“I really thought all BWs were the same. No matter where you went, they arent great, but at least they are consistent. Man, was I wrong.First off the hostess was extremely nice, and got us a seat in the bar section with no wait. Our waitress arrived within a couple of minutes. She was just as nice. She took our order promptly. Our beverages came quick, and the food in record time.Usually the wings are small, and the sauce is sparing...not at this location. For the first time that I can remember, my dry rubbed wings were actually completely covered in dry rub. They also were quite big, not like the tiny ones I usually get at the southgate location. They were cooked to perfection, in short...they were excellent.Beverage refills without asking, and in the way out we were told thank you by at least 6 staff members. I think I may have found the gem of BWs in my area.Message to corporate...Keep this staff happy, they are killing it for you guys. This should be a flagship location.“

“I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!“

“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. “I've been eating at Vivio's for 40 years, and their food has been consistently delicious and fresh. Recently, our table of 8 loved their pizza (artichoke and so wonderful), seafood sandwich (shrimp and bay scallops and cheese), and the sliders were the best in SE Michigan, in my opinion!!! Always busy on weekends, but the wait was worth it.“

“Closer to 3.5 stars. Low buck operation charging fancier prices. Cardboard serving-ware and plasticware filling the landfills.Kudos to their social media people, we fell for it. Looked great online. Disappointing in person. Must be a downtown Wyandotte thing with lackluster experience for higher prices due to rent costs. This was the 3rd and last time I make the drive to Wyandotte, south of Ford, for overpriced mediocre food.We passed no less than 15 other similar bars on the drive to try this place because of their IG advertising blitz.Burger was okay for the price, aside from the bun being extremely dry and falling apart. I ate the burger patties mostly with my fingers as the bun was falling apart. Fries are a sad little paper dish for $4? Super Pretzel? $6? ($3.00 at the mall). Nothing but a single pretzel from a Sam's Club box of frozen pretzels. I had them before. A real Super Pretzel comes in a Large Pizza box, like I've had in Algonac, at a marina, for $10. And that's waterside!$51.00 bill for 2 people during Happy Hour? Dbl Burger, Cheeseburger, 1 tiny cardboard cup of fries ($4), Stuper Pretzel ($6), 2 mules (on Happy Hour $6 ea), 2 can Stroh's ($4 ea!!!). Moscow mules were inconsistent between the 2. Completely different taste.I went to a Garage themed place in Dearborn for Happy Hour earlier in the week and spent $21. Had amazing Meatloaf sliders ($6), 3 Bluemoons ($3 ea) and Soft Pretzel sticks($6) I shared with 2 others.Normally we tip 20% of full price during Happy Hour. No reason to short the staff. But there were no deals today.We definitely prefer the long standing bar with a boat on the roof in Wyandotte for less money and the same experience. Next time, I'll just go there.Yes, everything is more expensive these days. But we frequent various establishments 2x a week and my review is solely based on comparable prices for like kind food in a similar atmosphere.There's a popular place closer to home where we spend $50 plus tip everytime we go, without Happy Hour. Pretty much the same as we ordered here. But, there's real silverware, real plates or baskets, larger serving sizes and food quality is better. I guess we just continue going there and stop trying new things.“

“I believe Jeremy was the name of our server last nigh and was amazing . We stopped in before going to a Pistons game and weren't from the area. we were very impressed with the speed of service and taste of the food. I got the Bavrian pretzels they were bigger than what I expected and the Pub cheese was amazing“

“Our usual server, Erin, makes this place our go to for family dinners. The food has been AMAZING since the new ownership, but Erin’s service has made Sports a standout for our family. She is quick to attend to our needs, and she’s always extra kind and attentive to our son and our dog (when the patio is open). “Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “Great Irish pub style bar tucked off a busy road. Great service drinks and tasty bar food. Recommend the Ramona which is a nice twist on the Reuben switching sweet coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. Friendly staff and love the design and Irish atmosphere! Highly “

“I absolutely love this place. I always make it there on a Friday night, for obvious reasons, LOL! The bartenders are a joy to be around, and really bring the atmosphere together. The beers are cheap, and the food is decent for bar food (I normally get the buffalo wrap or the steak bites). Mostly an older crowd, but everyone is there to have a good time and that’s what I always have! Can’t go wrong with a bucket of beer.“

“J’s is our favorite go-to spot. The staff are truly awesome - so kind and go out of their way for customers, especially Jake who we cannot say enough nice things about. Food is always excellent, far far above & beyond typical bar food - love everything from their dill pickle pizza to wings to salads to delicious chicken tenders. Take-out pizza is also a great option. And drinks are consistently flowing. Great place to watch games or just hang out on any given night. Proud to call this place our fave neighborhood haunt!!“
