“Our first time having legit Detroit-style pizza and it didn’t disappoint (coming from an admitted pizza snob). We were in town for the Thunder Over Michigan air show. Being exhausted from the workdays event, we were searching for comfort in a delicious, warm pizza on a rainy night. Wanting to dine-in, we passed on a few other closer pizzerias to our hotel. Service was excellent & friendly (our server chatted with us about the airplanes and that her son was planning on education in the aviation field). Pizza was tasty and quick to the table. It was late evening; but, this did not affect the quality of service or the food. Well lit, clean interior and a cool place to visit. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely visit again. Thank you all for the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.“

“A true NYC style pizza in Michigan! Brought back memories of pizza from Queens, NY. I should have asked for the pizza to be cooked a bit longer for crispier crust but otherwise it was excellent. I also tried a slice of the caprese and it was also delicious.“

“Actually was seated at the bar, thought I was going to have another quiet & boring evening eating alone. Actually it turned out that a beautiful woman also joined the bar alone, nothing was said. I had to ask though how such a beautiful woman was able to get away to have dinner alone, she said she just walked out and was going out to get something to eat, spraticly we would share words between bites to eat. As she was about to leave she had thanked me, but it was truly I that should have been me thanking her for such a wonderful dinner.Parking: No bicycle parking!“

“This place menu is quite diverse in salads and pizza. I have tried it several times and the food is ok in general. Anything I tried never wowed me but it was delicious enough to go back. Bur I live the many seating options both in summer and winter. Really spacious and nice atmosphere, good for big groups. One problem is they don’t split checks. They say they take multiple payments but it becomes way to complicated and we always end up paying each our companies.Parking: There is a big parking lot but it’s also a busy area so sometimes challenging to find a spot“

“I want this restaurant to succeed! We need good pizza downtown.The pizza was very tasty and the salads were really generously sized.The only problem was that we took out, and the hot pizza was placed directly into the box without a liner to slightly hold it off the bottom, so it was soggy instead of crisp. Detroit pizza should be crisp.The leftovers were perfect when heated in the oven, since it crisped the crust.“

“This one is a little bit of a mixed bag. Some of the staff are a little grouchy, and the food is okay. Really only come in the warmer weather months cuz the best seating is the outside courtyard. That all being said, the sangria and strawberry drink make it all worth it lol. I definitely come here at least a few times a summer. It's a campus staple.“
