“Legendary neighborhood bar, great picture of vanishing way of life. Plenty of space for welcoming a tour bus, plenty of intimacy to relax for a couple of hours. We visited the cigar room which has some amazing artifacts of century+ of its existence. No food but up to date drink menu, including NA beers and liquor.“
“Beautiful odds and ends for the decor inside, I love its rugged look, but it's still very clean. I went on suggestion for the Tuesday night open deck to play a couple of my vinyls. It was my first time being a DJ, I had such a fun time! I had a couple Angry Orchards and the bar tender was lovely and very patient~♡“
“It’s like a cheers atmosphere. Everyone is so nice. The food is tasty and fresh. Bob is the best like a Clint Eastwood you can hug. Dave is cool and cooks excellent. The drinks are good and affordable. Try a game of pool or just chillax to good music. Crowd mixed. Bathroom is clean.“
“I first learned of this bar from watching the Tim Robinson show "Detroiters" (fantastic, funny show if you haven't seen it). It's a chill dive bar in downtown Detroit. It's within walking distance if you're going to an event at Little Caesar's Arena or the Masonic Temple. Drink prices are a little higher than I expected. The bartenders and patrons are friendly and talkative. They have DJs on certain days of the week. Be sure to check out the mural in the back.“

“No food menu other than a soup of the day made by the barmaids mother. Whatever she feels like cooking, the day we visited is split pea, and not a fan of peas, this was loaded with chunks of ham and potatoes. Very stick to your ribs soup. A shot and a beer rounded out the “meal” the bartender was super friendly even had us sign her up”out of towners” book as we were from Alabama. When you search dive bar this is a go too place. Don’t let the doorbell deter you, or the seedy neighborhood. Stop in and see the “Oldest Bar in Detroit”“
“This place was amazing, the owner Mr. Bob, great guy, and cooks a mean steak. Best flavor I've had in a while. The bartender was an honest , sweet lady. Even tried to overpay, she did me right...gave my money back... Whats that say in Detroit...“
“This is the epitome of a local dive bar in the heart of the city. The owners are friendly and fun and it's like the cheers bar where everyone knows your name, unless you're new. Then we won't know your name until you tell us.“

“Lenny's is a new bar on Mack, not far from Apt Disco. It was a bar previously so long-time residents will remember that. It's a good mix of dive, craft cocktails, and sports bar. They have TVs for the games and a pool table and darts maybe? Probably...I really like the craft cocktail menu that is mostly classics and around $8 to $10. Citadelle gin is their house gin so they are already tops in my book. I've tried the French 75, Daquari, and Airmail, all delicious. You can definitely get easy drinks like a gin and tonic or rum and coke too. Their house rum is Plantation, another good sign. They do have hard seltzers there but I think it's White Claw and not Topo Chico which seems to be the preferred brand in my demographic. And naturally, a variety of local and mainstream beers across all price points.Check their social media to see what games are playing and who is working the bar and if there are any specials running. They've only been open a couple weeks and it's fast becoming my before and after spot. Cheers!“
