“The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. I went for an early Mother's Day dinner on a Saturday night and there were people at the bar having their own good time, but the space is set up well and it didn't impede on our dinner. Great for any vibe“

“The craft cocktails and mocktails are good. The sweet cream butter that came with the bread service was delicious. The baked alaska was outstanding! But overall the flavors of the dishes are quite muted, relative to their cocktails. I think I might have been better able to taste the food if I'd just stuck with water. Our server was phenomenal, though, and the environment was so elegant. If I were to go again, it would be for the drinks and desserts with good company.“

Stand outs were the cumin lamb, the quail (surprisingly, I wouldn't have ordered that but ended up loving it), and the wagyu stuffed leaves (I could eat these every day!). “This was my first visit, a suggestion from my sister. I started with the crab hush puppies (delicious!). As an entree, I chose the creole shrimp fettuccini (very good). My server (Amy-excellent!) was attentive and engaging, which enhanced my overall experience. The whole atmosphere had a vibe that was very inclusive and fun. I will definitely return.“

“Saw a description on the website and wanted to try it. Got the ceviche vuelve a la vida as an appetizer. It was a meal in itself and so amazing. The citrus was perfect along with the spices. “Best French restaurant in DC. The prices are spot on for the food, and to be honest the quality is higher. The service and staff are beyond incredible and accommodating.Get the crab fries. Next time I’m doing the seafood tower too. I didn’t take photos of everything, but it was all fantastic. The deviled eggs, yum! Crunchy, full of flavor, and one order is not enough and the bacon was perfectly crispy and not too salty on it.I was set on the short ribs, because French food is all about the sauce and proper temperatures, but I went for the burger. I was not disappointed. It was a smash style burger and cooked perfect. The dressing on it and pickles balanced it nicely. My friend did the cobb salad with salmon.We both had two glasses of wine, and the house wines are actually good here. I can't believe I'm typing that, but they did a great job selecting them. Skip the trendy French bistros and restaurants and head to Parlour Victoria. You won't be disappointed.Came back two weeks later and it is still amazing. Love this place.“

“JC has the best crabs! I’ve been eating crabs from JCs for over 4 years now and they haven’t let me down! Cindy is so kind and personable, she’s very knowledgeable about the crabs and sizes. I’ve got to know her mom as well and their very kind people! I usually get extra large or jumbo crabs, their delicious corn, their sweet tea and brown paper roll as my regular order and I have been let down! Thanks for always providing great service to my self and everyone I refer!“

“Don’t let Atxondo’s modest looks deceive you. I was skeptical but some friends wanted to try this place so I went along. I was very pleasantly surprised. We ate vegetarian and everything was excellent. I can recommend the brussel sprouts, tortilla española, crispy potatoes, coliflor, golden beets, fried shishitos, and risotto. “Hank’s is always consistent if not a bit pricey. They always have a decent selection of oysters with some yummy specials. I especially love the goldfish on the table at the beginning of the meal and dark chocolate at the end. Wine list and cocktail list just got a nice revamp, and the tried and true standards like their shrimp po-boy, clam chowder, and chicken schnitzel remain faves. I do, however, still wish everything was about 2-4$ less as it feels premium for a neighborhood joint.“

“I have ordered from Mid-Atlantic Seafood on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The Whiting dinner is excellent; the fish is always fresh and crispy and the portions are very substantial. I get the candied yams and home fried potatoes as sides and am always full and happy. The prices are very reasonable and the menu offers a lot to choose from. Great choice for lunch or dinner.“
