“Came here today and I really liked their food. I got the chicken and black bean sauce, crab rangoon, and egg drop soup.The chicken was fork cut tender and the black bean sauce was excellent. Large portion enough for 2 meals for me. It came with steamed rice and choice of soup. I am always in search of a good egg drop soup. They have it, large bits of egg and true egg taste. Consistency is perfect and the fried wonton they serve with it are fresh and homemade. The rangoon- oh so good. It comes with 4 in an order but they are so large it's like getting 8! There were nice sized pieces of crab and green onion, the shell was super crisp not soggy at all. The sauce they come with, is awesome one of the best I have had.it was tangy and sweet but not like syrup. Total bill was $18 something for essentially the 2 meals I made out of it. I cannot wait to be able to eat there again as a treat. Delicious.BTW bathrooms were super clean.“

“The sweet and sour chicken is not what it used to be. The sauce was vinegary. There were no green peppers or pineapple. The plum sauce for the egg roll was the same.“

“We called to see if it was open on Easter and the employee was kind and very happy and helpful to us. I immediately felt welcomed and so we ordered take out and the website was clear and well organized and we ordered the food. When it was picked up, it was there all ready for us!! It only took 20 minutes. We opened it up and all the food was in plastic containers rather styrofoam! It looked like not enough but once it was opened it was more than enough food!! The food was SO DELICIOUS!! And the prices were great! It was about $10 per person and tasted like Heaven!I surely and confidently recommend this tasty Chinese take out!!“

He was attentive , efficient, friendly and offered good customer service .1/19/2024Came back for a repeat. June was phenomenal, Chris served up a delicious and unique adult concoction that titillated the taste buds and delighted the senses.. Food was plentiful like before, beautiful presentation and was hot. Only suggestion is when serving dishes ordered at the same time, serve them together. Will be back to try something new.“

“First time trying Ah-Ha and was very pleasantly surprised. The crab & shrimp boil was delicious but the cajun seasoning could have been spicier. I was thrilled to find marinated pork belly as the pork in my noodles (pork and vegetable option). This was a "need a towel, not a napkin" kind of meal - messy and great! We liked what we ordered but I would probably try their other offerings next time. C12. Szechuan La-Mian: this vegetarian dish came with loads of different veggies and half an egg in a savory and tangy broth. The Szechuan peppercorn came through but it wasn't too spicy for me. The noodles were chewy and really good. C8. Braised Beef Soup: this noodle soup was savory but I was expecting a bit deeper beef flavor and more spice. But it was comforting. What really stole the show with both dishes was the hand pulled noodles. They were chewy and bouncy.“

“I didn't eat here. Call ahead to have full menu options according to their sign on the door. Hours of Operation aren't correct either. But, in my opinion it's places like this that are going to be amazing. I cannot wait to execute this operation with better preparation next time because everyone around there says it's amazing and worth the extra steps.Every penny they charge goes into food prep and quality. Not a fancy exterior; just doing what you pay them to do. This will be a gem, I guarantee it.“

I'd say the only negative was that they didn't cook here dish properly and when we had them redo it,it still was not what she requested and they did not offer anything to make up for their mistakes. I can understand if they don't want to comp a dish but they should have at least offered her a free dessert to make up for it.“

“This is a hidden jewel of Garden City. First, it did take a little longer then usual to get our food, but we had ordered a lot, and it was just the owners cooking and waiting tables, plus handling the take-out orders. The egg drop soup we've ever had. The egg rolls and spring rolls where amazing. The almond chicken was very good, the fun chow was delicious. This is the first visit, so I hope that the next visit is just as great.“

“I highly recommend this place and it was the best Chinese I've had in years! Got a pickup order on a Saturday night. The dinner specials are affordable and are HUGE portions. We got a sweet and sour chicken special and a kung pao chicken special. Both for less than $30 total for 2 people and we could have fed another human being comfortably. Both specials come with soup and an egg roll (and you can swap the soup for another egg roll). Wonton soup was amazing. Egg rolls were some of the best I've ever had. Kung pao chicken was great. Sweet and sour chicken came with the sauce on the side so the chicken was still crispy and fresh. Again, HUGE portions for both. I finished the king pao and while I didn't regret it in the moment at all, I will regret it when I check the scale tomorrow. Inside looked nice, our pickup order was done early and it was easy as pie picking up. No long wait or anything. Only negative of the entire meal was that the sweet and sour sauce that came on the side had a very odd taste to it - almost like it was a little past due. Hopefully they get a new batch in ASAP.“

I would say the meat selection was not very expansive, but what they did have was very good and hit the hot pot spot for me.“

“Not familiar with Michigan Chinese food as I’m not from here but stopped by this place and it is a gem. Food is decently priced, you can tell the orange chicken was freshly battered and we even received free soup on a snowy day. The man at the register was very friendly. Definitely recommend.“

“Had a great experience here. Anytime I get Chinese food, its always a questions of - how is the egg drop soup, how is the crab ragoon, and of course the entree. I'm happy to report they are the best I've had south of Genesee county! The service was fast and accurate. My only complaint would be that they are a bit expensive compared to the competition. In their defense however one combination dinner is nearly big enough for 2 adults. Recommended.“

“I decided we should have Chinese food for a late lunch, so we headed to Rainbow Restaurant, which was closed. So, I looked on Yelp for another suggestion. I saw that China House Inn was 2 miles away, and the very first review I saw said that it was the best Chinese food the reviewer had in his life, so we decided to try it. Being a little after 3:00, the place was nearly empty; there was one couple there, and after a little while another person walked in. We missed the lunch prices by 15 minutes, but even the dinner prices on the combinations were reasonable. I got almond boneless chicken, and my sister got egg foo young. We also got hot tea that was served in a beautiful metal teapot -- so much fancier and nicer than the usual metal or white china ones. Our food came fairly quickly, and the whole combination was on one plate. The amount was quite generous (the server/cashier even brought boxes without us asking!) and it really was very good. The egg rolls were perfect, the fried rice wasn't greasy or over-fried, and it had visible chunks of chicken in it. My almond boneless chicken was very good -- lightly fried and tasty -- and lots of it! I was very glad to have found this restaurant!“

“I like their food. Their portion sizes are just right for me. Their prices are comparable to other places in the area, maybe a little cheaper. But what I love the most is that they offer lunch all day unlike most places that end lunch at 2 or 3. Sometimes I'm not really that hungry and want a lunch size portion at dinner. I love their Ban Ban Chicken. But be aware if you plan to use a debit or card there is a $10 minimum. So if you order lunch that is under $10 and you use a card they charge you $10 anyway. But I always pay in cash so to me it's not really a problem. But they do have great food. I very seldom give a restaurant 5 stars but because they offer lunch all day I'm giving them 5 stars.
