Try the cardiac burger, served in a glazed donut. The price is a little steep, but for downtown Detroit not too bad. The selection in the market is good—BBQ chicken from the pit is good value and the sauce selection while limited, are all good.
My hubby and i went to Wings game and got delayed in traffic so ended up near Greektown Casino. Went in to their Market place to see what was at casino for dinner and found Tia Loca for dinner. Surprisingly good. They had a nice blend of different type foods. This beats Chiptole Grill hands down. The seasonings were not too hot but really good flavor. Nice options too.

There is a bakery in the market area. There are a few restaurants besides this bakery. Wowza. If you like pastries this is a dream come true! They have different types of coffee and so many selections of pastries. My favorite was the almond croissant. I bought 6 just to take home. They have a good selection of cookies too.
