We stumbled onto this place when we were walking around Detroit. It's extremely good. Me and my wife shared a number of small plates and loved all of them. The owner is from Spain and is very nice. The bartender was also very nice, attentive and informative. You can also purchase wines and other Spanish foods to take home. Reservations are recommended. We got there close to when they were open and sat at the bar, so getting in wasn't bad.
Pilar was so welcoming that I told her it felt like she invited us into her home! We didn't have a reservation, but arrived at a non-peak time and were seated at the bar. G gave us impeccable service! We shared several dishes, enjoyed a couple of drinks, and bought some items from the mercado to take home for us and to share with family. We will absolutely come back! Excellent service. Variety of foods to order are great! Both hot and cold choices are available. Recommend the Chorizo and Grilled Squid Fillet. Also, Patatas Bravas dish does have great flavor!As stated by the waiter, the sangria is definitely sweet!! Just an FYI.Convenient street parking with the Detroit Parking app.
