“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. Wine, was by the glass and was both red and white and light, semidry and elegant. Our perfect dinner ended the perfect evening. Thank you 220 Merrill for a wonderful 50th.“

“Social consistently has great food. Got the burger because the waitress said it was the best thing there (I hadn’t had it yet) and it really was quite good. We sat on the roof (which I had never done before either) and that was nice in downtown Birmingham. Lastly, our waitress was very pleasant and never left us wanting for anything. “Such a lively place in downtown Birmingham! The burger here is one of my favorites in the area. The grilled cheese and the tenderloin appetizer were some other favorites. The nachos and buffalo wings have also been recommended by other people. Service was very efficient and friendly.“

“Cute little place in downtown Pontiac. Loved the NY theme with the colorful lights. Excited to go back when it's warm out so we can check out the rooftop. Definitely enjoyed the music videos playing on all screens. Bartenders were extremely nice and attentive. Drinks and food were fairly priced. We loved the chickfilla sandwich. The toppings were fresh and the bun was super soft. Bang bang sauce was perfectly spicy. The famous bowl poutine had a lot of cheese and gravy. The chicken was crunchy. The sandwich and regular size poutine was enough for 2.“

“The burgers really are worth coming in for, they’re really tasty. Beer prices are a bit higher than I’d expect for this type of bar. Always interesting conversation with fellow patrons at the bar.Overall, a fantastic neighborhood spot for a quick bite and beer when you’re fending for yourself for dinner.“

“Everything was good, not great. I was basically at 3 1/2, maybe 3 and 3/4 Stars.I tried some new item, macaroni and cheese with some sweet barbecue sauce sliced brisket on top of it. Didn't really like the barbecue sauce. So so overall.The thing that really bothers me is that there's a mandatory 20% tip fee on all food. This shouldn't be allowed.I find it really annoying.They didn't even have it posted, as arguably they need to legally but even if they don't need to legally they should still do so. I just noticed since that was last there they now do have it posted.I will tell them that I'm a 25% tipper. And if they only want 20%, lol, it's okay with me.Thanks and good luck“

“Mia is incredible. We have done birthdays at Mia’s for the last 3 years. The Halloween party and Karaoke nights are so much fun. It’s great to see everyone so involved and happy. We love the food and drinks! She helped us set up for the parties we’ve had and the staff always makes sure the bellies are full and the drinks are flowing. It’s impossible to not have a good time here. We’ve had breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner and it never disappoints.“

“The huge selection of games they have here cannot be beat. The food and drink combined with reserving a table can make the experience slightly pricey, but if you factor in the gaming options, it makes the price feel far more worth it!I love their fries, their specialty drinks, and most of the food I've tried, but there's just one food item I wouldn't recommend. I've ordered their 4 square personal pizza a number of times, and almost every time, it has come out burnt enough that it no longer tastes very good to me. I kept trying to give it another chance, but I think I'll be stick to the other great food they have to offer in the future!“

“We were in a hotel near the Madhouse, and went there several times. The food was terrific and the staff attentive and friendly. The baked cod was a highlight, and as we are from the Washington state coast, that is saying something. We will be back.“

“An absolute staple. Renshaw is easily my favorite bar around. Their food is as good as "bar food" gets, and you truly just cannot beat a $2.50 beer. Add pull tabs AND TouchTunes? I'm in heaven. Couldn't recommend this enough. Service has always been above average, even when going with an entire softball team after our games.“

“Can’t beat the $10 burger and brew deal on Mondays! They have a great selection of draft beer, canned and bottled options, and of course an immaculate collection of spirits. Natalie offered great and attentive service at the bar rail and the manager Jake was more than willing to spend an extra few minutes educating us on our whiskey choices. “I went to the one in Troy, for over a decade. Re: Rochester, I had some extraordinary chicken fajitas, pizza's is decent, pastas is okay, but more importantly, it's a rare place in Oakland county where you can have a variety of dishes and they're all pretty much down the pipe. Burgers are extremely good, and the staff is friendly with lots of smiles and good eye candy (cute staff), lots of TV's, and the lights aren't obnoxious, what more do you want?“

“I love their patio. I got their blood orange margarita- tasty with that cinnamon sugar rim! The fried green beans were good, but had that dirty oil taste like fair food. They have good ranch! The saganaki is great and they give you enough pita wedges to eat it with. I'd go back to try their other food and drinks!“

“Went after work on a Thursday night. Place was pretty busy but they sat us right away anyhow. I ordered the potato soup which was super yummy, I ended up saving it so I could bring it home. I also ordered the Nachos which was an appetizer, it was pretty big and I was not able to finish it by myself. Chips and flavor were delicious. The waitress was really nice and friendly as well. “Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“Went to see friends perform here. Every time, there is one bartender who is busy. It's a wait to order food or drinks. They also want you to bring your glass back to the bar. And, the place gets very warm. This place has a great sound for bands. Local hangout for some.“

“Stopped here while staying at a hotel nearby. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait but ended up getting seated in less than five minutes. (On a busy Saturday night). The host and waiter were extremely pleasant! Me and my guest had buffalo boneless wings, and the chicken tacos. Both were delicious! We also had a couple cocktails, which were also crafted perfectly! Overall, it was a great experience; one that I would definitely enjoy again!“

“J’s is our favorite go-to spot. The staff are truly awesome - so kind and go out of their way for customers, especially Jake who we cannot say enough nice things about. Food is always excellent, far far above & beyond typical bar food - love everything from their dill pickle pizza to wings to salads to delicious chicken tenders. Take-out pizza is also a great option. And drinks are consistently flowing. Great place to watch games or just hang out on any given night. Proud to call this place our fave neighborhood haunt!!“
