Wow their coffee was incredible I tried the double mocha latte fappeatto and it blew my mind. Super great owners and a very nice staff. Highly recommend them as the best coffee spot around.
what the actual F this place has an absolutely killer egg sandwich that I cannot stop thinking about. I do not live in Detroit I was just there for a pit stop and now I am waking up at my home that is far from Detroit and wishing I could have this egg sandwich. The flavors go pow.

Alba is a beautiful reactivation of the space that formerly housed Astro. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable, and most importantly they have a variety of food that includes substantial options like breakfast burritos and a take on the legendary egg boi sandwich. It's surprisingly difficult to find a cafe with good coffee and solid savory options in the D right now so I'm thrilled about this.
