They made me really happy. They made me smile. And a bonus…just ask what drink to pair with each plate and you’ll get a perfect recommendation. Borrow some time out of your busy life and go to Borrowed Time. It’s time well spent.”

“If you have ever wondered what it is like to be a part of a big Italian family where everyone is in the kitchen cooking and having a great time doing it...Pizza Mambo is that place! It's a little bit of Italy in the Midwest! We had such a fun time here! Being new to the area, they welcomed us like we were old family friends. The Caesar salad was fresh with homemade dressing and the pizza was delicious! We've also had David's homemade lasagna which came complete with a hand-decorated box to go! Oh! And you must try the key lime pie! That's homemade too! We love this place and the people here!”

“Delicious gelatos and sorbettos. They have a great variety of flavors for purchase. We always stock up on the individual serving cups and ice cream sandwiches, but they have larger sized cartons. I also noticed they have a growing selection of vegan options. We first had their gelatos and ice cream sandwiches in local restaurants and it's nice being able to get them for home. The individual serving cups are $5 or 10 for $40. They always have great service.”

“We had an amazing dining experience last night. The food, as always, was wonderful but our waiter, Micheal, made the entire evening so great. My wife is recovering from foot surgery and the walk from our boat at Tower Marine was quite painful for her. Not only did Michael set up a chair for her foot, he gave all of us a ride home - in his car! He’s a fabulous server but an even better person. Thanks so much Michael!”

“We’ve been here multiple times and have always had a great experience. It’s the perfect spot for a date night or to hang out with friends for high end cocktails. Food options are limited, but good. They are also dog friendly, which is a huge plus!”

The staff were so nice and my only frustration with this restaurant, is that it's 2 1/2 hours from where we live so we can't get there more often, but we will be back.”

“First time here, and the food was delicious. The chicken came out quickly, so quickly, I was concerned it would be dry from sitting around. Instead, it was juicy, succulent, and perfectly seasoned (not too salty). Shared sides of grits, greens, coleslaw, and delicious pickles. Mac and cheese was good, but not $18 good. I prefer my grits a bit finer and creamer, but still ended up scraping the bowl! View of the river was lovely and am sure would be wonderful to sit outside on a warmer day. Would love to make this place part of a regular dining rotation, but thought it was a bit pricey even by today's standard.”
