Portions are large enough for two meals, so it turns out their prices are very reasonable...and they have been sending me $10 coupons every time i order guaranteeing I come back. Highly recommend.“

“Tasty Pizza-Fresh Ingredients! I introduced a friend today to Potomac Pizza. The Potomac location just off Falls/River Rds. We arrived in the early afternoon & informed no server this afternoon please order/pay@counter! We ordered/paid accordingly. Found a booth & awaited Our meal. A large thin crust pizza (sausage, pepperoni, onions & cheese), garlic knots, a Coke & beer. Shortly drinks arrived cold, pizza & garlic knots hot. My friend loved the garlic knots-delicious flavor. The pizza-Delicious, fresh ingredients especially creamy melted mozzarella, flavorful sausage & onions. See Photos.“

“Another wonderful meal at a truly lovely restaurant. The staff is very cordial and helpful and the food is tasty and well-presented. I had the salmon trio (smoked salmon, salmon tartar, and salmon roe) for an appetizer and sea bass for my entree. My husband had the wonderful onion soup for an appetizer and the crab cake, scallops, and shrimp for his entree. He was able to get the dish minus scallops as he is allergic to them!! Several able bodied men spotted me both entering and exiting the restraunt without making me feel as if I was disturbing everyone (believe me, this attitude is not always the case). “This is a very unassuming restaurant tucked away in an old shopping center. Doesn't look like much inside or out, but the food is fabulous. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, from appetizers to desserts. Wonderful wine list. The tables are well spaced for comfort and privacy the atmosphere is relaxed, and you never feel rushed. There is no kid's menu. Opened for dinner only.“

“I'm a regular at Angelo's almost every Tuesday during the fall middle school and spring high school softball seasons. I stop there between the game I umpire and teaching religious education around the corner at St. Patrick's. I will say that the quality at Angelo's is outstanding. I usually do a combination cheeseburger sub or steak and cheese. They are excellent. Plus, the fries are real fries that come out of the deep frier nice and crispy. I often will treat my religious education class to pizzas from Angelo's and they always tell me it's good pizza. Finally, they have Little Gina's pizzels. They're an Italian cookie my Italian mom would make and they are exactly like she would cook them. So, if you want some great pizza or sub plus some really crispy fries, I highly recommend Angelo's. Maybe I'll see you there some Tuesday!“

Good local place though nothing in our selection was a must to come back - though willing to come back again. Servers were very attentive and host was very friendly and accommodating. “I called in for a to-go order on a rainy Wednesday night, and got a small meat lovers pizza with lemon cake. I don't think the pizza was worth it as it reminded me of dry frozen pizza that I could've baked myself for a fraction of the cost. The lemon cake was delicious however! The owners were very sweet when I went to pick up my food and even gave me a small discount-- an even $20 instead of $21 and some change haha. I would come back to try their cheesesteaks, but would avoid the pizza in all honesty.“

“After The Espositos in Fairfax, unfortunately, closed last month, we were looking for an Italian restaurant for casual dining. We were in the area a couple of days ago and decided to check out Pazzo Pomodoro around lunch time. The place is most certainly is favored by a lot of regulars - even during lunch in the middle of the week there were relatively large groups of people coming in for lunch/brunch. The service was great - the waiter was quite attentive, enthusiastic and funny; didn’t hover but was there when needed. The food was good - menu has great selection - my husband had veal with veggies and liked it (although he did comment that the dish was maybe a tad too sweet) and I had chicken alla Fiorentina served with risotto and it was delicious, especially impressed with risotto (al dente rice with just a little bite to it, perfectly cooked, yum!). They obviously have a very extensive wine list; we had montepulciano and it was ok, probably will have something different next time. One thing we both agreed on was that the restaurant was quite dark - I mean, the lights were dimmed I think, the design I guess, it just came across as quite dark… so we were super happy that they offered us a table by the window. All in all, a nice place, we’ll certainly return for a casual dinner in the near future.“

“This was my first visit to Capri despite living in McLean for several years. It is a traditional white tablecloth restaurant and I was a bit hesitant to try it, but the food was wonderful. My rack of lamb was cooked just the way I requested and was not at all fatty/greasy as some lamb can be. The dark gravy was excellent as were the accompanying vegetables and crispy small roasted potato wedges. The other members of my party had Italian dishes which they were very happy with. Desserts - spumoni encased in chocolate and tiramisu - were excellent. We will definitely be back.“

It was lamb tenderloin pieces wrapped in a yummy chicken and parsley mousse. The sides on the plate were equally great. My husband had Pappardelle Al Cinghale. “We were in Gaithersburg for a soccer tournament with our son. We googled nearby Italian restaurants and stumbled upon Il pizzico. Being of Sicilian descent, I noticed they had some familiar foods you can’t just get anywhere and made a reservation. What a pleasant surprise! From the carpaccio and arancini appetizers, pasta and risotto to the gelato and cannoli desserts, everything was 5 stars. We will be back in the spring!“

They have an impressive variety of fresh toppings, and not just the same old: gyro meat, fresh garlic, ricotta, spinach, you name it. And they're not stingy with the toppings either! The sauce is savory and not sickly sweet like some other pizza places I won't name but rhyme with Shmoppa Shmon's. Pretty much every time we order from them they have some sort of wallet-friendly promotion going on that offers significant savings. While there are only a few tables inside, Listrani's has a nice, fenced-in area outside that's covered by a gazebo.
