After two visits in a week, I can say we liked the Golden West Cafe. My preferred meal was brunch (better service and excellent polenta dish) and my husband's lunch because of the tasty burger he ordered. On my second visit, I had the carnitas tacos with sweet potato fries. The latter were thin and crispy, a nice alternative to the heavily garlicked fries. I wish this restaurant was in Atlanta because I would be there all the time! Went for breakfast yesterday and it was so good we went back again for brunch. The food was exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed the zucchini pancakes! Perfect combination of savory and sweet. The High Mesa Polenta was also excellent. Service was great! I tried the vegan bang bang shrimp lettuce wrap, and it was incredibly delicious? and satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I understand why this dish is a favorite among patrons.I look forward to returning to explore more options from their vegan and brunch menu.
