“Visiting from Denver for a work conference and stumbled upon this gem on Google Maps. It’s located on top of a CVS so didn’t know what to expect. We were BLOWN AWAY with the Kobe dish on a leaf and the shrimp/scallops were just next level. We had to order a second Kobe beef!! The NC Bluefin Tuna special was awesome too!! So glad we took the risk and remember to never judge a book by it’s cover!! That’s for damn sure.“

“Takumi is a cute and cozy restaurant in Falls Church City. It has a sushi bar and a relatively small dining room. It is quite popular and may not be the best option for large parties. The sushi is fresh and generally better when you come for dinner. Its lunch menu offers many great options at reasonable prices. My favorite is its sushi/sashimi bento box for lunch.“

“We had dinner here for the first time on Thursday night, and it was such a treat. Service was amazing. Cocktails were fabulous. Food was good. And the overall ambience was so lovely. “This place is an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 but it's better than the sun of its parts. We ordered a good selection of food and it was all good. The ambiance was good, chill, the service was prompt and attentive. Presentation was immaculate. The fish was really spectacular and tasted great. Soft, beautifully sliced, and no sticky slimy to be felt. Can especially recommend the white Flint roll, very creative blend of flavors and textures. The only complaint is that the nigiri construction could be better. It was too little rice to the point where the fish to rice ratio felt skewed and the necessary support under the fish was not present. There was also no adhesion of fish to rice, leading to the nigiri falling apart often. Maybe a small dab of wasabi or slightly stickier rice will remedy the problem. Still a great sushi restaurant and worth a visit.“

“I went here with my friends so I could try the Japanese BBQ and It was An amazing Experience!! Food was Great and Raven Really Gave us a 5 ? service! She suggested me to try the a Pineaple drink and It was one of the best drink I had! “Fantastic sushi tucked away in an unassuming strip mall. I’ve been a couple times because there are so many appealing sushi rolls and they have all been fantastic. The fish is fresh, the proportions are good. I’d avoid the cocktails, they are underwhelming. They can be slow when busy but that should be expected when sushi is being made to order.“

“TL;DR: Toro is where it's at Came here close to the end of lunch time and was able to snag a seat. Interior is small and minimally decorated, but very cute. Service is very fast and friendly. FOOD: ~Toro Sashimi (5/5): they let the product speak for itself. Very good ~Chirashi Deluxe (3.9/5): I love the variety of fish they give. Flavor/quality varies depending on the fish. I LOVED the mushrooms that came with this, I thought about asking for a bowl of it. Favorite fish we liked from here were: toro, crab stick (surprisingly), and white tuna. ~Eel and avocado roll (3.5/5): basic ~CA uni (4/5): yummy and fresh ~Hamachi (3/5): mid quality and flavor ~Scallop (3/5): again, not up to par ~Saba (2.5/5): didn't have that pungent flavor that mackerel usually has ~Aburi salmon (2.5/5): was over charred and couldn't taste anything but bitterness Overall, if we stick to the main things we liked, this place would easily be a 5/5. But if you want a variety of things every time you visit, then you MIGHT be disappointed.“

The food was so delicious that I cancelled my back up restaurant and ordered one of the same dishes that I really enjoy. The ch'kn cauliflower was one of my favorites. So much flavor and very crispy, the ch'kn bao was also amazing. Highly recommend!“

“This was our second time at Yume. We came back with anticipation for another great sushi experience. Their seafood is super fresh and the combinations of flavors are so innovative. Service is always warm and efficient. Unfortunately, some of the rolls were over sauced with a heavy mayo component. Thus overwhelming the roll itself and destroying the nuanced flavors they do so well. I will try again, and request they “dot” the mayo sauce only.“

“This place is TERRIFIC!! Small and easy to miss on a corner shopping lot, but not to be missed. The crispy tuna appetizer is out of this world and the specialty rolls I've had are also terrific. “Stopped by with some friends while in the area. It appears to be a new building and Thai restaurant. Service was quick and solid, although the dishes didn't come out together. While some dishes take longer and some shorter, the timing needs work. The dishes were flavorful and delicious though. Portions were good too.“

“Our visit to Zeppelin was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with the most exceptional hospitality by Ari and the rest of the staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind, paying tribute to the Golden Age of the Great Passenger Airships. But the real standout of our experience was the food. It was absolutely divine. We began our meal with the Edamame and Miso Soup, both of which were the perfect starters and set the stage for the rest of the meal. The Seaweed Salad and Cucumber Sunomono were also refreshing and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we decided to indulge in a variety of dishes from the KushiYaki (Japanese Charcoal Grill) menu. The Ebi Shumai and Beef Harumaki were both cooked to perfection, while the Takoyaki was a fun and tasty snack. But the standout dish was the Okonomiyaki, with its tempura, red ginger, okonomiyaki sauce, and mayo creating a truly unique and flavor-packed experience. From the sushi bar, we sampled a variety of rolls including the Negitoro Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Rainbow Roll. Each one was expertly crafted and perfectly balanced in flavor. We also tried the Sashimi Sampler, which was a fantastic way to try a range of different fish. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the Green Tea Ice Cream, which was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note. Our experience at Zeppelin was truly extraordinary! “Came on a whim one Friday night at 6:30, fully anticipating to have to wait an hour plus, being that it was a beautiful 70 degree day. When I arrived the host was very kind and explained that I was 5th in line. She explained that it would probably be only a wait of 25-30 min which considering the size of the place is small, I was happy to hear! She even offered me plum tea while I waited :)Few notes: there are no reservations, it’s first come first serve! There are only 4-5 single seaters at the bar and then about 6-7 tables on the other side (check photos) - so with that just be patient!I haven’t had conveyer sushi in like 15 years since college… so my expectations of the quality were much lower. I have to say, I was very impressed with the quality of the fish and selections of the nigiri ! My absolute top favorite was the scallop (cheese garlic scallop). I know that this sounds very American and strange but had I not read the menu later on, I’d never have known it was called this. I’m not even sure where it gets the name from but the scallop is seared and melts in your mouth - and the garlic sauce is light and compliments the scallop so well!! The beef nigiri pictured was cooked to perfection and my boyfriend’s top pick was the eel. The selection was vast in my opinion and there is an iPad at the table that allows you to also select anything you do not see on the conveyor belt. This is how we ordered the beef nigiri - so it has just been cooked! Truly I was very happy with every single roll I had - the rice was cooked perfect (not mushy or stale or anything weird like some reviewers mentioned) and the fish on top was always very good quality ?I read some of the “bad reviews” that complain about how the service was “awkward” or “weird” but in my experience every one who worked there was very warm , not overbearing, and very very regularly checked to make sure we were doing okay! Having the iPad did NOT make anything impersonal, in fact it was an extremely efficient system in which we didn’t have to eye down or flag down anyone and they brought each item within 5 min of ordering (and it’s extremely easy to navigate). This allows the servers in my opinion to be happy, not be overwhelmed and engage with us as customers. Even when I was finishing she insisted I not rush and was having conversation and jokes with us!I almost didn’t want to write a review bc I want to keep this a low key, lesser known spot, but I have to give credit where it’s deserved ! I’ll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation ;)“

“It's a small sushi restaurant on a busy street but there's a public parking garage a couple of feet away. The workers/owners? were nice and quick with service. Even offered recommendations. Not sure if they get a lot of dine-in customers because my friend and I were the only ones there around 6pm. At the end of our meal the server gave us a small plate of fruit, yum! I would definitely go back for a second round.“

I took it to Clara Barton’s house in case it wasn’t good and I needed a nurse, but it turns out not only is she not here right now, but the sushi was excellent.“

Both dishes gave a ton of food and was definitely worth the price, especially considering the quality. Took a little bit for our group to get our orders in but other than that the service was flawless and speedy.“

“I never have this a fried calamari in some where else. Only Sumo thai served 2 different sauces for it.It makes this dish pop up and so yummy until a last bite. All sushi is very good quality and rice wrapping is very thin. Mango sticky rice is nice presentation in a heart shaped. We will be back again. ??“
