“I usually don't write reviews, I just read them. But after my experience at this awesome restaurant, I had to write something. Let's start with my one and only complaint, which is completely understandable, the Time.!!! Because of the pandemic, mostly all restaurants are understaffed. It took an hour to get our food!!! With that being said, ....once our food was served, the disappointment of the wait quickly disappeared. The Food WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! Out server was Manny, but because he was sooo busy, Norman stepped in to help. The 2 of them really made my daughter's birthday special! We will definitely be back!!!!!“

“Maru is a trendy restaurant with a lot of space. It was dead on a Wednesday night. I was able to find paid street parking around the corner without too much hassle. I ordered the strawberry basil lemonade mocktail and found it to be too sweet. The hibachi chicken was good but the rice was a little too salty. I liked the yum yum sauce and the large veggie portion. The service was good.“

“Arrived at ZuZu and we were greeted by friendly hostess . We were seated promptly and our waitress Skylar was right there . Placed our drink and appetizer order which both were very tasty. Then ordered a steak and lamb chops. My steak was cooked to perfection, tender juicy and was so flavorful. Lamb chops were fantastic and both presentations were great. During our meal Stephanie the GM stopped to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and everything was to our satisfaction . It was a wonderful night experience and will definitely be returning. Great staff, food and location. Outside bar and tables were busy on this beautiful night .“

“I stopped in after landing at DTw searching for top season food options for lunch. The waitress Taylor was amazing but the food was just ok. Quite pricey 15 gas station like salad, sushi was fresh, ordered oysters they were not charbroiled or flavorful had too much cheese they arrived at table Luke warm sent them back says they were put In oven they were still Luke warmMy friend ordered the fried shrimp it was 31 for 5 sprain but that was the best thing at the entire table. We wanted crab boil but ended up here instead.200 later for 3 people with a 1 mohito... I wasn't impressed“

“I was hanging out in the downtown area for 313 Day and stopped in for sushi. The service by Sarah was good. She was courteous, friendly and attentive. An artist too who drew a caricature of us. It's got a quaint atmosphere. I ordered the Firecracker roll, shrimp tempura roll, CA roll and a ramen bowl. The rolls were decent. My daughter liked her ramen although it was spicy. They didn't have low sodium soy which I prefer as regular soy is too salty to me. I would go back. Would I go out of my way to? Not so much.“

“Truly outstanding. Me & my partner had varying hot & cold plates with some Sashimi so we could explore the nice amount of options. Everything left us wanting more.We tried the Snow Beef Wagyu & it lived up to its snow aged rumors…truly one of the best if not the best meats I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.I was skeptical when my partner wanted to get the fried octopus thinking it might be too generic…my bad because it was the best octopus I’ve had. So soft & moist since they marinade it for 4 hours prior.The Udon was the finisher for us & it was perfect with the pork, noodles, and broth all being delicious.Looking forward to my next experience here & trying the Philly location.“
