“If you've never tried boba tea, please let this be your first. This is the one of the best places I've ever been to, and trust me when I say this, for I have went to tons of places in search for great boba. The place is clean and the workers are friendly. I ordered taro boba tea, crystal boba, aloe jelly, and no ice. That was my usual order.. until I tried the milk foam here. It is perfect! The texture is so nice, the flavor is sweet but not too sweet. I ordered that drink so many times that I can't even count. Another one of my favorites is the brown sugar cloud. Not many places have such cloudy boba that is this delicious.“
“A lovely place to drink tea, ice smoothies, and other drinks. The price is okay. You can control the ice percentage and sweetness for the drinks. I would rate them a 9.5-9.9/10 and encourage them to create more other interesting drinks and to keep up their hard work. A lovely place.“

“It’s a cute, little bakery run by some lovely, wonderful people.I’m a pretty big guy who used to be overweight. My love for sugar is still very much present lol. That said, whenever I eat anything from here, I don’t feel that “guilt” or “shame” you feel when you prick up a candy bar.Everything that I’ve tried here is the perfect amount of sweet. Not too much, not too little. It will satisfy your sweet tooth without making your doctor cry at the amount of sugar you just ingested. It’s also very filling. I can easily eat 2-3 donuts from a donut shop. Meanwhile, I’ll be 3/4 of the way thru a pastry from this bakery and I’ll struggle to eat the rest. I want to eat the rest because they’re VERY delicious but it’s more than meets the eye. Also extremely well priced. The average for a single pastry or slice of cake seems to be right below $4 I think. Might be slightly off but the point is I didn’t feel like I was spending a lot. Again, for something that will fill a grown man up without being half your daily amount of calories in a single serving like some of these other sweets, this place is near impossible to beat.I love this place“

“Amazing! I had to get prepared for the aftermath of my blood donation and my body loves an açaí bowl afterwards! I grabbed a coconut smoothie (5/5 tasty) and two smoothie bowls: the coconut bowl (I'm coconut crazy 5/5) and the pitaya bowl (5/5). The fruit was super fresh, cold and crisp. The smoothie base was pure YUM. I'd come here every day if I could! Paid parking via mobile apps: $.79 cents for 20 minutes. Tons of other eateries in the area to walk to. Just be careful. The area was a bit odd. I didn't exactly feel the safest alone. The cat calling was annoying. The following and talking to me as I left my truck was awkward. It's an area that I'd bring pepper spray to.“

“I came in here with high expectations and the smoothie delivered even above them! However, when someone doesn't know an ingredient, you tell them. You don't say 'chocolate is chocolate' if someone doesn't know what chocolate is.I wish I lived here to come all the time, even with that.Seriously good smoothies.“

“This was my second Açaí Bowl experience, and my favorite! Look at that picture, the fruit is fresh and piled high! The granola was so good too! I should have drizzled some honey on the top or gotten some of the chocolate pieces. That would have set it off. But it was awesome as it comes. I am a sweet girlie, and the Açaí mixed with pineapple was perfect! The service was great, quick, easy, and friendly. The establishment was clean, I even had to use the restroom and that was clean too. I enjoyed sitting there to eat too, they have big windows to look out of which was nice.“

“Was looking for a quick snack while I drop the kids off at their jungle gym and happened to stumble across this cute little smoothie bowl spot. Lina made a really great recommendation to me for the warrior bowl, this was such an exotic thing for me, but I was willing to be pushed out of my comfort zone. It was so delicious and new to me, I will definitely be coming back. This place had a meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness.“

“In the bustling streets of fair [insert city name], where the sun doth shine and hunger doth assail, there lies a haven called South Block, renowned for its smoothie bowls, a feast fit for kings and commoners alike. With fruits ripe and luscious, they craft concoctions of unparalleled delight, each bowl a masterpiece, a symphony of flavors that dance upon the palate with grace unmatched. Oh, how sweetly doth the mango mingle with the creamy yogurt, and how boldly doth the acai assert its presence, a burst of vitality in every spoonful. But 'tis not merely the taste that enchants the soul, for the presentation of these bowls is a sight to behold. Adorned with a tapestry of toppings, from crunchy granola to succulent berries, each bowl is a canvas upon which the artisans of South Block paint their gastronomic masterpiece. And lo, as one lifts the spoon to one's lips, one cannot help but marvel at the beauty before them, a testament to the skill and artistry of those who hath crafted it.Yet, like all things in this mortal coil, South Block's smoothie bowls are not without their flaws. For though the flavors may be divine, the prices doth weigh heavy upon the purse strings of many a patron. And though the portions be generous, some may find themselves longing for more, their appetites unsated by a single bowl alone. But let not these trifling concerns deter thee, dear reader, from partaking in the splendor that is South Block's smoothie bowls. For in a world fraught with chaos and strife, there is solace to be found in the simple pleasures of a well-crafted meal, and in South Block, such pleasures abound in abundance. So go forth, noble gastronomes, and feast upon the fruits of their labor. Thy taste buds shall thank thee, and thy heart shall rejoice in the bounty of the harvest.“

“I’ve been coming to the Union Market location for about a year mainly for breakfast most weekends and I keep returning. Why? Excellent food and drinks, strong coffee, outstanding service and a very nice ambiance. Luckily it’s across the street from my apartment building.Parking: There is a garage parking option a block away that is free for 3 hours, otherwise there's paid street parking available. Difficult to find street parking during busy times of the day. Easy in the mornings.Wheelchair accessibility: Street to restaurant access is easily accessible by wheelchairs with no steps involved. Front door is double wide; however, need to open manually. Staff will happily help open the doors.“

“Some of the best coffee I’ve had in ages, and a good egg-and-bacon bagel. Beautiful light, bright space with big murals. Lots of outlets. Very nice folks behind the counter. Lovely place where I’d love to hang out. “We were staying next door to the Flavor Garden and came in for breakfast on our first day in DC, the service was good, the good was so good. I keep thinking about the scrambled eggs! They tasted freshly scrambled and made out of real eggs, and seriously the best eggs I have had in my life! The french toast and bacon were also good but not as good as those eggs! We returned that evening for dinner and my husband and I both had the burgers. They were the best ever! Great flavor and texture and so savory. I also had one of the best margaritas I have ever had and all in all really good filling meals! I wish we got a chance to go again before we left DC. Believe me when I tell you go check them out!“

“Really liked Ruben's Taco Tuesday deal!!! I came in looking for a different restaurant but found this one appealing as a tiny side restaurant in the popular DuPont Circle Area. The taco Tuesday deal is 1.99 per taco on Tuesdays! I thought it was a good deal for what it was. I really liked the chorizo taco out of all three (steak and chicken being the other ones). I would probably come back just for that taco in the future. On top of that, I really loved the hot sauce they had. It was really good and added a really nice kick to the taco.I wouldn't get the horchata again though. While it wasn't bad, it doubled the cost of my order haha !!“

“MOM'S Organic Market's "Naked Lunch" is an all-organic cafe serving in-house-made vegetarian and vegan sandwiches, salads, bowls, juices, and desserts. It is my favorite go-to lunch spot when at work. Each week they have a special raw pressed juice, different desserts to pick from and one or two different entrée options. For the most part you can grab the staples such as their Kale Caesar, Confetti Bowl, Moler Bowl, Sushi Bowl, Black Bean Burger, Cauliflower Tacos, Jammed Yam and Greek Potatoes. This time around I went with the Confetti Bowl. The Confetti Bowl consists of a hefty portion of brown rice and black beans with grated parmesan cheese, mixed peppers, olives, tomatoes, corn, garnished with cilantro and jalapeños and a zesty lime jalapeño dressing. This was $10.75. I was unaware that you could add items so next time I will add tofu for some added protein!“

“Loved my second visit here with my hubby this time. I ordered the same thing again with different toppings-- the Strawberry Lady consisting of strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, marshmallows, and fresh strawberries. My husband got the Reese's Blast that had lots of chocolate and peanut flavors to it. Both items weren't overly sweet which I really appreciated. The order can be placed by using the touchscreen or by letting the cashier know. The price can be a bit extra except it's worth it. Our two ice cream orders came out shy of $16 but it comes with at least 3 free toppings of our choosing. The only gripe I have is parking. The lot in front of the store is perpetually full. It's best to park across the street if able.“

“Listen the price is steel but the juices are absolutely bomb. Great burgers. I love this place. It's also super vegan. Wish they'd stop clinging onto the optional cheese situation for really no reason. Edit: apparently the baked good are also not vegan. Slightly annoying. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-10“

“What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into over 200+ stores, thousands of employees, and a mission to lead communities in healthy, sustainable living. The Playa Bowls™ concept is the vision of founders Robert Giuliani & Abby Taylor — both Jersey Shore natives & long time surfers. Abby grew up in Ocean Township surfing the beaches of Monmouth County, while Rob grew up surfing in Ocean County. They were inspired by chasing summer on surf trips to Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, California & Hawaii. Almost every exotic surf town they visited offered their own unique version of an acai or pitaya bowl. They decided to recreate their favorite recipes with their own twist at home at the Jersey Shore. They made a deal with the owner of the pizza shop they lived above on 8th Avenue in Belmar, NJ. They bought a blender, a patio table, a fridge & a freezer and set up a makeshift pop up stand on the sidewalk in front of the pizza shop. They spent a lot of time & effort telling their story and educating customers on the benefits of acai. As word spread of this creative & intuitive pop up stand, more & more people stood in line on the side of Ocean Avenue to see what Playa Bowls was all about. Rob & Abby realized it was time to take their growing business to the next level. Fast forward nine years & here we are, sharing our story & passion at over 200 stores nation wide. They serve our communities the highest quality, innovative products to support healthier lifestyles and inspire a world of fun, excitement and togetherness. At Playa Bowls, they LIVE there brand in actions and in the relationships that they make in our communities. “Sweet little hidden gem in a clean neighborhood. This place surprised me with delicious acai bowls, great sandwiches and salads, and flavorful smoothies. The coffee was on point too!Parking: There was paid street parking that was fairly easy to find early Friday afternoon. That being said, it seems that isn't necessarily an abundance of parking for busier times on the main street. Side streets may offer more options with a short walk.“

“I've been a long time customer of Turning Natural and highly recommended their juices, smoothies and cleanses. My favorite smoothie is their Happy Hemp that comes with mango, pineapple, spinach, spirulina and hemp protein. So yummy! The black bean burger and spinach patty are pretty good too. “We were starving after the ill-fated attempt to Beat the Bomb (See review). Too tired to walk the mile or more for full restaurant fare that didn't require reservations, all the places nearby were just bar food. And though i don't mind bar food...we wanted something else Honestly: didn't even know MoMs had eat-in-store options. I'd only been to the one in White Marsh, and it doesn't Cutting through the store headed to the elevator to the parking garage, we saw "this": the Naked Lunch And thought. Hmmm. Quick. Healthy. Non-bar. Why not? All vegetarian, vegan, lots of raw, veggies, and legumes, grains, and fruit and vegetable juices! Sooo glad we did! 2/4 of us frequent the establishment so we followed their lead I got the moolah bowl and a friend got a juice made of all kinds of fresh stuff. She said it was THE best fresh juices juice she'd ever had. Unfortunately they were out of both avocado and mushrooms, so I subbed brown rice and black beans. LOVED IT They roast the veggies, and just totally mix the greens and toppings n veggies altogether and dump it in a brown box! DELISH AND HUMONGOUS. I literally am on my 3rd meal of it, today! I'm gonna write to the moms in white marsh and ask why "we" don't have the ear in option? Staff: two VERY hard working folk going at it, being patient with us first timers and totally apologetic about the items they were out of (as though it were their fault). A short line started to form behind us and a lady appeared from the rear to help them out. Good to see an establishment recognize a need to come to the aid of other workers to ensure customer satisfaction“
