“I have walked past this place dozens of times on my numerous trips to OOb. My youngest found this online when searching for a good burger... They do not take reservations, it is small inside so best to go during an off time. We were seated upstairs. Waitress and service was top notch. Drinks were great and the food was outstanding. If you want a sit down dinner this is in my opinion the best option on the pier.”

“Elevate Cafe is the beacon of greatness in a sea of sub-par tourist/vacation food.I try to find the best spots to eat whenever I visit a town that is new to me. There are just too many food businesses where quality has taken a backseat, as the business has found it's market and the owner has emotionally clocked out.When entering Elevate Cafe, I noticed the owner was there working the grill and instructing the staff. The quality of the food clearly meant something to this person. That was my hint that this could be a good spot.I ordered the bacon egg and cheese on a rosemary bagel. I can only say that it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten, and I was surprised to taste something so great in a tourist town. I ate there the following morning as well, because I was convinced that there couldn't be another place that was worth my time.I cannot wait to return to this place when I visit the area again.”

“This was a great place to eat and drink in Old Orchard. The ambience was clean and relaxed. The bartender was friendly. Coming from California, we picked this place as our first lobster roll to try in Maine and it did not disappoint! The beer was pretty good and went well with the food.”

“We just ordered veggie and chicken yellow curries to our home. Portions are very appropriate. Very clean tasting oil used for the crab rangoon. The color on them was wonderful. We also tried the scallion pancakes. So yum yum and cooked just right. You’ll be our new spot. Thank you for giving us a solid dinner. Bellies are warm and full!”

“Excellent Pha Naeng (Panang) Curry. I get it without bell peppers with shrimp and brown rice. It is my favorite and the best in town. Crab Rangoon is superb. Vegetable dumplings taste good steamed. I don't care for the black sauce but that is personal preference. Shrimp dumplings could use improvement. I didn't care for the Pad Thai. Their 5 star scale is a true scale not Maine's 5 star bland scale.Vegetarian options: Plenty of shrimp and vegetable options.”

“This is one of my favorite places. Definately favorite Hispanic oriented food in Maine. I love how the food isn't drenched in salt!! I order cheese quesadillas and chips with queso plus extra pico. The pico is always fresh. I wish they carried Shrimp quesadillas. Love me some shrimp.”

“Every time I come up to Old Orchard Beach, my family and I stop here! It's no frills, but a solid, straightforward meal. Everything is reasonably priced with portions that will leave you full. Once you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. Old school decor, your classic American restaurant. On the menu, they have an option for a 3-course meal. They have various options to choose from for a fixed price! It's great . My only complaint about it is that they used to have steamers as an option for an appetizer in the fixed 3 course meal, and it is no longer included. I decided on clam chowder, Caesar salad, and stuffed shrimp. I enjoyed the salad, and the stuffing for the shrimp was buttery and rich, but the clam chowder was terrible. No flavor at all and extremely watery broth. Would never get that again. Overall, enjoyable sit down, family restaurant, and will be back next year!”

“I am disappointed with the new size offerings. I wish the precious size portions come back and the quantity given in each went back to the same. I'm okay with prices adjusting accordingly, if bringing back the other options in hard serve. . Price to produce it. And, I do home recipes have not been adjusted as I'm questioning the creaminess of this year's product with last year.”

My husband and I were visiting from Canada and craved to try our first Philly steak and cheese, we followed our noses to this amazing restaurant! The owner greeted us with a smile, we felt so welcome by him. “I ordered two large trays of cookies for my granddaughters Graduation and 18th Birthday celebration. The cookies were so fresh and delicious!! The Italian cookies brought back so many childhood memories ❤️ I had guests come up to me just to tell me the cookies “were to die for”. We had about 100 guests and my only regret is I didn’t order more cookies. “We came to maine for alittle get away. We went Saturday nite and Sunday afternoon. Both meals were great. We did not have to wait long to be seated or waited on. Staff was very friendly and thet worked well together. Can't wait to go back.”

“This is a local's bar. No food to eat except for little bags of chips. Drinks were good and Jello shots were yummy. We had fun just listening to the other customers and chatting with people. They are one of the only places to stay open late right now.”

The pizza was good, not incredible or anything but decent. The dip was surprisingly exceptional. The server here was very attentive and super nice, probably one of the best I had while in Maine.”
