“The Charlevoix continues to impress. The food choices are inspired and fun - try everything! Some things I never would have thought to try have been incredible (carrot tostadas have no business being this good). They also serve the best Ole Fashioned in town, and have Sea Quench on tap.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, including the tostadas and the smoked tofu sandwich (don't skip this, it's insanely good).Parking: Parking lot is right across the street at the intersection corner.”

“It has been over 2 years since we have gone here for dinner. In the past I wasn't overwhelmed with their food, even though they're beer selection is top notch. Glad I let my wife make the call and we went here for dinner.We all ended up getting burgers, and my wife and I both commented that these were the best burgers we have had in a long, long time. Howlers and Growlers is now firmly back in my radar when we want to go out for burgers and a beer.”

“Oysters were phenomenal!! And the sauces with them were the best ive had. Lobster eggrolls were amazing. Great food! Table at the top of the stairs was a bit of high traffic area, but otherwise everything was lovely.”

“It was very friendly there. I was with Lonnie Glines Sr, he carved a fish and eagle this year for the chillyfest, he and I were there last year also for the event. I did not come across O'Flaherty's last year. Very enjoyable again this year. Hope to see ya again.”

“Haven't been here in years. It's carry out only now. We ordered pizza, subs, and Chicken Parm. The pizza and bread sticks are still pretty good. The sub got a little soggy from dressing, order that in the side. The chicken parm was just ok. The salad and pasta side were good. Great for nostalgia and if you're looking to grab a carry out pizza.”

“Charming. An old school Italian restaurant in a charming part of Grosse Pointe Park. A family friendly restaurant without being adult unfriendly ?. I went with a classic lasagna and it tasted like I was a “made man” in the Corleone family or something. Heaven! Atmosphere was classy without being stuffy. Midweek dinner and not much of a crowd so we were seated right away. I think my favorite part was tomato sauce that was used in the lasagna.”

“Solid neighborhood American-style Chinese food at a reasonable price. Food is always tasty and fresh. We're not a huge fan of the flavor-profile on the egg rolls, but that's more of a taste preference than a real complaint. The staff is very friendly and pick up time given is always accurate.”

“I would be lying if I said this isn't my second home :) this place has thee BEST mozz sticks. I mean have you ever bit into something so crunchy with oozing cheese melting right into your mouth while tastebuds just dance within your mouth!? Such a beautiful moment. Anyways, I would vote Excalibur Park top 5 bars in Grosse Pointe. You cannot go wrong if you choose to come here for good laughs, great bar games, and just a good ole fashion time.”

“I just had a sandwich so good it made me cry. Deadass. The wagyu brisket sandwich is life changing. I picked that thing up and I knew it was something special. My experience with ciabatta bread has always been disappointing and hard at other places. This ciabbata told me a bedtime story and held me. It was like two delicious pillows that still had integrity so none of the rest of the delightful ingredients escaped. The wagyu was melt-in-your mouth, the coleslaw and aioli were so flavorful and added just the right amount of tang to lift the whole thing into the air. It was worth the price. I think I need to ponder the trajectory of my existence now.”

“Forget the franchises, go here instead! It is some of the best sandwiches you'll eat plus so affordable you'll feel like you're ripping them off. The people are always fun and happy. Service is reasonably fast, but with all their options and each sandwich having so many yummy toppings it's understandable to have a little wait. Trust me it's worth it. Their salads are refreshing yet filling. Sides are great. Really you just can't go wrong. Stop here once and you'll be a lifer.”

“I’ve lived in the area for two years but never got around to trying Red Crown until last night. I really wish I hadn’t waited that long!! Food, drinks and service were all awesome. Even the free chips were outstanding. I got the mushroom, vegan chorizo and chicken tacos. Mushroom and chicken were amazing. Vegan chorizo needed a little bit of extra flavor but still very good. Horchata was delicious. Got a veggie quesadilla to go and it was so good heated up this morning. I can’t wait to go back!”
