about 10 minutes for the quesabirrias to come out.Portions were good, the prices were between 13-16 dollars a dish, so a little bit pricey. The service was friendly and approachable. If I wad in the area again and feeling for tacos I'd return.“

“Hidden gem in Lawrence! Bomb food, I’m obsessed with how they cook their rice. It’s so fluffy and soft; I pour their side of beans over it and I’m in heaven. I had their steak and chorizo tacos but will come back for their chicharron tacos (they were out when I was here). My husband gets the burrito every time and loves it.“

“The dining remains high quality even after the dining room expansion. Service is also friendly and attentive. Evenings tend to be loud, so be prepared. April is still too early for outdoor seating but there are tables and chairs waiting. I found out this visit there is an extensive Mezcal offering.“

“It took me a couple of tries to figure out what I like from Mexica, but now I know and will definitely be a loyal customer. I already liked their chips and queso, guacamole and portion sizes- but I am now a huge fan of their barbacoa and carnitas burrito (had not tried before). A little bit of a hidden gem but certainly not to be missed if you're in the area“
