“We have often eaten at the home base of Fresh Out The Kitchen, aka Naila's, on York Road, but today we're on the west side of town and were happy to learn about the new carryout location in Milford Mill. We started with tasty and lightly fried eggrolls filled with chicken and vegetables and served with a green sauce. We tried four different lunch platters. The traditional Senegalese Fish Yassa was accompanied by lemon, mustard, and onion sauce, sauteed, and served with white rice. The flavorful grilled Dibi Lamb Shoulder slices came with sautéed onion and alloco/plantain. In fact, three of us got an extra side of the perfectly fried Alloco and hot pepper sauce. Poisson Braise was a whole grilled tilapia that came with seasoned rice. Finally, the Poulet Braise, a Grilled Marinated Half Chicken, came with couscous. For drinks, we got Bouye, a Baobab and French Vanilla concoction, Gingembre (Ginger and Pinapeapple), and Bissap (the red sorrel drink). These went well with the spicy meals. Overall, we were pleased that the quality, portions, and tastes of thus new location matched or even surpassed the original restaurant. The staff were most accommodating and the service was excellent. Parking at the little shopping strip is plentiful. We will definitely stop by again.“

“Food was satisfying and the service was great! They were generous and were able to help people with their orders. They even offered utensils or sauces when they completed your order. Most restaurants don't do that unless you ask them...Other than that, a 4-star from me!“

“Wow is not enough to describe Linwoods. Starting from the ambiance of the interior with the kitchen open to the floor and the comfortable seating you know you are in a Fine Dining location. Dress states Business Casual but this spot screams Dress Up and prepare to be taken on a culinary experience like no other. Tempura Lobster Tail started is melt in your mouth. Sea Bass with Lump Crab and horseradish mashed potatoes was beyond words. The Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch brought tears to my eyes. Delicious !! I can't leave out the drinks. The specialty drink list is extensive and the wine list is from Bubbly to Bordeaux. Bravo to the Mixologist. The service is steller and a level that is not commonly seen. Our server Ammi was spot on , I highly recommend him. Truly a food experience and you must experience Linwoods.“

“The Elkridge Furnace Inn has a lovely historic ambience and provides a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The wait staff was exceptional and extremely attentive. It's always such a pleasure and privilege to have the owner, Chef Dan, visit each table/guest to inquire about their experience and discuss the cuisine. As always, the food was extraordinary with flavors blending well and highlighting seasonal produce sourced locally. We were truly delighted with our experience and will continue us to return for our next encounter with Chef Dan's unique cuisine.“

“My friend has been going here weekly for 9 years, and in 8 years of friendship they finally shared this little gem with me. The owners were so incredibly sweet and the food was absolutely amazing! I had a build your own cheese steak sub and while we waited for our food they brought us a couple cookies for free. Later on, after overhearing us talk about the breakfast all day and french toast, they brought us out a couple slices for free! I was stunned, impressed, and touched by their generosity. I don't live in the area but I will definitely be coming back on my own, and hope to share this experience with others.“

“We had lunch here while visiting Elliott City. The food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the Tavern burger, and it was "the best burger he's ever had". My daughter had the same, and she really liked her burger also. I had the smoked salmon wrap, and it was delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out. Aside from the food, the restaurant is beautiful and the vibe is very chilled. We will definitely be returning!“

“We had the fried green tomatoes as our first appetizer. They were tender and topped with lumps of crabmeat. Spectacular! Then we had the fried cheese appetizer. I can’t remember the name of the cheese, but it was delicious in the accompanying sauce and olive oil and pesto. All of the dishes we had came out perfect. My filet medallions were so tender, they melted in my mouth. Hubby got the pork loin over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and loved it. We will definitely come back!“

“Been going to Jake's for years and before that Shorty's (Jake's Dad) at old location. Stopped by on a Saturday for a pit beef Sammy. Ordered rare and that puppy was in my hands in 30 seconds. Grabbed some onions and their tiger sauce and drove home to eat. It was delicious & a huge portion and under $9. Normal people could almost split it but of course I devoured the whole thing w some chips. The guys who work here are awesome and have the whole process down to a science. Nice people to boot. I am a fan of their ribs and their in house bbq sauce too. I do not get there often since trying to cut back on red meat but when I need pit beef, this is my spot.“

“The food is always great, amazing how consistent they can be, and they mix it up with their specials. The wait staff is excellent and all the people that work there are top notch! The bar is very fun, lots of regulars, people are super friendly and always willing to move (left/right) to open seats for others when they are waiting (it’s a regular happening-tradition). The bar tenders are the absolute best...Mark, Sandy, and the entire team there... you will not be disappointed.“

“Came here for a family birthday dinner on a Saturday evening, did not disappoint! Since it was the weekend, it was definitely busy. We made a reservation a few days prior, so I do recommend making a reservation for the weekend (not sure how busy it gets during the weekday but I assume it would still be popular!) Our server was super attentive as well as the other servers walking around throughout our meal. He offered us recommendations and was very detailed and kind. He also mentioned that there are items that can be made Gluten Free but to not assume that the GF label means that it is gluten free by nature. We started with the calamari which tasted fresh and delicious! Always one of our go-to appetizers at any restaurant that offers it. For our mains, we ordered an assortment of entrees--pasta, paella, grilled salmon, and the ribeye steak. They were super accommodating to requests/substitutions as well (sub veggies for mashed potatoes, etc). Everything was so yum - nothing tasted lukewarm despite everything coming out around the same time. Nothing was bland - flavors were all prominent without being overbearing. The steaks were cooked according to temperature preferences and the salmon was not dry at all! The only reason why I docked a star is because of how loud it gets, making it a little difficult to have conversation with the table and also flag down our server who was super busy. It's also a little on the darker side (think borderline cheesecake factory level) so just beware for those who may have people in their party who cannot see well in dim lighting. Will definitely be back in the future :)“

“This place was amazing. When I saw the one dish salad and sliced steak with fries, only options. I was a bit skeptical. However, this place rocks. Steak made perfect to order, and the home made gravy and fresh bread delicious. The Lavender 75 drink was a great refreshing beverage. Definitely will be our new date night spot.“

“We selected Iron Bridge Wine Company for dinner to celebrate the retirement of a former work colleague and his wife. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who in addition to seating us took the time to familiarize us with the menus and drink options. The staff also had a handwritten congratulatory note for our guest of honor, acknowledging the special dinner. Our waiter Sean, was very pleasant and professional, surprising us with four glasses of Prosecco to toast our guests. Appetizers were amazing (Lobster ravioli was so good) and all of us ordered the ribeye steaks which were grilled to perfection. The entire dinner was so enjoyable, paced perfectly, and our guests were so pleased and appreciative of the effort put forth by the restaurant team. It was a perfect evening -- thank you!“

“Wonderful experience. We loved our waiter, Gabe. My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. He told us congratulations and offered us each a complimentary glass of champagne right off the bat. We soon had warm bread brought to our table and then we ordered cocktails and two appetizers. All delicious. Baked brie was phenomenal. My husband had the filet mignon & I ordered a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. After we were nearly stuffed, Gabe offered us a complimentary dessert to share. Overall an amazing experience. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!“

“Our excellent waiter, Armani, told us that the sea bass entree was very good, and that's what I ordered. He was right - it was delicious on a bed of wild rice and green beans. I ordered a side of sweet potato and potato soup the start. My glass of Australian Malbec was the perfect accompaniment. Honestly, I've really never had a meal there that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed! Last night everything was great!“

“Our server, Alex, was amazing! Ive been in the industry almost ten years, and he's one of the better servers I've had. This restaurant had better hold on to him tight! The brussel sprouts and calamari were great- nice and crispy. I had the honey lime salad, and it was fine! My partner had the filet risotto, and it could have been better. If you're going to offer steak to temp, I'd suggest not using such thin pieces. Luckily, the steak, though overcooked, was moist and flavorful. I'd suggest either using thicker cuts of filet, or not offering a choice of steak temp for that dish.“

“Perfect way to start AND end a night when visiting Maryland's best comedy club. If you're there with a tab an hour before the show, you can check-in early and skip the line for will call ? (Just ask one of the fabulous bartenders about pre-seating). At the end of the night, stop back in! You'll get half off your first round of drinks after every show! ?Tons of drink and food combinations to try including the "burger of the month", a new late night munchies menu, and so many bourbon and whiskey options to explore! ?And if you're feeling brave, you can try out your jokes at the bar's comedy open mics on Tuesday and Thursday nights.Love this place.Parking: Not just one, but two free parking lots (located on either side of the entrance). To top it off, the bar is walking distance from the Holiday Inn.“

“These wings are really good. Very very tasty. Great variety of flavors, with very solid prices as well, 10 wings for $13.The guy working the register is extremely friendly, and he has just excellent service. I would go back just for him.The interior is not very good, very basic, and there are only 2 tables with 2 chairs each. But most of the clientele gets to go anyways.Vegetarian options: Every item on the menu is chicken or seafood. If you're a pescatarian you'd be fine.“

“Place was packed around 10:45 on a Saturday morning, but my waitress swooped in within about 2 mins of sitting down. She was a terrific server - very friendly & attentive with a wonderful smile & personality to boot. Despite being so crowded, the food came out very quickly, much faster than expected. Also, I asked for the potatoes to be "extra crispy" (Restaurants seem to usually serve potatoes either too hard or too mushy), and they were prepared perfectly. We got 2 different Eggs Benedict dishes, and both were outstanding:1. With Avocado and Toast -- delicious!2. With the Duck and Croissant -- never had duck with Eggs Benny before, and it was fantastic.I'll def stop in again sometime.Great experience & food - thanks folks!Parking: Really no street parking, but there is a giant lot across the street that one can slide into for free, but I'm not sure if the apt complex monitors the parking. There is also a giant parking garage (visible from Interstate 83), which I THINK is free (I seem to remember seeing signs for free parking, but I'm not 100% certain)“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Daniels is a decent place to get a bite to eat. Their food is only average, and I have had bad meals here. My last meal, order of wings was great. Service was slow, but we were a party of 10, so I suppose that to be expected. ****Update - tried this place a few more times. Completely different experiences. We now love this place. Food quality was great. The cheese steak was great, the burgers are phenomenal and staff is super friendly. They even have love music some nights. We will continue to visit this place.“

“This was far from my first time here, but stopped by for a mother's day lunch today. Not pictured (because I was hungry, sorry) was the charcuterie plate and the Thai steamed mussels. The charcuterie plate had toasted bread, spiced nuts, two cheeses (today was havarti dill and a "grilled" cheese), prosciutto, smoked duck, whole grain mustard, house made pickles and a sweet relish. All the components on their own are delicious, but my favorite pairing was the bread with whole grain mustard, smoked duck, and sweet relish on top. The Thai mussels were cooked perfectly, the broth was light and full of ginger, garlic and coconut, served with a garlic Naan style bread. For desert, the s'mores cake with torched marshmallow, fudge sauce, chocolate cake and a Graham ice cream. It was decadent without being cloying, and a great ratio of chocolate, marshmallow, and Graham cracker that a lot of s'mores desserts get wrong. I also got the espresso marti-no, which was their non alcoholic espresso martini. Essentially a cold brew, but I loved the fancy feeling and it was refreshing and sweet. Our sever, Mike, was attentive and helpful, checked on us frequently but not enough to interrupt the experience. Love the ambiance here and the food is always a hit.“

“The Judge's Bench is a nice little dive bar that also has a "cocktail club" on the third floor. If you're looking for a little more upscale experience, or perhaps a more intimate experience, this is a nice place to try. “Always a good meal. Menu is a little limited for us. We usually go for the salads and lighter meals. The full dinners are a little pricey for a neighborhood restaurant. “Sunday we shopped the area and decided to grab a beer and sit outside and soak up some early March sunshine. After a while we decided to grab something light to eat to split it. What a surprise, Carroll and Son offer (what I would call) a falafel burger. It was really good and large enough to split for two. The "burger" had the right amount and variety of condiments to make it tasty. Not so light but delicious, we added tater tots to complete our midday snack.“

“Friendly staff, the food can take a bit of time to be ready but its worth it. Everything is flavorful and the sandwiches are full. “Went back to the Trolley Stop for the first time in over ten years and had a good time and meal. Wife and I split a Caesar salad and French Onion Soup as course #1, the Caesar salad with blackened chicken was delicious, like really really great, the way they dressed it was just perfect and the chicken was not "too blackened" just right. The French onion soup was very good, tasty and cheesy but not too cheesy, just right. For our entrees, my wife and I split a mushroom, bacon, swiss burger and the French Dip. The French dip was probably the lowest point of the night, you had to pay extra to get it with cheese and fried onions (that put the sandwich up close to $20) and it just wasn't that great, not bad, but nothing special, just a big pile of roast beef that needed a dip in the au jus to taste good. The Swiss Bacon burger was delicious, cooked perfectly to medium (so many places overcook when you ask for medium, this had a perfect pink center), very tasty bacon, just very good. Our trip was probably 4.5 stars, we will come back!“

“It was a girls day brunch. The food was fantastic. Our server was very good very nice and very attentive. My only issue was with the music. The acoustics in your restaurant are not very good with regard to the noise level and having a jazz band made it difficult to talk unless we talked at a louder volume, which is what other tables were doing, which just made it very loud. I'm not sure I would return at a time when you have live music so I will need to keep an eye on your website to avoid the live music. “

“My wife and I stopped in on a Friday evening during happy hour to taste the food and experience the atmosphere of a place I've driven by hundreds of times. The bar area was almost full. We found two seats at the bar. The numerous TVs were tuned to the current sporting event at the time. Light conversation was occurring all around us. Our bartender tended to us quickly and got our drink orders promptly. I ordered off the regular menu as opposed to the happy hour menu. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Penne Pasta. It came in due time and was excellent. It's a large portion, so be prepared to undue the top button of your trousers or get a doggie bag. I'd definitely come here again, maybe to watch an O's game.“
