“We made an impromptu visit to Detroit's Mexicantown neighborhood on an unseasonably warm day. The bakery is across the street from Clark Park, has easy street parking, and had the most amazing selection of sweet treats. And then we saw the case of warm savory items, and our lunch plan was set - empanadas and treats in the park. The hardest thing was picking, and the Buttercream Yo Yo won. It was huge and flavorful and satisfying. The two empanadas I tried were equally good - one with chicken and one with ham and cheese. The prices were great and the service was friendly. Definitely recommend!“
