“Lots and lots of food options (don’t forget to look at their Menu Specials, separate from their regular menu). Loved that their menu was marked for dietary restrictions (I.e., GF) so we did not have to ask additional on how the dish was prepared. The server was very attentive and all dishes came out fast and fresh. “I can not describe how much this orange chicken saved my day! It had been a long day and since it was late there weren’t many options. However, I called Bite of Asia 10 minutes before they closed and they were still able to make me an amazing meal in 6 minutes. Truly amazing! Also the gentleman at the front was so kind and welcoming!!“

“This wonderful, peaceful nook has my favorite California Roll in the area: Thin outer layer of rice; and a generous, finely slivered crab mix with fresh avocado. Every component tastes and feels very fresh. The wasabi, ginger, rice, everything! Sushi is pretty "simple"; ergo if one aspect is mediocre, the dish will be ... unspecial. The CA Roll here comes generously sprinkled with those tiny, bright orange roe that pop in your mouth with a faint but welcome added bonus of fresh fish. Every time I have ever ordered this, the freshness, presentation, size (generous on filling, so if you like a low carb diet but are craving sushi, this is your spot. The CA Roll is typically 85-90% filling.) They have a lunch special on prices between 11am-3pm, M-F, with excellent prices on select sushi and bentos. I honestly love their CA Rolls. (I have also greatly enjoyed their tempura meals. The dilping sauce is a traditional thin, broth-like consistency. (I personally favor savory over sweet, and the tempura sauce here is mildly sweet. I suspect that folks in the Mid-Atlantic used to Southern cooking may like the slight sweetness more than I do, but ot is mild and enjoyable. I am from Hawaii and grew up making tempura witg my mom at home.) They make wonderful tempura. The batter is light and crisp! (Not like the heavy, greasy dough that mortified me from a well-received other Japanese eaterie in my county here.). Maki Bar has fresh, delicious, very tastefully seasoned sushi. So Happy every visit for over 5 years now.“

“Absolutely loved it! The rolls are delicious and perfectly done. I got California Roll, Spicy Shrimp Roll and Eel Avocado Roll; the atmosphere is so calm and clean. I was hesitant to try but it’s a most, I may have found my new fav sushi place.“

“My wife and I went to Hanaro during lunch time, but it was only for takeout. There were some crumbs on the floor and some dust by the waiting area, but the store was fairly clean. The price of the sushi is reasonable and the taste and flavor of the sushi is of the highest quality. I am giving this restaurant a four-star rating because the taste of the sushi was truly exceptional and of the highest quality. Despite some minor cleanliness issues, the reasonable price and outstanding flavor make Hanaro a great choice for sushi lovers.“
