“5 stars all around the board! I went to Sweetie Maries to get some ice cream for my daughter and I.The ice cream was rich and flavorful and I left with a couple of cookies too. The inside decor was beautiful and the flower wall was my daughters favorite! Perfect for photos. The owner and staff were so friendly, big smiles and helpful. After engaging in conversation I learned that the bakery can be used for kids parties and cake lessons, so I booked my daughters bday party right on the spot and ordered my cake as well! It was truly a great experience and I would highly recommend!“

“This place is such a gem! I've visited the downtown Detroit area three times in the past six months, and this is my favorite place to waste the afternoon! The coffee is delicious and the pastries and tarts are absolutely out of this world! The corner location with the large windows makes it the perfect spot to soak up some afternoon sun with a good book. The staff has been the same each visit and they are all so nice and helpful when selecting the perfect dessert!“

“Great atmosphere and prices. Their Cafe Miel (honey latte) was a spot-on dupe for Madcap's, and not too sweet which I appreciate! Pastries were awesome too. The chocolate croissant was so good and didn't shatter into a million crumbs like most croissants, so it's safe to eat in the car, lol.“
