“Service was great, so attentive to detail. Friend has a gluten allergy and we were told that her food was being prepared in a separate kitchen. Got the smoked tofu to change it up and absolutely loved it. A bit pricey with smaller portions but great qualityDietary restrictions: Accommodated gluten allergy easily”
“Last month our flight to Portland was delayed a considerable amount of time due to weather issues and it looked as though we would not be able to make our 5p.m. reservation. My daughter called from the tarmac in Boston where we were rerouted and refueled and explained the situation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; the food so very delicious and our waitperson, Anika, was the best. Atmosphere, impeccable service, food and warmth all rate 5 stars and another visit next time we are in Portland.”
“Best dinner ever! The delicacy of the food here is beyond compare, delicious and meticulously prepared, from the complimentary bread to the dessert, every bite we took of the food was amazing! My husband, my two boys and I were impressed of how tasty everything was and we loved the atmosphere. We went on a cold February night during their school winter break and this was the highlight of our vacation! Highly recommended this place, food is definitely worth the money and a nice area to walk around after your palates have been taken for a delicious adventure!Parking: There is a parking garage lot right behind the restaurant adjacent to the Hotel by the Warf.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 11 and 13 yr old boys and we also saw younger kids there, they offered small plates for the kids if needed.”

“Amazing farm to table food and drinks. We stopped by downtown Portland on our way out of town from a corporate retreat. Came in and sat at the bar, Cameron provided first class service, was incredible knowledgeable and attentive. Guided us through the menu and ensured we had a 5 star experience.”

“I expected great coffee and got it, but the biscuits and scones were delicious- even better than my own homemade.”

“This gelato place was excellent! They let you get as many flavors as you want in any size. I went with two flavors in a small, but the combinations are endless! The gelato was rich, creamy, and delicious. Plus, the service was lovely. Highly recommend!”
“Unreal experience! Our bartender, Josiah helped us pick some amazing dishes. We can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This place is an absolute must go to restaurant in Portland. The atmosphere is very cozy, at least in the space and the lighting, but super hip. They play lots of dancey, fun music, which wasn’t deafening or obnoxious but just added to the great vibe. They have lots of great options, all smaller plates which makes it so much fun to share with whoever you’re with. We got the garlic edamame, bacon mochi, the cabbage pancake (I forget the official name, forgive me), and the udon. Every bite was perfect, and the service was awesome. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super attentive despite being busy. The cocktail menu is also fantastic! Definitely worth trying at *least* one.”

“Super cozy, fun new eatery in the West End. We truly enjoyed the food, and the service was both friendly and professional. The foie gras "truffle" was rich, sweet, and nutty - a perfect combination. And only get one each! It's too rich to have any more. The fried sun-chokes were perfectly crisp, with a real "roasted" flavor. Cabbage salad was a table favorite; crunchy and rich, yet almost light in a way. The pork schnitzel was absolutely incredible - breaded crisp with thinly sliced greens on top. My only small criticism was that the aïoli sauce under the pork schnitzel didn't add to the flavor, and I didn't think it was appropriate for that dish. It also tended to get the entire bottom of the pork moist, instead of keeping it super crisp as it should be. We still really loved it, and would order it again, but I would ask that they leave off the tonnato-aïoli the next time. The wine list (per my sommelier wife) was extremely interesting, creative, and fun. Plenty of wines by the glass, along with just a ton of interesting bottles to choose from. Lastly, they had only two dessert choices, neither of which jumped out at us. Tiramisu and chocolate mousse? I was hoping for something with sweet local fruit, maybe a savory option, but not two traditional European sweets. Maybe they'll update the menu for summer. Overall, an absolutely terrific place for a cozy, delicious meal with friends or family.”
“Had the best lobster roll and we are new englanders. Your staff was awesome! Thank you”

“Been talking about Bar Futo for a year now ever since their pop up at the amazing Koji Club in Boston. Here’s how it went. Get one of everything. Drink a bottle of sake. Chat with amazing staff. Order more yakitori. Have some beers. Order a crazy dessert. Buy the kitchen some shots. And listen to the story of the amazing chef and owner on what it takes to open and run the best new restaurant in New England. I said it. Sorry Boston but gonna have to step it up notch. Can’t wait to come back!”
“The food at Hunt and Alpine is always amazing and the cocktails are consistently the best I have had. Nothing on the drink menu jumping out at you? Tell them what you like and they will surprise you. We go there multiple times per trip and never get tired of it.”
“Love this place. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Reservations recommended. Loved the ramen I tried (duck) and my friend's fried chicken ramen was delicious also. The spicy wings appetizer was very good and very spicy. Would have liked some kind of dipping sauce. My friend also tried the Lost in Thailand cocktail which was delicious and slightly spicy.”

“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful dinner on 2-15. We sat at the end of the sushi bar- it was a little tight when it got busy, but it’s definitely the best sushi place we’ve been to. Our server Chad was awesome and made us feel very welcome. I told a few friends and decided to write a review”
“We've been dining at Leeward for almost 2 years. Several of the current menu items are the absolute best that we've had there: Endive Salad with gorgonzola & apples. The grilled oysters with Calabrian Chile & ramp butter were delicious! We always love the pasta however 2 are top notch on current menu. Cacio e Pepe tortelli and the whole wheat pappardelle! One our favorite restaurants in Portland!Vegetarian options: Many dishes are already vegetarian. Lots of options on that front.”
“We had our welcome party here the day before our wedding and it was wonderful! Rebecca was so easy to work with and made the whole process a breeze. Everyone had such a great time and the staff did an awesome job serving over 100 guests.”
“Food is perfect but atmosphere is loud. Not very intimate or romantic for a date night. A large group was seated next to us and two of the guys were yelling/talking and used the f-word every sentence. But the food is amazing!”

“It was a takeout order. Everything was just as we ordered it. The price was reasonable and the kiosk for placing your own order sped things up. Love the new feature. Also like the multiple variety of choices in the whopper Jr's. all for 2 for $5. In and out in a timely manor.”

“We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and delightful flavors of the food at Pai Men Miyake. The pork steamed buns were an absolute treat and they make me want to try the other options. The beef short rib, tantanmen, and chicken and pork ramens were all fantastic with tender meat that fell apart. The spice levels of all bowls were delicious. If you are craving fantastic ramen, this is the place for you!”

As a supervisor of a local hospital, the customer service is top notch! I would recommend this brewery to anyone! So amazing thanks to great staff like Shane and Rachael!”
“We spent 5 days visiting Portland Maine and every morning was a delight to visit and eat different pastries. The orange scones, pistachios snails, tarts and savory breads made every morning a wonderful start of a day. Today we purchased cookies for our flight back home. ?☺️???”
“Breath of fresh air coffee shop and medical dispensary! Moving to Portland I didn’t dream I’d find a welcoming kind environment for my two loves. “Many IPAs if that’s your thing. Servers were very helpful. Be aware that only paid parking spots in the Thompson’s Point complex — not the brewery’s fault but odd to have to pay in the middle of a pretty empty area.”

“The bad reviews posted by other people had me worried, but I had a pretty decent breakfast (and no problems) at 8:30 AM on a Wednesday. In the mornings, they just have one employee working (I assume she's the manager) and she is both your cashier and your cook. She did a good job on my breakfast, and I enjoyed it.Later in the day, a second employee comes in to help with lunch rush time.”
“This place has chronically dropped the ball on customer service. But seeing how the manager treats people based on what I guess is social status, it's not the employees fault.”
“Just had my first meal there - Pad Krapow 4 star w/ chicken. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Flavors were very bold, very fresh, loved the holy basil and the side cup of fish sauce w/ bird chiles. Best Thai I’ve had in Maine, would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves Thai!!!”

“We were up Maine for a basketball tournament and chose this diner to eat at. We had a little wait for 5 of us but it was worth the wait! I had the steak n eggs breakfast. The steak was lightly seasoned, soft and very tasty. The home fries had a light seasoning as well and after we ate I felt like something sweet, I had their carrot cake, very pleased. The waitress was great, made sure we had our refills and anything else we needed and came back after a few minutes from bringing our plates over asking how everything was. I had an amazing experience here and I would travel 90 minutes just to have their breakfast again, great job to all the staff. Kudos to the cooks! The food was amazing!”
“Wow! What a fantastic brunch! My family had the avocado toast, the mushroom toast and the breakfast sammie and we all loved our food! Also got a side of the house made sausage (kyufte) which was amazing! The coffee and drinks were great too! Cute spot and good service! Highly recommend!”

“Friendly staff, great prices and the yummiest smoothies! I give 10 stars!”
“I’ll be straight to the point! This place has top notch drinks and places to spread out with laptops or a book! ?☕️ Ow! Would love to see some more seating areas on the patio for when the weather is nice. This has a super astute lounge vibe that you might find near a college campus . I much prefer it to some of the ‘grungy hipster’ places in the area or Starbucks chains which are not really my jam ! Arabica always gets my order right, too, where recently I’ve had place try to force me to have iced beverages when I don’t even drink iced coffee or tea! Highly suggest Arabica ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ?♀️??♀️”
“Coffee By Design in Portland boasts exceptional customer service, with consistently friendly and polite staff. The coffee quality is unparalleled, arguably the best in Southern Maine. The only downside is the wait time, attributed to the shop's perpetual popularity. Despite the minor inconvenience, the overall experience is worth the brief delay for a sip of their outstanding brew.”
“We had such a delicious breakfast at Marcy’s The people working there are so friendly and very attentive. Everyone worked together and our coffee cups and water glasses never were empty we even were offered the remainder of the delicious milkshake that didn’t fit in the glass. Milkshakes for breakfast-perfect! The food was tasty and cooked perfectly and the portions were hearty. Loved the decor and the whole vibe of the place. Can’t wait to dine at Marcy’s again when we are in town. Thank you”
“Delicious food and excellent service! The focaccia, onion tart, and tagliatelle were all amazing and came highly recommended!”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Butcher Burger, and my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Hawaiian Burger, a culinary masterpiece that left me craving for more. From the first bite, I was transported to a tropical paradise of flavors. The perfectly grilled beef patty was juicy and succulent, complemented by the sweet and tangy pineapple slices that added a delightful tropical twist. The combination of crispy bacon, melted cheese, and the chef's special sauce created a symphony of tastes that danced on my palate. The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was evident, from the fresh, high-quality ingredients to the expertly crafted presentation. The service was exceptional, with the staff displaying a genuine passion for providing a memorable dining experience. The ambiance of Butcher Burger added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. It struck the perfect balance between a cozy atmosphere and a vibrant energy, making it an ideal spot for casual dining or a special celebration. Whether you're a burger aficionado or simply someone looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Butcher Burger is a must-visit. The Hawaiian Burger is a taste sensation that will linger in your memory, and I can't wait to return to explore more of the menu. Five stars without a doubt!”

“It’s almost an unwritten rule: never dine at the same restaurant while you’re on vacation.I broke that rule for Bayside. My first visit - I was seated quickly (easy for a table for 1) and enjoyed a classic French toast (yes to the local maple syrup, and add a side of fresh strawberries, please) and a cup of black tea. The next day I knew I had to come back to try the lemon curd French toast, and I’m glad I did. I mixed my seasons, sipping on an apple cider mimosa with cinnamon sugar rim, and I have no regrets.Aside from the incredible meals, the staff are welcoming, friendly, and eager to please. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, even when seated at the corner of the bar (talk up the bartenders, they’re all fantastic).Any other restaurant in Portland would have a hard time convincing me to dine there on my next trip.”
“We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and delightful flavors of the food at Pai Men Miyake. The pork steamed buns were an absolute treat and they make me want to try the other options. “The food here is absolutely unique and delicious! I had oysters, whole sea bass (stuffed with rice), green beans with feta, eggplant ... each dish distinctive and perfectly prepared. It's got to be one of the best restaurants in Portland.”
“Incredible bar. Unbelievable drinks menu (whoever thought to make a salted coconut foam topped banana espresso martini is a genius), the staff are amazing (Eric made our night on our last night in Portland) and the bar snacks are also delicious. Will definitely be heading back here on our next trip to Portland!”
“Lobster flight was great. Got 2 maine and 1 Connecticut. I definitely wish I got 3 Connecticut since they also drizzle butter over it before they give it to you.Parking: There is plenty of parking as long as you go early and the brewery isn't too busy.”
“Great vision with the food and cocktails…very unique and DELICIOUS!”
“This place is diner meets five bar in all the best ways. Great staff with ice cold beer and wine. Plus a super duper fantastic play list of '90s grunge and metal. Also, they had them hockey game on, Rangers! In a Boston friendly city. My only complaint is the fries. Please stop with the spray on Petrochemical crispy fry. Join the Potato Fries Matter; PFM movement. Get you may not want to make your own but get better spuds. This sticks of chemicals you serve are a disgrace. #PFM. ;)”
“Excellent service Fantastic Food Delicious drinks”

“Dinner & drinks were delicious and our servers were so very kind. We had the boxty, steak, & shepherd's pie. Super cozy atmosphere, it was so lovely and inviting with the sun streaming in on a lazy afternoon.”
“Great food and friendly staff. They recommended the picnic roll and it did not disappoint. We also tried the grilled cheese and BLT which were both great! It was also nice to get away from all the tourists and enjoy a relaxing lunch.”
“Wow, what an amazing little place in Portland. Service is awesome and extremely nice. The interior decor also makes the place very intimate and a vibe. It's a little small and gets pretty packed at night but it's well worth the wait. The food is immaculate. Delicious, flavorful, and so authentic. Prices were hit or miss but overall, it's very well worth your money. I highly recommend the Gong Bao Chicken ($20) as well as the Double-Cooked Pork ($19). A wonderful experience all around. I will absolutely be coming back and sharing this place with my friends and family.”
“Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Portland. Came here based on friend’s recommendation and My family and I loved it!! The food was really good and probably the most authentic in Portland. Our favorites were the Tandoori chicken and Chicken Karahi. Great Ambience and outstanding service! If you can’t find street parking, there is a parking deck right next to the restaurant which made it super convenient. Would definitely come back again!!”
“Loved everything about this place! It’s intimate, charming, and relaxed. The staff is wonderful— friendly, helpful, and deservedly proud of everything they serve. The oysters are sublime! The chowder is the best I’ve had in many years. Can’t wait to go back!”
“the margaritas are awesome especially if made by Anthony! they are Delicious!”
“Esaan doesn’t only have the best most flavorful and delicious food they also have a very warm and family owned atmosphere. You can tell whoever runs it puts their heart and soul into it. I would 100% recommend or dining in or taking out!!!”
“Excellent! We had the house salad … like no house salad I’ve ever had! Lots of goodies, super tasty and the large was plenty for two! My hubby had rigatoni carbonara. I had the crab raviolini. We also ordered bread service ($7 was a bit high).Rigatoni carbonara was very tasty but extremely rich. He wished it would have been cut with an acid for balance. My ravolini was perfect in flavor and size.We sat at the bar (not our fave but we didn’t have a reso). Stools were NOT comfortable. Bar/waitress (Lora/Lori I’m pretty sure that’s her name) was friendly and solicitous to us.It was great to be in a neighborhood (and not in the Old Port). We’ve driven by the restaurant and never been inside … glad we did this time. We’ll be back!”
“Delicious food, vegan meals snd desserts, wide assortment of alcohol, and very friendly personable workers. Nice casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: Great for vegans”
“We had a lovely stay at the Canopy. Per recommendations we had brunch at the Salt Yard. Our food was delicious and customer service was outstanding. Ellie made our delicious lattes and was super friendly. Will definitely come here again. Overall experience was great.”
“Fabulous crafted cocktails! Great small plates! Wonderful staff!”
“My wife and I had an amazing time. We had the chefs choice dinner (I believe that's what it was called). My wife has a food allergy that she can not eat mammals and they were very accommodating and made it a wonderful experience for us. The wait staff and bartender were both friendly and informative. We will definitely return on any future trips to Portland.”
“One guy was running the place when we went in with the kids. There were 5 of us and though it took a second to find the guy... when we did we were so happy we came. The server chef was excellent and so nice. The food was so delicious. I had a keema muttar, and the peas were the best. Yum.Vegetarian options: Great navratan”
“Tremendous food, awesome drinks, loved the staff, upstairs and down. Oysters were gorgeous!!!”
“Walked in with no reservation, had called prior, and was told it could be an hour to two wait. We had our heart set on the prime rib, so of course, we would wait. Just before we left to grab drinks elsewhere while we waited, I asked the lovely ladies if there still is prime rib, a gentleman jumped in and asked what size and he would be sure to not on the reservation and let the kitchen know. We walked out blown away by this customer service. Sat at a bar across the street for less than an hour before we were texted that our table was ready. Upon arrival, the lovely hostesses showed us our seat. Our waitress came over sweet and super attentive. She asked us if we were still interested in the prime rib... how did she know! Great customer service. Come to find out, the communication with the hostess and waitress was impeccable. Again, blown away with the customer service. We were super pleased with our calamari and prime rib dish. Everything was so full of flavor. Come to find out, the gentleman who was kind enough to hold a prime rib for us was Steve Dimillo himself. All around, great experience and huge kudos to that team and owner for a all around fabulous experience!!!”
“Had an absolute blast hosting our Winter Film Challenge kickoff party here. Awesome communication, staff and vibe. Cant wait to come back!”
“We ordered a catered taco bar last week through Bird & Co. for our annual shindig and boy was it worth it! Our spread was incredible. Every item was SO delicious and packaged as cute as can be. Pat made everything so easy for us. No where in town have I received such amazing service. Bird & Co. is my new fav. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”
“Excellent place, the parking is limited but I won't take points off for it. Had an absolutely delicious burger!Parking: Had to use street parking but I showed up on a busy night during peak dinner hours, just something to consider!”
“Best food!! First time in the area and we highly recommend Rebel Cheesesteaks!! Caught him at Portland Zoo :)”
“Let me start off by saying the food is amazing and the sourdough is perfect. The host was nice and welcoming. My only concern would be the time it took for us to be seated. Took about 40 minutes, but I do understand that they have very minimal seating to begin with. Take it to go if you are hungry, if not wait for a seat to open up.”
“Always very interesting (but delicious) wines by the glass to offer, and the service is outstanding. The little market has some lovely essentials. The space is very cool and the concept is perfect. Tempted stop in any time I walk by.”
“Waiter was great, food was awesome and the service was just as good. I asked if I could buy a bar mat and the waiter gave me two. The owner came out and introduced herself to us afterwards. 5 stars”
“Amazing beer. Friendly Staff. Cozy atmosphere. Good people. Go there!”
“The food was SPECTACULAR! Even the carnivores in our group enjoyed it!”
“So glad our hotel bartender recommended this place for breakfast! The Migas Burrito was AMAZING. Flavors were on point. They obviously put a lot of care into their craft!”
“I didn’t get her name but they had a very soft voice, what an amazing bartender! Would recommend going earlier for a very relaxed atmosphere, after a couple drinks people love to hear themselves talk and it gets louder.”
“Heavy crockery, preheated, kept both the sandwich & soup nice and warm. The carrot-ginger soup was outstanding. The half sandwiches (Reuben, chicken) were delicious, albeit diminutive. Our server was very pleasant. The meal seemed to take a long time to come to the table, and since there were but two tables occupied in the restaurant, I suspect the burden lies on the kitchen and not on the server.”
“This place is great for room service or eating in the restaurant. Friendly staff, friendly guests, and multiple comfortable places to sit and chill. I stay at the adjacent hotel 3+ times a year because of the food options, bar and location.”
“We were in Portland for a long Weekend. Benkay was just two blocks from our hotel, the reviews were good, So happy we tried this restaurant, everything was more than perfect! Impossible for me now to go to Portland without having dinner at Benkay! can't wait to return. I strongly recommend !!! WoW!”
“This might be the best overall bourbon list I have ever seen at an establishment. Prices were reasonable as well. I just wished they opened earlier than 4pm. Burger next door at Rigby is 5 stars.”
“There was no one else inside and we were a little worried, but the food was amazingly delicious. People are missing out by not giving this gem in the rough a try! I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. Prices aren’t bad, especially for Portland…I wish there had been more butter chicken because it was so good, but I left feeling very full. My partner had the mango chicken and he said it was delicious.”
“Great food, innovative cocktails, great folks! Go see them. Thank you Tim, appreciate you brother!!”
“Our drinks, appetizers and meals were incredibly delicious! Our waitress was top-notch.”
“Already looking forward to next visit to try the rest of the menu. Started with salsas and tostadas, best salsa I've had in Maine. The muchroom Hauracha was delicious and I was glad to see refried beans on the menu. Staff were attentive and friendly and atmosphere was cozy. The only con is I wish they had their rolled tacos from the takeout window on the menu, I miss those.”
“This was one of the best dining experiences I've had. Tina was a fantastic server and made our anniversary dinner memorable. WARNING⚠️: if you eat here you will have dreams about the food for a while afterwards, be prepared. It was amazing. Gluten free dumplings is something that my wife and I have searched for everywhere for years and had come to believe it wasn't possible. Well, not only did they have them here, they were excellent! And the orange beef was so good I seriously want to go get another one as carryout and package it up and overnight it home so I have it again when I get home.If you are still on the fence, just go here. Unless you are afraid of good food haunting your dreams, maybe then consider some mediocre place.Dietary restrictions: Really great for gluten free!”
“This was a small tasting room compared to most other breweries I’ve visited in the past. However, this is where size really doesn’t matter as it boils down to the potency and flavor of their brews. I have never heard of them previously (also did not even know they were the first NE craft brewery) but noticed patrons walking in and out from the other side of the street. I asked a local friend that I was with and he simply told me to go get a flight in, which I did not hesitate in the least to do.Definitely was worth checking out when in the area. There were a bunch of locals hanging out in there with various brews in their hands. They were obviously proud of the place and welcomed me in as I ordered two flights to taste most of what they had to offer. $20 to taste 8 brews with lovely locals to chat with? Absolutely worth it.Good stuff. Definitely stop by if you’re traveling through.”
“As much as I enjoyed this restaurant I am giving it a four star rating as I think they are pricing themselves too high. Yes I am aware of the inflation but $13 for a glass of beer, and $30 for a burger with bacon and fries is a little too financially ambitious. Otherwise I really enjoyed myself.”
“We popped in after a show and enjoyed every sip and bite. A varier of small plates that included Korean Fried Chicken (tender thigh meat with a perfect amount of kick), Jalapeño Tempura (delicious), Grilled Mackerel (too salty for our taste but beautiful presentation), and Chicken Meatballs (three-bite meatballs w/a demi glaze and egg yolk) as well as a Salmon Poke Bowl. The server (filling in for the bartender) recommended thé Soju (the Korean version of Sake). I am now a fan and on the hunt for it in Central Maine. All the staff was wonderful and service was swift. What a gem in the middle of Old Port! We will definitely go here again and want to try the bbq downstairs (think diy hibachi!)”
“Delicious food! The whole crew enjoyed all our food.”
“Portland has a lot of bars but this one definitely my favorite! The atmosphere and vibe is on point. Food and drinks are excellent. This is the kind of place you’d wanna hit up at least once a week”
“We had dinner here late on a Tuesday night after a Portland Sea Dogs game. The service was excellent and friendly and the food and drinks came out fast. The “adult lunchables” appetizer was good but not remarkable and I probably wouldn’t order it again. However, the smash burger was SO GOOD. I would come back here just for that.”

Jim our waiter must have lit the table candle 50 times for my granddaughter to keep blowing it out ! Brunos rocks !”
“Great food and drinks. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere. My favorite place in Portland!”
“Some of us don't get there often. 2 hours away. Visit the FB page for updates. appreciate the pictures of the dancers. Wish there were more & with names, so when I get there, I know which ones I'm looking for. I know it's a better night for me when Missy is tending bar.”
“My friend and I went to Noble for lunch it was my very first time and I loved the food. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile. Ordered our lunch which was so delicious. The staff was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend this place.”
“Awesome ! thank you so much for doing our summer picnic at Mmp 5 Bucknam Road”
“Oh My God what a gem this place is! First off when you walk in it smells incredible. I had the Godmother grilled cheese. It was so good I couldn't hold a conversation......or maybe it was their margaritas!! Anyway the sandwich was unbelievable and the "secret sauce" on the side for dipping is something I didn't think I needed but ended up wanting to be buried in!”
“My family went to the Maine mall to stop by bestbuy and we noticed Soul Food Paradise. We decided to try it and were blown away. The catfish melts in your mouth, and the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were excellent. The chicken, both j**** bbq, and fried was all great, and each meal came with a corn muffin. 5/5, will go again.”
“The food here is absolutely unique and delicious! I had oysters, whole sea bass (stuffed with rice), green beans with feta, eggplant ... each dish distinctive and perfectly prepared. It's got to be one of the best restaurants in Portland.”

“We are regulars and love the Grill Room. Every time we walk in we’re greeted by the friendly staff. We usually opt for bar seating and everyone behind the bar is so nice! The food is delicious. Everything on the menu (the steak and more) is so well prepared and a real treat. Last night Lexie knew the menu backwards and forwards and made the most delicious martinis. Makenzie and Ryan are also a pleasure behind the bar. We feel so welcome whenever we visit through the food and the service. I definitely recommend this great establishment!”
“We got the half and half for take out. The food was great ! Hot and ready when we got there.Vegetarian options: There were a few options listed and you can build your own flatbread.”
“We dined at the corner room during our first visit to Portland after getting the recommendation from a Portland resident we were speaking with. It was outside of the waterfront area so we wouldn't have noticed it. It was excellent!! It's a small restaurant so we were glad we made a reservation. The food is Italian- homemade pastas and delicious. We started with the arancini and each choose the orchichette with sausage. We chose the smaller size dish on the advice of our waitress Leanna as we were staying in a hotel. The portions were so generous we ended up with leftovers anyway which we made fit in the mini fridge it was too good to leave behind! Leanna was great, her smile and enthusiasm added to our wonderful experience. If you are visiting Portland area for a few days give yourself a break from all the seafood and eat here, you will be happy you did.”
“I was seated quickly, the food was delicious and the service was great as well. I will definitely go back the next time I’m in Portland.”
“Our group of 4 adults and 6 children had a great time! The booth was perfect for us with a couple of chairs and the food/drinks were all amazing! The customer service was also fabulous!”
“Fabulous. Online menu does not cover their creativity and I'm sure the daily menu changes are significant. FOOD was outstanding — we had the scallop ceviche, an excellent grilled shrimp tacos, Quesailla, Tamale and a fascinating Cabbage dish that we all shared. Service was attentive and informative as a number of ingredients are unique and may need explanation. Definitely a place to return and recommend! Well done!”
“I love this place because it's casual and all about the view. So nice to sit outside on a nice day. We just grabbed a couple of appetizers, calamari and clam cakes, and both were good. You order and pay at the counter, then they bring you your food. So, it's got a clam shack vibe, which is cool. Always a good spot for a quick bite.”
“There are a variety of excellent small restaurants along the docks in Portland and we certainly enjoyed the porthole and having an excellent Lobster lunch, great local atmosphere”

“We were blown away with the prompt service and excellent food given that it was Cinco de Mayo. What really showed what an excellent establishment this is was despite being extremely busy, upon arrival there was a blind gentleman in front of us looking to enjoy the night and the host took notice and was beyond professional and displayed one of the most genuine examples of kindness. He helped the gentleman sit down while waiting for a seat and even guided him to his table when it was time to seat. Above and beyond that while hosting he was also running tables and delivering food. He was extremely polite and attentive and showed that he was doing it because of the love of his job and not just because he had to. We were also fortunate enough to leave the restaurant as the man who he helped in the beginning was leaving. The host took it up on himself to walk the gentleman outside and make sure he safely made it into his Uber all whilst it was pouring rain! It was very refreshing to see this kind of thing in a world so full of negativity! Kudos to this establishment and specifically the host! Happy Cinco de Mayo!”
“Outstanding GF menu!! Delicious drinks. Great service. Thanks for that J!”
“Great selection with unique combinations. Favorite was the Ricotta Cheese & Fig but all are great quality. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Samples are not a problem. I will return. Don't miss the best gelato in Portland.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options.”
“This gelato place was excellent! They let you get as many flavors as you want in any size. I went with two flavors in a small, but the combinations are endless! The gelato was rich, creamy, and delicious. Plus, the service was lovely. Highly recommend!”
