6 Best Soup in Detroit

“Have come here a few times since moving to Detroit. It's in a very old mostly abandoned industrial part of the city along the Detroit River, made better by nice new development nearby, adjoining a portion of the beautiful Detroit River Walk, and on a strip near the Atwater Grill with other businesses. Very nostalgic looking business whose interior including bathrooms have certainly seen better days, but made comfortable by the nice wait staff and VERY HOSPITABLE owner who is most always available and a pleasure to chat with. Generally speaking the food here is very good. I'd call this a must visit little foray into old Detroit, where you can get a nice meal and drinks well off the beaten path. I like it.“

“STELLAR SERVICE I haven’t had the opportunity to dine at Table No.2. However, I would like to speak to the level of professionalism, integrity, impressive disposition, and good taste the owner, Omar , exudes. I attended an event held at one of his other restaurants last night in Royal Oak where I had the opportunity to observe his attention to detail and his interactions with guests. To say he is accommodating and pleasant is a vast understatement. He is the epitome of what doing “Good Business”entails--something to be truly appreciated and admired! “I love this place. It's really the healthy while VERY tasty food options. It's still kind of hard to find healthy food in the area thats vegetable-focused but here you have meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. I always get the citrus chicken wrap and the spiced hibiscus drink is amazing. I hope they stay open because we need good options like this. They also have a ton of great snacks that I always take to my studio. The price is a tiny bit higher but it feels worth if for the freshness of the food and the outdoor area is super nice on both warm and cold days (they have heaters).“

“Dough structure for pazcki was ON POINT! Delicious enriched dough. The strawberry jalapeño filling could have used more jalapeños, I didn’t taste it at all. Still delicious strawberry none the less. Pierogi is always on point, delicious dough stuffed with delicious fillings. There are no better pierogi in the metro Detroit area, period!“
