“Came here for a family birthday dinner on a Saturday evening, did not disappoint! Since it was the weekend, it was definitely busy. We made a reservation a few days prior, so I do recommend making a reservation for the weekend (not sure how busy it gets during the weekday but I assume it would still be popular!) Our server was super attentive as well as the other servers walking around throughout our meal. He offered us recommendations and was very detailed and kind. He also mentioned that there are items that can be made Gluten Free but to not assume that the GF label means that it is gluten free by nature. We started with the calamari which tasted fresh and delicious! Always one of our go-to appetizers at any restaurant that offers it. For our mains, we ordered an assortment of entrees--pasta, paella, grilled salmon, and the ribeye steak. They were super accommodating to requests/substitutions as well (sub veggies for mashed potatoes, etc). Everything was so yum - nothing tasted lukewarm despite everything coming out around the same time. Nothing was bland - flavors were all prominent without being overbearing. The steaks were cooked according to temperature preferences and the salmon was not dry at all! The only reason why I docked a star is because of how loud it gets, making it a little difficult to have conversation with the table and also flag down our server who was super busy. It's also a little on the darker side (think borderline cheesecake factory level) so just beware for those who may have people in their party who cannot see well in dim lighting. Will definitely be back in the future :)“

“Wonderful experience. We loved our waiter, Gabe. My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. He told us congratulations and offered us each a complimentary glass of champagne right off the bat. We soon had warm bread brought to our table and then we ordered cocktails and two appetizers. All delicious. Baked brie was phenomenal. My husband had the filet mignon & I ordered a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. After we were nearly stuffed, Gabe offered us a complimentary dessert to share. Overall an amazing experience. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!“

“I stopped by for a quick lunch on sunday. Was in and out in less than 40 minutes. Asia was my server, very friendly and made sure I was taken care of quickly. The new Champagne Shrimp option was extra good that day.“

“Went in on a whim, Mother wanted a crab cake. Decided to eat in their small back seating area which was actually quite nice. Service was good and we are told they are under new management. Some changes in store to modernize and expand the place and a new menu to come. Hope they succeed in bringing this place around to being a “must try” type restaurant. Few places actually have decent crab cakes and this one does! Pleasantly surprised and glad we stumbled in. Good luck to the new owners!“

“I was working in the area and Tandoor Spice was 1.5 miles from my last stop. I discovered it by other good reviews so tried ordering on my phone so I could pick it up. When it came to submit there was a little spinning circle and it continued until I arrived in the parking lot. I went inside and the nice gentleman apologized, checked the system and when he couldn’t see the order hung up in the system, he took my order right away. I ordered Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. For the inconvenience he threw in a complimentary dessert. Got to the hotel and had a very good meal. More than I could eat in one sitting. Medium spice was perfect for me.“

“Awesome! Beautifully decorated and especially loved the sheltered outdoor space. Amazing food - we were a birthday party of four and tried to order everything we could, but there were just too many desirable dishes; and everything we did order was delicious (except I wouldn't waste room on branzino when there are so many other precious options, although other people love it). The service was exceptional as well, super attentive and super patient, the leftovers magically packed instead of having to do it ourselves, just top notch all around. Though it's a bit of a hike for us, really look forward to the next time!“

“Our excellent waiter, Armani, told us that the sea bass entree was very good, and that's what I ordered. He was right - it was delicious on a bed of wild rice and green beans. I ordered a side of sweet potato and potato soup the start. My glass of Australian Malbec was the perfect accompaniment. “This has become my new ritual when I drive from NJ to DC and back. I have to stop at Nick's for a dozen of the best crabs anywhere. The crabs are fresh, steamed and spiced to perfection, and served with great customer service. We are never going back to the pirates at the DC Wharf again. Nick's is a real jem.“

“I have always only gotten crabs at j and t seafood but they were closed so I decided try this place based on reviews. I ordered 2 dozen large steamed crabs for 7:00 pm, Saturday night. Got there at 6:55 and was greeted by Nelbis (I hope I spelled his name right). Very friendly, food was already packed to go steaming hot, and when I got home, every crab was large and the seasoning was just right, not too salty and not too little. Definitely coming back here again!“

“I took the route of depending on the reviews to sway me to try this establishment. I’m glad I did! As the reviews said, the grabs were juicy and flavorful. Wait time was about normal for crabs being 20-30 mins, especially when they are super busy and have orders back to back.The young lady at the front taking and giving out orders was very nice. She has a strenuous job and she does it with ease. I’ve been looking for a crab place in my area since I moved here about 7 months ago and I’m glad I came across this gem. I will surely be ordering from them again.I did have to go in and place my order because the phone gave a busy tone each time I tried to call. I meant to ask and make sure I had the right number, but I will do that next time. Since the wait time wasn’t long it wasn’t a big issue.“

“3.9.24 They may be the best Japanese steakhouse I've been to. They are located in Montpelier Center. Unlike other Japanese restaurants I've been to, they have just a main room with an open layout for the hibachi. There is also a bar and sushi counter. There were 14 people in my party. My friend made reservations for 6:30. Upon arrival, we were informed there was a mistake with our reservations. We needed two tables so the girl's table was seated after approximately an hour wait. The boy's table took about 1.5 hours. The guys sat at the bar and ordered drinks while they waited. I ordered the Hibachi Sirloin Steak and Scallops with fried rice and Garlic Shrimp for my appetizer. Everything was flavorful. My favorites were the garlic shrimp which I've never had before and the steak as it was tender and not chewy. Service seemed a bit slow, but our server was attentive. Because of the mishap with our reservations, they comped the boys for a round of sake. Definitely enjoyed the yummy food and highly recommend it! Just make sure to confirm reservations and ask for a name.“

“Surprisingly good sushi hole-in-the-wall, very reminiscent of little shops near Ueno or Akihabara. Great service! The rice is prepared a bit on the mild side but the freshness makes up for it. The chef's choice nigiri was perfect and the California roll had buttery avocado. The miso soup needs attention-- tofu in hot water ain't cutting it.Vegetarian options: Some non-fish options.“

“This was our first time eating at your place. You can’t even recognize the Old Clyde’s Restaurant and the open, bright design is a huge improvement. We got the halibut special tonight. The presentation was terrific and both of us were very impressed with how tasty everything was. Our server was professional and attentive. The one major disappointment was paying $6 for an assortment of rolls and the bread came out and they were all the same and honestly not very fresh. I would also suggest that you add a side salad as an option. We will definitely go back again.“

The chicken wings were good (I cannot think of the flavor we had). I did not care for the chicken cheesesteak, it was something about the meat. “This place is awesome (only downside is that it's on the spendy side). The interior is modern hot pot fare with booth seating, sauce bar, and burners built into the tables. They also have robots that bring out some of the speciality items. Service is quick and efficient without being too pushy and all the food was fresh and came out at the right temperature. “Just want there to grab a quick lunch. Never tried the castfish before so ordered it and it was quite good. It comes with 2 fillets of catfish which are quite big in my opinion, 2 slices of toasted bread, fries and drink of your choice.The prices are also resonable.Had to go there the following day for another lunch. You only need to wait for 5 to 10 depending on what your order is. One thing, the shop is inside the gas station, so there aren't any table. You can wait for your order either 'inside the store or in your car. If you like fish, you should try this shop. Recommended it.“

“This family owned business has the best steamed crab. I got crabs twice in a week. They were so fresh and good. One of the sons waited on me both times. I was going to eat my crabs in the park. “Finally had enough food from here to give it a review. Usually get the fried chicken, which is always on point. Tastes like a grandmother made it with love, and is always consistently good. Have had the fish and that’s good, and they give you a lot for the money. Decided to try the turkey wings yesterday and that’s what made me finally decide to write a review. They were seasoned and tender and had the southern homemade taste I was looking for. All in all, I have to say that Mr Bobby’s is where it’s at.“

“I had a seafood boil delivered from Gnam Gnam last night and everything was amazing ! I got the shrimp, Dungeness crab, Maryland crab and it came with sausage, potatoes and corn. The masala sauce was delicious and the bag was so filling it was enough for at least 4 ppl to share. The price was so good I couldn’t believe we got so much food. Also I can tell from putting my order in that the owner/chef was very customer oriented. He added supplies that made clean up very simple. I will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“I came across this place on a humble and I'm so glad I did. The most affordable, no frills and tasty seafood I ever did have. I went with the shrimp tray that consists of shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. I subbed egg for the sausage and went with the honey garlic sauce and it was chef's kiss. I was so satisfied I ordered from them again but switched it up. Second time around I went with fried (6) shrimp combo and raven wings (4). That order was not pleasing to me at all. No tartar or cocktail sauce for shrimp. The shrimp and wings were not crispy. I don't know if it was an off day for them but I wasn't feeling the fried food option. I will stick to the shrimp tray because again it was delicious and priced right“

“First time here -- on a Sunday evening. We wanted to use the elevator but couldn't find it so we did the stairs. Very nice place -- not too many people there on a Sunday evening. We were seated in a dining room that was large and cavernous, so the sound carries. The service was very good. A new waiter by the name of Earl who told us it was only his fourth shift, but he was friendly, great, and attentive. The food that we ordered was amazing. The calamari and the crab dip were very good, but the main dishes were excellent (spaghetti and meatballs, ribeye steak and the filets wrapped in bacon). The steaks were cooked to order and side dishes were great, too. My granddaughter ordered the Cinnamon Bun Bread pudding and it was sooooo good. We will definitely be coming back here since we don't live very far away.“
