“Roxie is the best! She and her sons were great. They came to our school with their food truck and did an awesome presentation for a project we were doing in 7th grade on food trucks. It was very informative and engaging. The chicken tenders and fries with the Old Bay seasoning were a huge hit with the students.. The pulled pork BBQ was also a huge hit. Highly recommend making a visit to the truck ASAP!“

This is my 5th time eating at Gyu Shige as my last two times were in the Rockville location. It was a busy night but my server was quick and responsive by bringing our requested meat dishes, and explaining their personal favorites for drinks and appetizers. Restaurant setting, in my opinion, has been the same, with conversations left and right --truly withholding the essence of Japanese bbq which is enjoying the fine meats cooked for you but also chatting with friends and family. For anyone who seems to be stuck on the price. You just have to understand that "you get what you pay for" meaning every dime you spend on this meal, the experience and food are definitely worth while. That's all I have to say and I hope other people have the same positive experience I had!“

“We found a Korean restaurant in an unusual location - inside an office building. At first glance, it looked more like a cafe in a hotel rather than a Korean restaurant. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the great taste of the food and the generous portions. The service was also good, and the place was clean and well-maintained.“

“Ok, so I love barbecue. I mean, I really LOVE barbecue, and Mission BBQ is definitely the answer to my craving! I recommend the brisket, Mac n cheese, and corn bread, but the ribs...LAWD THE RIBS are out of this world. The first time I went, I got the 5 bones and the second time the full 10 bone. The meat slides off, is perfectly smoked, and goes perfectly with the Mac n cheese. The service is amazing, the atmosphere friendly, and the flavors will have you coming back for more!“

“Stayed simple and got the brisket sandwich combo with a side of chili. The brisket was a lot dryer/harder than I expected, I wished I got the pulled pork instead. And the chili was honestly average. I tried a bit of the mashed sweet potato side and that was excellent!This place is pretty much self serve, you go up and get the food yourself. And the decor is very country, almost as if it wasn't in the middle of the city.“

“This is a fun place for a celebration! We rented a private karaoke dining room on a weekday evening. The music was fun with a good selection of popular tunes, and the room was the perfect size for a small group - well equipped for both dining and partying. The food was both unique and delicious - we particularly recommend the Qiqihar beef. There was also an excellent selection of cocktails and flavored iced teas. Shout out to our server, Patrick, who took good care of us and had a great singing voice to boot!Kid-friendliness: Not recommended for small children, as the karaoke screens would often auto-play songs with less-than-optimal lyrics.“

“We are from Buffalo NY down here on vacation. The host was absolutely amazing we sat at a high top by the bar and he came over and offered to move us to a bigger table so we had more room!! The bartender was our server and he was so attentive and on top of everything. They had a large school party that had about 50 people in it and they did not let that slow them down at all. At the end of that party we ended up speaking with one of the owners and he was so nice! We ended up finding out the host had family from where we are from and that was awesome! The food was amazing, portions were huge! Moral of the story the whole staff was amazing the food came out with perfect timing even with the huge party. Pricing, food, friendliness all worth it here they were amazing“

The owner, Michael, and his entire staff are incredibly professional & provide wonderful services. Everyone at our wedding commented on how amazing our cocktail hour & reception food was! Not a single item on the menu was anything less than delicious. Michael welcomed my husband & I in for a tasting early in the process which was equally delightful -- himself & his staff were again so kind & professional. Every little change that came up during the planning process leading up to wedding day was quickly included & noted by Michael & team. I've been looking for a restaurant with good seolleongtang and this place fits the bill. The soondobu was adequately spicy and delicious. One thing to note is the egg is $1.50 extra. The vegetarian pancake was crisp, not too oily, and along with the sauce it was delicious.Highly recommend this place. It's reasonably priced (paid maybe $35 for the meal) and the food was amazing. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.“

The Pricing is one of the Best for Korean BBQ.They serve small portions of kimchi stew and Dan Jang stew and its awesome. I have lived in Rockville for a long time and VERY SATISFIED with food , service and generous price.We order 2 orders of beef brisket and they also provide tons of side dishes. I really love the 2 salads they provide with any meat order.1 order of beef brisket to grill on your table is $16.00 per oder.You will not be disappointed as this is my go-to spot for any casual dining and non burdensome“

“Went here for Mother's Day brunch. Now usually Mother's Day brunches are a hassle for the restaurant, and a disappointment to the customer (at least in my experience), but The Falls knocked it outta the park! This was actually our 2nd time dining here as we had a very nice dinner there awhile back and thought we'd return. They had a special Mother's Day menu that included prime rib, and I really dig the unlimited small plate concept. Everybody got to order what they wanted, and everyone got to share a bite or two. The mimosa kit was very fun and at the end they gave my wife a special cookie treat to take home. The food was excellent, but our server was even better. His name was Nelson, and he was awesome. I mean, he never missed a beat and when we were done with the first round of dishes he was immediately there to see if we wanted more. He made some great suggestions and was a total pro. Can't wait to return!“

“This restaurant introduced hot pot earlier this year. Current lunch special is AYCE hot pot and skewers for $35. The meats are quality and you have over 5 skewers to choose from. Some speciality items include snow crab legs, scallops and hot chili wontons. These items are usually add ons at other restaurants and sometimes cost a lot more. My friends got the Tom Yum and I got the pork broths. Broths were rich in flavor and we ordered multiple rounds of the skewers.I love the high ceilings and how the dining tables are set up. You get a grilling station in the middle that is constantly moving. Each diner gets their own hot pot and the seats were really comfy. The sauce stations are covered and there are plenty of instructions on how to make your favorite sauces. Save room for the vanilla ice cream as well. Service here was on point. I feel like we had +3 servers at all times. You order on your phone and food comes out really quickly. You can't go any where in the area to get quality meats and hot pot at value. Fun place to try different types of seafood, meats and vegetables.“

“Seated quickly at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. Menus brought and ice water. We ordered and they brought warm fresh pita bread and Israeli salads to share. I ordered a rib eye medium done and it came out well done. Had to return it and when the new one came out it was rare. No happy medium. Green beans were delicious. Wife ordered Jerusalem mix with rice which was good. Service was slow, took a long time to get refills on water and more salads! Asked for a to go box and waitress never brought it, I went to the kitchen to ask for one. Food is good but slow service!“

“Best bbq in the DMV (and maybe Richmond too). The new summer menu is so fun and delicious. I had the deviled egg salad sandwich and it was a perfect size. Also had the fried pickles and they were the best I've ever had. Usually fried pickles are too greasy or wet but these were amazing. And the sauce served with it was such a good complement. And they've converted me to a coleslaw fan.“
