Taste of China sometimes serves food where I work, Stellantis Detroit Mack Assembly plant... The food is usually good, but the business practices can be shady... Today I ordered General Tso's Chicken, on the menu for $8.95... When I ordered, the lady asked if I wanted the shrimp or the chicken fried rice as the side. I chose chicken. When I went to pay, my total was $3 too high... She said it was because I ordered the Combo, not the General Tso's Chicken... The word "combo" never came out of my mouth. She said it becomes a combo when you add fried rice to the chicken instead of white rice... She never offered me white rice! She asked if I wanted chicken or shrimp! On top of all of that, the General Tso's chicken was just chicken nuggets with KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce! I've liked literally everything else I've ordered here before.
