“First time visit to Pop's and it was a very casual, open space. There were several large parties so it would be a great spot for a family/friends celebration. I ordered the breakfast flatbread and it was good; the flavors were a nice balance between being too bland or over seasoned. Our server was also pleasant and she provided good service. “I've been coming to Anita's for a few years, and I've noticed that I come here most often to get takeout after a vacation when I want something quick and a little healthier. I've also dined in quite a few times! Their atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always quick. My usual go-to is the falafel sandwich with a side of pickled veggies for a filling and flavorful meal. I've also recently had the mixed mezza for two, which was great! It had so many different items in it, and was only $40 for two people, which I thought was a great deal. The hummus and garlic dip are also amazing. Regardless of what I get or when I visit, I've never had a bad meal here. My only complaint is that they're not open on Sundays, which is a little inconvenient, but I totally understand that family time is important as well. I'll for sure keep coming back!“

“This place has fantastic cupcakes and other goodies. Most of the time I go there, I feel bad for making an order (carrot cupcake and a pup cupcake for my dog) because the staff seem genuinely irritated by the inconvenience. Hope they’re being treated okay by their managers!! I don’t blame the individuals at all.“

“Cannot go to bed tonight without writing this review first. Sat at the bar and service was impeccable. Bartender/waitstaff really knew the menu well. Ordered the trout, beet salad, and gnocchi all of which were flavorful and texturally perfect. For dessert, ordered the upside down carrot cake and pavlova. Ate every last bite even though we were already full. We will be coming back and bringing friends!“

“What a wonderful evening at Capital Grill in Troy last night celebrating a 90th birthday. All nine of us thoroughly enjoyed the food from the apps through the desserts. Kona crusted strip as always the bomb and perfectly cooked. No one beats Capital Grille's calamari. Jay took great care of us as well as did all of the employees who treat you like royalty. “We get pizza from here a few times per month when we don’t want to cook. It’s consistently good and we like the variety of styles. The make excellent versions of Detroit-style square pizza, Chicago-style deep dish, and a traditional round pie. Their grinders are also delish when we want to change it up and the kids always beg for me to add the warm chocolate chip cookie pizza. Salads have also been excellent. We’ve easily had 100+ orders here over the years and have literally NEVER had a bad order or an incorrect item, which is almost unbelievable these days. We always buy this when we have family and friends over and they all rave about it. The sauce, the crust, the cheese are all superior and the toppings are the perfect ratio. Really, can you tell it’s our favorite?“

Parking lot can be full but that’s a good sign.Parking: Can be a challenge to park because the lot is full during dinner and lunch rushes but you can get a spot in nearby lots.“

Been wanting to try this place so I had the chicken and sweet potato waffles, which was just OK because the waffle was a bit dry, possibly overcooked and had a little too much of something in the ingredients, that wasn’t very appetizing and unfortunately, the chicken was just OK, but wasn’t very flavorful like I had expected.However, the collard greens and macaroni cheese, were wonderful! And I also was able to try the pork-chop sandwich on a croissant and that too was pretty yummy!When it was time to leave, I asked about the body beads as to the pricing and process to receive help with them. Unfortunately, that response wasn’t very inviting. Therefore, I will go elsewhere for those. “I ordered for the first time Wednesday, 1-10-24, from the new Waterford location. I got the lamb korma, some Naan, raita, and a mango Lassi (carryout). It took me a good twenty minutes to find the place because there was NO signage! My Lassi was warm and the rice was cold. Luckily the lamb was hot enough to warm the rice. I will definitely order again because the food was so good, but seriously, no sign?!“

“Right off Rochester Road and 14 mile sits the pink bakery of Sherlies Delights. There is a variety of different desserts: cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and more. I've tried the Ube cookies, mocha cake, and Ube brownies and they all were so good! Definitely satisfying the sweet tooth.“

“Simply Good Kitchen has some of the most delicious and healthy variety of entrees, soups, salads, and desserts I’ve ever had! The options are so plentiful that I refer to it as the grocery store of chef cooked meals. I also enjoy the vegetarian options and the convenience of the 24 hour kiosk as it’s on my jogging/walking route. It’s perfect for just because, when I don’t want to cook, or order in. It’s definitely a Birmingham gem.“

Some made eye contact with me as well but I wasn't spoken too or at least told that they would be right with me, if they were busy. So I was just standing and looking around me. “Very nice Italian food. Unfortunately, we ended up paying for our parking because the garage we parked in (directly across from the entrance) did not accept the validation from the restaurant. So that was a wasted $29. But the food and service inside were very good.Parking: It was horrible because we were told it was paid for, BUT it WASN'T that SPOILED the evening. Go there knowing that you have to pay to park.“
