Lovely grotto patio, wine display, and private event space. Again, the chicken was so well prepared, very flavorful, moist, and a considerable portion.“

“My wife, daughter and I went here for my birthday. The service was exquisite from the second we entered. The server accommodated my wife’s allergies and even recommended the best options for her. Every service person we interacted with was friendly and phenomenal. The owner even stopped by to make sure everything went well for our meal. “Place is very small. Seems to be a place family's like. I've been by a number of times but it's always packed with kids and unfortunately today's parents are absolutely useless when it comes to taking care of their kids. So I've always just skipped it. Until today. Seemed kinda slow. So we tried it. We placed our order and sat down to wait. The chairs they have are the most uncomfortable chairs for adults you can get. No biggie. I knew ahead of time kids were probably their target audience. So we told them to just make our order to go. Once we got home and started eating we realised they made the wrong order. So we called to let them know. The manager was super nice and apologized. He gave us a credit to come back. That all said, the food we did get was very good! It wasn't processed crap like you get at Taco Bell. It was real Mexican style food at a decent price. I can definitely see why this would be a favorite of kids. If you have a family, I would definitely recommend this place. Good healthy food your kids will love. If you don't have a family, then get carry out.I can definitely see this place opening more locations and being very successful!!“

The meat itself did not have much of a flavor. The gravy/sauce gave it its flavor, which drowned the plate. The Asparagus just seemed to be dry roasted, no glaze, or seasoning to compliment it. And the baked potato was just that, a baked potato partially cut in half with the short rib on top.The salmon and tuna, I did not have, but my acquaintances said that they were good.The tiramisu was good. I enjoyed it very much. I wouldn't necessarily serve it with the strawberry garnish or the berry dirzzel lines on the side, but overall, it was good.The service: 5 stars.The wait staff were extremely friendly and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Overall: 4 out of 5 stars.“

Take every stereotype you can think of for *that generation* being difficult with service workers, and that was her party. My friend and I watched it unfold (though frankly so did everyone else). Her group made the entire place feel tense and I’m sure other tables were equally appalled by their whiny behavior and smug attitudes. We all had the misfortune of watching multiple staff members look frazzled trying to tend to these entitled diners. I remember years ago this place would have a line of cars wrapped around the corner. I think the person who own this place passed away and it was closed for awhile. I think the family decided to reopen. I'm so very glad they did. Much success to Waves. ??Parking: Street parking. Have to be careful due to the main street of Grand River has heavy traffic. “Drinks are great, food is great, waitress was super nice. Ashley was a super friendly waitress, and she checked on us the perfect amount of times- not too frequently, but not too little. I am vegan and I got the black bean bbq burger with no cheese and it was Very tasty. The drinks are worth the price bc they give you a decent amount of alcohol. I got two drinks, and they were both very different in a good way. The margaritas aren’t too strong so I got a gin and tonic after I finished my margarita. I just love tequila and needed to try one. My mom got a steak with broccoli on the side, and I have to admit that I stole from her plate a little bc I love steamed veggies!Update: went for dinner after grad ceremony (for masters) and got a veggie burger! it was yummy!“
